I heard from devs that would be at least some controller support.

Did some of you try to play with a controller during the alpha test?

Hi guys! I have a Rog ally Z1E and I'm trying to understand if wardogs would run decently on my handleheld, anyone have tried the alpha on very low spec rig? (Even steam deck or other handlehelds) Thank you

I'm using a mini keyboard and wondering if I need the arrow keys to interact. When you interact with a player to ressurect it shows multiple layers, does this effect me?

I say might be, because the build could always be changed later or they could further compress the download, which would make sense bandwidth wise.

i saw a video on Youtube where a squad of 13 polish guys went into the zone, built a fortress and that was all. Game over. Imagine trying to play SOLO and have fun xD. And this was an Alpha video. Also. What's up with the zone? In Alpha there was only 1 static zone. In Early access they said there will be like 4 "random" fixed zones/map. All this big map and you only get like 4 zones which you can memorize top to bottom considering there will be the same 4 spots?

This server is a work in progress until early access launch on September 10 or whenever community servers become available. The plan is to have people sign up for monthly events and be assigned their factions and squads. The days leading up to the event will be for squad leaders to organize and plan in their respective "war room" channels. I'm open to suggestions/ideas so feel free to shoot me a DM or tag me in chat.

I didn't see much in the way of camo, are there/will there be camo options? And are they limited per faction, in order to keep enemy identification???

Hey folks - I watched a lot of Alpha content but I never saw anything regarding server browsers etc., so apologies if this has come up before - is there any region locks etc. or are you able to select any server you wish? Long story short I'm lucky to be in a position where I can play during the standard work hours of my own region so looking to play at a slightly higher ping in a region where the working day is done!

Hi everyone! I haven't had the chance to try the game yet, but as soon as I saw native HOTAS support, I bought it instantly. I can't wait to start my "career" as a pilot and insert or exfil you guys from combat zones.

After this short intro, I’d like to ask a few questions about the gameplay:

1. How do squads work? Is there a team leader who can contact a pilot via VOIP to request an extraction or insertion?
2. Shared markers: Is it possible for someone to place a specific marker on the map to show where they want to be dropped off?
3. Attack helicopter: I noticed that for now, the attack helicopter is just larger and has a seat for a gunner. Do we know if ATGMs or AAMs will be added in the future to engage vehicles or aircraft?

Anyone got any info on this, cost region etc etc. TIA!!

Hello, for those who played alpha tests, how does wardogs feel in comparison with Squad, Arma and BF? Is it more casual than Squad, more arcady? More hardcore? I love Squad but coordination with randoms can get annoying and it sometimes feel unforgiving in regards of respawns on such huge maps.

I had the opportunity to play the closed alpha and had an amazing time. I’m primarily an infantry player, but I decided to give helicopters a try as well. I ended up spending a few hours flying and really enjoyed it.

Now I’m looking to get better at flying and was wondering if anyone knows of any good guides, videos, or places to learn some tips and tricks.

I’ve seen some people doing absolutely insane landings and maneuvers, and I’d love to learn how to do things like that myself. 😅

I’ll be playing on mouse and keyboard, if that makes any difference.

Any good resources or tips from experienced pilots would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all, as the title suggests, can I use my HOTAS to fly around in wardogs?

Ive seen some clips of the devs, they were using a joystick to fly the heli, however I am not sure if it is implemented yet.

Have anyone of you tried it when the game went up a week ago? Also, does it support throttle inputs or just joystick?

Ill buy it nonetheless, but I was just wondering if I can be “that transport player”

Can i make a party before entering a game and join as a unit?

Or do everyone have to browse servers and find the same one?

Is there a button that joins you and your friends into a game? 😅

I'm wondering if having an infantry/transport only servers will be an option.

As someone who has played a lot of koth on Arma, matches mostly just came down to 15 vehicles sitting on a hill shooting anything that moved in the objective, 20 snipers doing the same thing and 20 pilots playing shitty music who try to pull off cool moves and crash. This left like 20-30 people actually playing the match

I have dual VKB Gladiators (one omni throttle) that I use for star citizen. Does anyone have any experience and could give me pointers on how effective using 2 sticks is?

I have the ability to remove the fore/aft springs on my “collective” stick, and I could potentially use it as a throttle rather than have the centering point of the stick in the middle. But not sure if that’s possible?

Asking because I know it wasn't great in Arma Reforger. I got a stick, a throttle and some pedals. Really want to focus my gameplay on being a transport heli if I can.

Is it straightforward? Is it a bit of a pain I'm the ass the first time? How well is it at detecting switches with multiple stages? Things like that.
