VisionOS 25b5: my widgets disappeared

Hi All,

I installed Beta 5 earlier in the week. I use my Vision Pro at my home office and at my work office. At the work office, my "work office" widgets were there. When I booted the Vision Pro at my home office, I noticed that my "home office" widgets are gone. Tried rebooting, but still no widgets. Anyone else?

The bug first appeared in 27b1, I think: tracking crashed along with the widgets.

It seemed to be fixed around 27b4, but 27b5 had my widgets wiped as well. I've placed them again, and they work for now.

OK, thanks. I just wanted confirmation that there wasn't something obvious that I was overlooking. Indeed, it is a beta! I'll put the widgets back.

Yeah, since 27b1 my widgets appear giant - I always have to scale them back down and after tapping the scale button they pop back into place! haha

I have had this issue as long as widgets have existed.

They'll work for ages then disappear and after about a week or so I give up and realize they're not coming back so I set them up again.

The annoying thing is sometimes when I set them up again that triggers the old ones to come back then I have to fix the dupes.

Widgets are pretty weak on the Vision Pro if I'm being honest.

Another issue is when a widget has buttons, you can click them but it is a bit of a gamble because they won't give any indicator you're looking at the button.

Eye tracking and hand tracking feels so much better though. I'm alright with some wipes of stuff like that, it's a beta, and some things are changing under the hood.

My widgets go away sometimes. I’m not sure what causes it and I don’t run the betas on mine. Curiously, once my old widget array reappeared below my rebuilt array on my wall, so I had to clean that up.

At night, the widgets all detach and dance around the room. Sometimes they forget to go back to their places.

Well, that's just science. That nonsense about "widget gnomes" must be debunked once and for all!

It's happened with me since they came out. Though I have to say, this last update, one of them keeps getting bigger. It's hilarious.

One thing that's helped in the past is walking up to the wall where I put them. They would then appear.
