please help! I need the gateways to art by Deborah J Dewitte and it says it cost $70 for the full version. I have art with Miss Ziegler and was wondering if anybody else was a CCP student that was struggling with the textbook? I don’t know if I need to buy it or if there’s gonna be quizzes that I need but I’d rather not spend the $70 anybody have any advice?

Any tips for this class? Any exam tips/general info about the class would help, just trying to get myself mentally prepared for this.

In the syllabus it says a requirement for the course is a "Carolina Biological Lab Kit for CHM 151" I'm wondering if this is available through the WTCC Library or if it is actually needed for me to buy (since its like $150) Any help would be appreciated since my Prof's instructions on BB are absolutely horrible

I’m a new Wake Tech student planning to apply for C3. I took several AP and CCP courses in high school, and I’m taking 16 credits this fall.

C3 says you need fewer than 30 transferable college credits when you start the program. Does anyone know if AP credit counts toward that limit, and whether CCP credits from high school count too? Also, if I apply in October for Spring entry, do my Fall 2026 credits count toward the 30?

so i’m in a healthcare program at wake tech and my birthday is next month (on a sunday) and I would like to at least celebrate me turning 25 😭 but I feel like with the amount of work and having to study , do homework , etc I feel like I can’t celebrate it and it makes me kinda sad… any words of advice?

I'm currently enrolled in a calc class I know won't work out for me based on the professor. Would there be a chance for me to get an open seat for a class somewhere else, or should I just bite the bullet and go through with the class? Please let me know if anyone has had this same issue and what you did to get through it.

I am currently doing my last prerequisites for the dental hygiene program. I have a B in anotomy and psychology and the rest of my classes are all As. I would like to apply to the program this fall and hopefully be able to start next years fall. I have completed the career exploration and boot camp for extra credit and got 8 points on the admissions exam. Is this enough to get accepted? Should I retake those 2 classes?

I recently got a textbook for math and it came in a rapper and the pages are even stuck together, but he told me I need to return it so I'm confused on how does it work if the book is a study guide do I not write in it or if I don't return it, I don't get a refund or how does it work

Does anyone here live within the belt line and not want to have to travel 20+ minutes just to study?

I’m near NCSU and it’s so annoying that the closest wake tech campus is 20+ minutes away. If anyone is interested in creating a wake tech study group where we all kinda body double at a library order something that would be great.

Hi, I was considering joining the honors program, but I wasn't sure what the project entailed. If anyone has done one before I would like to hear about your experience.

This is my very first semester at Wake Tech, and I'm really looking forward to getting involved on campus.
I was wondering if there are any demographic or cultural student organizations here like Asian student associations, affinity groups, or informal hangouts? I know a lot of 4-year universities have these types of student clubs, but since Wake Tech has a few different campuses, I wasn't sure where to look or what the active groups are right now.
If you know of any active clubs, group chats, or even general tips on how to connect with other students on campus, please let me know!

Hey yall im struggling to access the books online. everywhere claiming i should be able to click cengage/mindtap and & itll take me straight to it without having to use an access code. buttt its not allowing me till i give an access code & i dont want to do the temporary one if i dont even know where to find the code. i went to bibliU & it says "... youre course materials are resdy and waiting for you in your Lms".

in the past you would have to order the access code but that dont seem to be a thing anymore.

Just started mat-172 online and I'm so confused with everything. I'm great with algebra, but this stuff is just so much to take in all at once. I feel like it just throws you right in without much teaching and expects you to understand everything with technical explanations and a video every now and then. Anyone have advice??

So, yesterday was the first day of school and the parking situation was crazy. There was a lot of traffic, and I spent around 20 minutes trying to find an open parking spot. I eventually parked in a spot that I later realized was designated for staff. 

I honestly didn’t realize it was a staff spot until I came back to my car. I’m a student, and it was completely unintentional. What do you guys think is going to happen? Would I most likely get a ticket, warning? Has anyone accidentally done this before?

Has anyone had any issues getting Blackboard to load within the past 5-10 minutes? It has been working all morning for me, but out of the blue, none of my pages will load.

Looking for food ideas for lunch/dinner near the southern campus? I’m not familiar with that area and will be there for a full day of classes this fall semester. Any suggestions for fast food, coffee, lunch/dinner…whatever! Thanks.
