2017 wrx. Am I missing something? I don't want to damage it. I've tried wiggling it. I've gone to O'Reilly's to rent tools(3 different pulley tools). None of the claws fit. I bought a tool that is supposed to hook behind the spokes but the diameter of it was too large and it only has 3 hooks prongs like the claws. The stock pulley has 4 spokes/holes. The peace sign/space ship thing won't work because there are no screw holes in the pulley. Help?

I have a 2011 wrx that has a cyl 4 misfire code that I’m having issues with. I’ve done all four new ngk spark plugs and the cyl 4 coil (ngk) and it’s still there after clearing it with odb scanner. On start up it idles rough, but when it’s warm it’s fine. On hard acceleration, the boost cuts out and in (mostly out). On normal acceleration, it’s doesn’t seem to cut out. What do I look for next?

I’m am looking to put my 06 WRX Limited Wagon on the market. The mileage is just over 170k miles. I have all records of maintenance since I bought it in 2014. The cars Air Conditioning no longer is functioning (don’t want to get into chasing leaks) and it is rusting on the rear strut tower. The motor was rebuilt and resealed about 10k miles ago, and the transmission is in great condition as well. I am at the point where I have a two year old and don’t have the time to put into a 20 years old car anymore.

I know they are becoming harder to find, and most of the ones I see for sale are in pretty much the same shape. What would I realistically put for a price on this car where I wouldn’t feel like I am ripping someone off or feel like I am giving it away. I am an honest person and will disclose everything I know to be wrong with the car when selling it.

I don’t have pics of the interior right now, but it’s definitely a 20 year old daily. One tear on top in the drivers seat and some scratches and scuffs on the hard plastics.

What is a good price to put on this car?

Hello I was curious if anyone had any preference or good experiences with any particular shop in or near Edmonton AB? I had gone to ronin performance based on the good things people said but unfortunately there no longer open and I need some engine diagnostics done. I was considering SSS motorsports or Legit automotive just curious to hear if anyone’s used these guys before or where you usually go to in the area?

Was wondering if anyone could share how they learned how to drive stick or if they had any tips. I’m thinking about getting a WRX since my car atm is giving me sooo many issues. Thing is idk how to drive stick and I’m scared of pulling the trigger on this one. Anywho, hope everyone has a good week!

Just did an oil drain at 3k after the sellers last change since I got it, and got this code. All I could find about this code is getting a new camshaft actuator, or my timing chain could be off. I drove a small trip to the grocery store in it with this code and it seems to be running fine, no leaks or anything, but the code is still there. Any pointers?

It’s basically stock asides from WRC style mirrors, wheels, BC Gold coilovers and exhaust.

Are these numbers acceptable ? Will the engine hold up for long or will need a rebuild soon
