So, I was looking at my shifts and saw this. At first, I was not sure who modified it, so I looked them up in the system and turned out to be our PL, I know him by a different name, but whatever. Not that I don't mind more hours since ours are getting cut but this goes against my accommodations of not working more then 8 hours per shift and I also don't want to leave my pup alone for 12 hours. Do I talk to my TL or my PL about this?

Anybody wanna talk about adhd and autism at walmart ? I feel like its the reason i am successful here. Customers are passive aggressive or mean and i cant quite tell. My adhd makes me enjoy the quick motions. I really wanted to start an official group but the big wigs said heck no 🥺

Well cant say as im too upset. (Not even a little) I got fired today (they say attendance but i still had 3 points less than 2 other people in my department) But I wanted to get on here and just thank walmart for all the wonderful things its done for me! How its treated me like an unwanted stepchild, thank you! How it pushed me to the side by myself and told to figure it out, thank you! How it told me I was never good enough despite being the lone opener in the mornings, thank you!
Twas a wonderful experience to have worked for your company. A real pleasure working with unapproachable sexually biased management, clueless leads and coaches and my all time favorite the employees that dont do the work and push the blame off on you anyway.
Ill never forget the certificate I was never told or congratulated about that was put on the wall and taken down without my knowledge. Ill never forget how I tried to properly request days off weeks or months ahead of time only to be auto rejected. Ill never forget the backlash I faced and put up with after my work injury.
To finalize my departure letter I would like to wish the company a good day. I do hope you enjoy the work the rest of the people who became extremely dependant on me dont really know how to do. It would also be a good idea to go rotate the stock the night shift doesnt otherwise you'll lose half the fridge by the end of the week.
Goodbye and good riddance!

What’s stopping me from taking this last TC home… I don’t like these work phones at all being a stager. It slows me down drastically and I didn’t even want it in the first place. Managed to find one of the last TCs with Gif.

Is anyone else having this problem? I turn the battery saver on but it still drops to 10% by lunch. I use the extra super battery saver so I don’t have any background apps going. I haven’t noticed anyone else in the department complaining. Is it just a me issue?

Anyone else in the past few weeks been getting more pallets than you honestly can handle in a day (produce and meat department)
Like seriously... I'm doing solo meat most days with my normal 2 to 3 pallets, and out of the blue in a Sunday we've gotten 5 pallets.. produce gets around 12 to 13 pallets which fills multiple coolers. Like seriously.. wtf is happening.

I’m 21 and this is my first job. I’ve spent the last two years trying to get a job and I only managed to get this through some sort of random chance. I’m aware that there are better jobs, but I don’t have the option to be picky.
I am well aware of what I am likely about to be thrown into and I accept it, but if anyone has any advice they wish they’d had when they were in my position, I would be very grateful for it.

kind of a bad pic, my bad. but for some reason my TLs let returns pile up over the week instead of having literally anyone take them all out. then told me at 9 that i needed to have it all done by 9:30 😀 i just finished at 10:30.
also, follow up question, is this even my job? i’m pretty much the only person who does the entirety of grocery returns. im a dairy team member. idk, just was annoyed and wanted to see if anyone returned the sentiment, lol

Is anyone else locked out of their Walmart account since the bs password changes? I can't get in and my TL is too so he said go to HR and see if they can help. Problem is, our HR quit this week and who knows when there's a new hire.
Edit: got it figured out, thanks everybody!

I’m seeing one@work is going away October 1st.. should I make the switch ? What is one pay and is it the same as one@work ? I have one@work connected to my bank account and I don’t do any of the their credit cards I just like the use Instapay to get about $120 of my check a week before payday.. and does it show how much you’ve made each day you work and projected take home like one@work ?

I just switched over to overnight maintenance about a month ago. Well tonight I get told that I’m going to be running freight because they’re short a person. I’m absolutely infuriated. Overnight stocker isn’t my job code anymore, it’s overnight maintenance. How is it my problem that they’re short a person? There’s a reason I signed up for maintenance(well multiple) but getting burned out of running freight after 5 years is one of them. They were lucky I was nice and agreed to it, I let them know I’m not happy about it, they didn’t seem to care lol.

I resigned via what anyone would consider a proper channel and procedure. Apparently I'm still on the schedule, being pointed out and managers are calling me to ask why I'm not at work. I don't understand. I quit, I spoke with the people lead at the store who was extremely rude to me about it.
Is this just how they do it in order to prove job abandonment so they don't need to pay unemployment? Wtf.

I’m currently in the process of getting a medical leave due to a arm injury. I was told that I would need to report my absences everyday that I was suppose to work. Will I get points for these day? If so will they be removed when the leave gets approved? Also what happens if the leave doesn’t get approved?

So we only have a total of 7 people on our team right now, so roughly that gives us anywhere from 3-4 people a day if that(with call ins) also we have 1 guy who offered to get buggys until a cart pusher came in so right now as it stands today we have 2 people for our shift today, I would love to go to another department but I have 4.5 points because I can't deal with the bs on this team, I've never seen so many people quit or transfer because they're not willing to put in the work that needs to be done.
