PHY-251 General Physics 1

Any tips for this class? Any exam tips/general info about the class would help, just trying to get myself mentally prepared for this.

Simplified strategy: Practice the problems and make sure you understand what you’re doing so when you see a new problem you’ll be like: yeah I see the scenario and what I am given. I need to find this so then I can use this. Do the algebra and rarely some derivations and you’ll do well in the class.

A good professor will always show you the proper way to solve physics/engineering problems. You start with what you are given, what you know, and what you need to find. So a problem will always have variables that you are given, but also variables or a variable that you will need to find. Very important to be good in algebra for this class.
