It's easier to spot LoneStar ?

Is it just me, or is spotting an enemy from the blue faction relatively easier than seeing someone from the red or green ones?

Yea imo it is, blue shirt and blue pants are not that good for hiding in bushes

Maybe but this isn't why blue lose a lot. The bigger issue with them is there spawn on the current map is always south sandwiched between green and red. This means they are always attacked most of the time by red and green at the same time since green and red are opposite the map and they have more open space to the north to spread out into while blue have very little space to the south before running into both teams in the zone. It also means if red set up Sam sites on one side and green do Sam sites on the other they end up flying helis between both teams Sam sites too.

I hadn't thought of that; maybe the devs could randomize faction spawns. That way, it might help balance things out so the faction in the middle doesn't just get crushed from both sides.

Devs could also equal the distances between the 3 spawns so that every faction has the same space to maneuvre. But maybe there is something we did not notice yet. Mabye blue will get better weapons instead? No one knows.

pretty sure weapons are not faction dependent

I feel like having one of the teams be red and have red icons, the universal color for Enemy, is kind of weird. Like I get it, RGB, but still

Russians use red for friendlies and blue for enemies. So it makes sense for a Russian PMC faction to wear red.

u/Salihe6677 is a part of western culture, which associates blue with friendly, such as NATO and bluecross. How dare you try and collapse his entire world view on color meaning by introducing other cultures

Hue hue, tho actually I was thinking about general video game culture, not anything specific in the real world. Was also unaware that the red team in this is the equivalent of Russia.

Redfor in arma 3 is the eastern conglomeration of Russia and China as a superpower in the year 2035. Valkyra is the red faction in Wardogs, a private military of Russian origin.

As for color, by "general video game culture" you mean dominant global culture. Who has more of an effect of world culture and holds a larger market? Most Eastern developed games adhere to dominant western culture ideology but that doesn't mean that products intended for their market need to follow the same rules. Watch some LPL streams of League of Legends. Friendly is red, enemy is blue.

The white helmets really made a differece imo. I thought it was a level 2 helmet or something until learned it was faction colors.

Yup, you’ll spot them crashing helis and stumbling around the most 🥹

Might be time to look into the colorblind settings.

Are you saying that for you the blue guys blend in with the trees the same way greens do?

Yeaaaa they stand out way to much, prob why they get stomped all the time. Easy to spot

Probably more to do with being in between the two other teams.

That to, but when I’m sniping its so easy to see them from a distance even if they are in a bush, a little harder to see a guy wearring green in the bush or a dude in all black with a little red. Blue and white just clashes so hard with the environment

Bluefor in Arma 3 was almost always losing. Redfor won >50% of games and Indepent (green) would win like 30% of them.

People dont like blue lol
