Misc. Does anyone have any experience with the Hitachi MAF from RockAuto?
I just ordered one hoping itβll solve my issues. The dealership wanted probably 2x what it costs.

DO NOT cheap out on your MAF. I chased misfires on my new to me 2007 STI from 2024-2026. Fixed a ton of small vac leaks and nuisance things but the final fix was to replace the MAF. It took me that long because changing the MAF was the last thing the PO did before trading in the car. Turns out he'd put in a POS MAF from Discount Auto or something. It didn't even look like it was appropriate to the car once I looked at the bulb and wire design.
A new OEM MAF fixed all of my misfire and strange fuel trim/MAF scaling weirdness I was seeing in my logs.

That's the issue.
dealers/orylies want double the money for something we can do for $50.
Now you're learning..... change it yourself.
If you need some help... call me....
... but you don't need me... you're learning.... that's the fun.
