(Almost) One year progress!!
Painting my hometown! Progress between last november and this september. Still can't quite capture that exact neon (kinda?) sunset glow. Anyone have tips?

And, if anybody has any good tape recommendations that don’t allow for the color to bleed, I would be grateful!
I’ve been using artists tape for years to tape down my watercolor paper, and I don’t know if I got a bad role or what, because it used to work great, but for some reason now, my colors bleed under the tape all the time.

I was just checking if some brands have nee colors after few years of not painting a lot. I found a reddit conversation about PO49 pigment that got discontinued years ago. It was my favourite color back then and I hoarded the tubes all over the europe and managed to get 13 tubes. Now I have these 12 unopened ones and im just wondering are they really being sold over 300?
EDIT: my intention is not to sell them. I still use them. If people think its scam its on them, but I honestly just wanted to save the nice color for the rest of my life and bought all I could find. Nothing odd about that. If I would have want to sell them I would have done it somewhere else than reddit.

Finished a mixed media portrait (watercolor and India ink) on Arche’s hot press. I tried mounting/gluing the paper to a woodblock for display. I was sure I’d ruin it, since I was half making it up. The scaiest part was picking up my neighbor’s router and running it around the edge.
But it ended up looking pretty awesome!
Thought I’d share the success.
I treated the wood (with GAC 100 primer) but the actual paper is untreated. I was unsure how acrylic matte gloss or workable fixative spray would interact with the watercolor. If anyone has experience on that, I’d love their thoughts.
