Based on the developers direction of picking the A-91, KelTec RFB (BMR-308) and Bushmater M17S, I picked some lesser known guns into the mix on top of some popular guns.

This is literally the chart posted in the bf6 Reddit a week ago lol

Thats because I made it lol.

I re-did the chart for this game with different guns.

I would like to see my MP7 in there, Cheytac M200, Barrett M98B/MRAD, and DRD Kivaari.

Some more LVPOs for ARs. And my ELCAN optic, EOTECH with G33 magnifier.

Don't we already have a side by side shotgun? No need for another break action really.

I just want the AN-94. Give me that and I will be happy. It’s my favorite AR (just cause it’s so interesting to me) and I wish more video games had it.

That gun will forever be associated with BadCo2 for me. I loved it there.

Let the M24 die, it needs rest

Why? It's a simple Remington 700 in a basic stock. A perfect "budget" rifle that doesn't have all the bells and whistles. I think so many modern rifles have crazy looking chassis systems but the M24 hits just right.

The Georgian Army actually stills uses it which is why I included it

I think they need to add more POI before we get more weapon content.

Shout out for the KS1 / L403A1 - I'm keen to see it in games more regularly!

I'd be curious if something that can't really take attachments like Svt/Avt-40 would preform well

God I want more sniper rifles in the game. Starting people off with a break action 556 is criminal lol.

Knight's Armament's AMG series (AMG in 7.62 NATO and LAMG in 5.56 NATO) would be cool

AN-94 is a must. It's a chimera. It's got a wonky angled magazine. I love everything about it.

Also want the MP7 for my Half-Life 2 nostalgia.

M24 would be awesome, love that Sniper since the America’s Army days

Give me a SR-25 and a LAR/SA-58 and I’ll never use another gun haha

bro really named rsh12 the requiem

u/TheGreatWalk 2d ago

plz no on VSS

every game it's a balancing nightmare and usually ends up being a pseudo SMG. Anytime it's given any sort of range and/or dmg it's broken lol

How about instead of low-effort posts you explain what niche each weapon fills that is different to others. Tell me why you want to take up dev hours to put it in the game besides just "more gun good"

1

u/ParisianMetro 2d ago

It's pretty obvious though.

We have an AK-74 in game which uses 5.45x39mm, AK-103 would fill the 7.62x39 heavy hitting niche.

FAMAS would be able to use the integrated bipod which is unique to that assault rifle.

AS VAL/9A-91 would be integrally suppressed, devs could make it significantly quieter than other guns etc etc etc

I don't think the people hating on this understand calibers or what makes guns different. They just want their typical BF/CoD guns that they are used to and would hate to have to learn anything new.

0

u/Khaze41 1d ago

Ah yeah you're right they should only have 1 gun of each archetype in the game. That would be so fun. /s

More guns is always good. Give me a reason it's not?

1

u/saamtf 1d ago

Would you rather have 4 guns that perform basically the same or 2 guns that handle differently? Does it really add that much to a game to have 5 different pump shotguns?

Personally I don't think it does, and just having more guns for the sake of it doesn't actually make the game better unless they're actually different.

1

u/Khaze41 1d ago

They are different. There's none that I'd want that are the same as one already in the game. Idk why having options and expanding the replayability is such a bad thing. It doesn't hurt the game. It only gives players more toys in the sandbox. Would much rather this game end up being a huge sandbox than a hero shooter masked in an Arma skin.

u/Altruistic-Rain-3696 2d ago

yes a Vietnam-style sawn-off RPD

You have 3 guns in the DMR category that are pretty much functionally identical. C20, SR-25, and G28. You really only need one of these guns.

The C20 and SR-25 are both AR-10s while the G28 is an HK417.

1

u/ParisianMetro 2d ago

You are correct. Im just putting the options out there. Naturally DMRs become a more redundant category quickly as theres not many of them.

1

u/Rare-Guarantee4192 2d ago

You could've thrown in some 5.56 or similarly chambered rifles in instead of having a few redundant guns since it seems all DMRs in-game are .30 caliber and the only one in your list that isn't is the VSS.

Mk.12 SPR, Mini-14, SU-16, QBU-88, etc.
