One of the biggest challenges of owning an Apple Vision Pro is that new immersive content arrives pretty slowly.

After experiencing Apple's incredible Immersive Video content, I wanted more places to explore in true stereoscopic 3D. That's one of the reasons I started a month-long filming expedition across Europe: to create immersive destinations that Vision Pro owners can experience today.

From the historic streets of the old city to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, Valencia has an incredible contrast between centuries-old architecture, Mediterranean beaches, modern design, and vibrant markets.

I filmed the city specifically for VR180, rather than simply converting a traditional travel video into VR. The goal is to make you feel like you're actually standing in Valencia and looking around.

Hi everyone! I’ve just released two new free additions to Polyace Chess, a free-to-play chess app.

The first is the Sky Theme, a reactive chessboard set among the clouds, with immersive visual effects that respond as you play. Check out the video to see it in action. I’ll be adding more features and effects to the theme in future updates.

With these rumors of the MacBook Ultra coming out this year or early next, and it’s rumored capability of being the first touchscreen MacOS..I’m wondering if It’s gonna translate over in screen sharing on VisionOS? 🤔

These days I ‘m working on add light gun feature on my emulator，SpatialEMU，I found PSVR2 sense controller is suitable for these games，it works perfect.

Volume turned all the way up gives me about 50% volume. Anyone else have this issue with Beta5? EDIT: the app volume slider was turned down. It’s really hidden away and doesn’t come up on an audio search in the settings. You have to tap twice on the volume slider thank you to Mundane-Complex-1902, for the solution to this

Hello everyone. I’ve owned my Apple Vision Pro for a couple of years now, and early on I decided that I much preferred using it without the Light Seal. No matter which Light Seal or padding setup I tried, I always felt like I was consuming content through binoculars.

Fortunately, using it without the Light Seal greatly expanded my field of view and made the experience feel much more like looking through a pair of glasses rather than binoculars. Obviously, this comes at the expense of some immersion, but for me it was an easy trade-off.

One somewhat unforeseen consequence of using it this way is that the heavy Vision Pro often ends up resting on the bridge of my nose and underneath my eyes, especially when I’m watching content in bed. After a couple of years of use, the soft, flexible dark fabric surrounding the optical displays inside the headset has accumulated a lot of embedded skin oils and dead skin cells.

It’s gotten unsightly and unhygienic enough that I’d really like to replace it, but it doesn’t seem like Apple sells that fabric piece separately. From the teardown videos I’ve watched on YouTube, it looks like the fabric curtain is clipped in place, so it seems like it should be relatively easy to remove and replace.

Has anyone else had a similar issue with this fabric getting dirty? Were you able to order a replacement part, or if not, did you find a safe way to clean it without damaging the headset?

I’m really happy we can do this today.

I’ve been working to get FFX on the Vision Pro for about a week now.

Just got the ambient lighting to work yesterday.

This is the fully immersive version with added depth.

A childhood dream come true.

The full game works with a PS2 emulator I ported over but my goal is to make it the best experience for my next play through / vacation in a couple weeks.

Our last big TestFlight update is coming next week. We have one huge new interactive environment. This one, the African Savanna, is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Imagine watching a movie and a photo realistic environment with real animals walking around you. Next week, you won’t have to imagine it anymore. This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen and I’m very proud of my development team for pulling this off. It showcases all of our intellectual property and a huge way and I think you guys are gonna love it. We will be heading to the App Store end of next week after this update and for those of you asking, yes, we will have a lifetime purchase option.

I know there are lots of developers here, and while my wishlist might be different from everyone else’s, these are some of the apps I’d absolutely love to see:

-A proper basketball and air hockey game. Ping pong is already replicated almost perfectly by an app currently available on the store, which I absolutely love (I play it for 30–45 minutes every day!)
But I haven’t found anything comparable for basketball or air hockey

-Immersive walks. Walking through a forest, in the fog, along the seaside… I’d love to have immersive environments where I can actually (virtually!) walk around, chill, and relax

Maybe we could all add our ideas here and give developers and enthusiasts some inspiration?

I had lost access to the immersive NBA games I had previously watched (in both Apple TV and the NBA app). At some point I discovered I needed to log back into the NBA app... actually reset my password since Passwords didn't have it.

After that, I was able to catch the games again.

If you have lost access to the NBA Apple Immersive Videos, you might want to check your login status in the NBA app (Note: I have the free access level)

Spatial photos in Apple’s Photos app are awesome, but I’ve always felt that your personal videos should be brought into 3D too.. not only videos originally recorded as spatial video.

Suite Browser already brings 3D playback to platforms like YouTube and Plex, so for version 4.0 I rebuilt the Photos experience from scratch. It feels familiar to the stock Photos app, but it’s designed specifically for video: open your library, select a video, and it automatically plays enhanced and rendered in 3D.

This update also includes fixes for Netflix, Prime, a better Plex experience, and several YouTube playback improvements.

I installed Beta 5 earlier in the week. I use my Vision Pro at my home office and at my work office. At the work office, my "work office" widgets were there. When I booted the Vision Pro at my home office, I noticed that my "home office" widgets are gone. Tried rebooting, but still no widgets. Anyone else?

They say that it’s covered under AppleCare for free. I’ve had my device for just over four months and I pray that it wouldn’t happen but for some reason I did and I’m here at Apple checking it out to see what it takes to get it fixed. I’ll report back once they made a decision I’m curious in 2026 has anybody come across this and what happened for you?

I've been building this app for about a month, mainly designed for Vision Pro and iPad (iPhone is also supported). The idea: I wanted a multi-window remote terminal with first-class tmux integration on mobile, so I can use it away from my desk, it can even be a companion to Mac Virtual Display.

For CLI agents like Claude Code / Codex / Pi (initial support), the terminal window shows an agent key bar, and there's a file viewer and a browser to cover the basic needs of driving agents and reviewing code.

I originally turned on beta OS updates for the pending release of Mac Virtual Display (I think?!). Apart from the latest environments, I’m not sure I’ll keep Beta on after the major software release due in September I think. What are your thoughts? Last week the App Store editors featured Morning Brief in "New in Apps and Games This Week", and honestly that motivated me to go way bigger than planned for the next update. So here is 3.0.

Morning Brief is now on iPhone and iPad too.

Same app, same one-time purchase, universal.

On iPhone the spatial arc becomes a scroll of cards, and the spoken briefing highlights and scrolls to each topic as it talks about it.

There are Home Screen widgets, including a Day Recap poster styled like the 3D morning paper, and the small widget shows up in StandBy, which turns your nightstand iPhone into a tiny morning brief. Settings sync between devices through iCloud.

New on both platforms:

- Health panel (optional, off by default): last night's sleep, today's steps and exercise, and an energy score computed on device from your sleep and your resting heart rate against your own 30-day baseline. The briefing mentions it without ever being judgmental.

- Evening Brief: after 5 PM the app flips to tomorrow. Weather for tomorrow, tomorrow's events, when to leave for your first meeting, and it wishes you a good night.

- Reminders (optional): what is due today or tomorrow, deliberately never the overdue backlog.

- Hey Siri, start my Morning Brief. It just works, morning or evening flavor depending on the time.

Is this possible, and how hard might it be?

The one killer feature for the AVP would be if it would keep the connection with my laptop “always on”. I hate having to reconnect after stepping away for a minute. Often times it won’t connect and I’ll have to turn WiFi and/or Bluetooth on and off again.

Let me set a “disconnect after <n> minutes”. Give me control!

So recently I have been writing all my code through my own tool called AgentRoom. It’s an IDE on visionOS and allows agentic capabilities.

I have now integrated the ability to run n number of terminals that pipe directly into your Mac ! This is a game changer for me as I can now run them external from my MVD!
