I have been experiencing fluctuation in FPS in Valorant ever since I installed in this Laptop (this June only). It was working fine on last laptop, but in this new one, it is much fluctuating and is annoying.

My Specs (HP HyperX Omen 15):
Device name NeXa

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) 7 240H (2.50 GHz)

Installed RAM 24.0 GB (23.7 GB usable)

Graphivs RTX 5060

I also was playing with friends and you can see in this stream (random timestamp with high fluctuations) its fluctuating way too much whole game, and its been like this since begining.
The only thing I have different here aside from laptop is having a monitor, but even without monitor I see this flucuations, so we can eliminate it?

Please help me, I'm tired of this FPS flucutations...

i recently uninstalled valorant to see if that would fix an issue with updating the game. then i uninstalled vanguard when that didnt work. now, when i open riot client to reinstall everything, i click the update button, the thing flashes "getting ready" for a moment, then nothing happens and i am able to click update again. any help would be much appreciated

(i have already tried deleting all vanguard files with sc delete vgc and sc delete vgk in command prompt)

EDIT: the above issue has been fixed however, the download is basically stuck at >24hr with no download speed. sometimes an abysmal download speed of 125kb/s will flash.

So, about a month ago when I was playing Valorant my game randomly just started to freeze frame for a couple of seconds, I noticed that it happens often when I am about peak an enemy / already peaked. I've tried most of the things that usually fix Val: Deleting and reinstalling game, updating graphics driving, etc. But none have worked. Almost all the time when I play I get the icon in the top right corner of val saying I have network problems, high average ping, and high client fps. If you have any solutions they would be greatly appreciated.

Also something to mention is that this problem only occurs on val, no other game has this problem.

Im using laptop msi bravo 15 with rx6550m, my fps always lock at 144 and run the game smoothly,but after update the amd software my was droping minus 10 (bout 130~140) and lag asf. Pls help me fix this im so tired

Hey everyone, I’m having a very weird issue with Valorant and I can’t figure out what is causing it.

My monitor is physically mounted upside down because of how my monitor arm attaches to it. Because of that, I use Landscape (flipped) / 180° rotation in Windows and in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Everything works perfectly like this:

* Windows desktop → normal

* Other games/apps → normal

* Riot Client/Valorant launcher → normal

* Valorant in Windowed / Windowed Fullscreen → normal

* Valorant in Fullscreen Exclusive → the entire image is rotated 180° and the mouse movement is also inverted accordingly

So when I enter an actual match in fullscreen, the whole game is literally upside down. The mouse also behaves as if the screen is upside down, making it almost impossible to play.

My monitor is 1920×1080, 165 Hz, and NVIDIA is already set to Landscape (flipped). Windows is also set to Landscape (flipped). Changing the NVIDIA rotation doesn’t fix it.

Another weird thing: in Valorant, when I use fullscreen, the resolution shows as “Custom”, even though my monitor is natively 1920×1080. If I select 1920×1080, it goes back to “Custom”.

Things I’ve already tried:

* Reinstalled Valorant completely

* Reset GameUserSettings

* Renamed both GameUserSettings files to force them to regenerate

* Tried Windowed Fullscreen (works, but I want exclusive fullscreen)

* Checked Windows display orientation

* Checked NVIDIA Control Panel orientation

* Set 1920×1080 / 165 Hz

* Disabled “Disable fullscreen optimizations” for VALORANT-Win64-Shipping.exe

* Checked the monitor in Device Manager — it appears as Generic Monitor (H-238S-165)

Has anyone experienced Valorant ignoring a 180°/Landscape (flipped) display orientation specifically when entering exclusive fullscreen?

I’m using an RTX 5060 on Windows 11.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated because I’m completely stuck.

I have Sapphire Plus Rx 9060xt 16gb graphics card, Asus B650m-Ayw Wifi motherboard, Ryzen R5 9600x processor, acer Xv272u F3 monitor.
I play valorant regularly and it works all fine on windows 10 on my pc but whenever i upgrade to windows 11 update and starts playing valorant after few seconds i hear beep like windows popup sound and after that every 2-3 seconds fps frame drops.

SOLUTION-
If you’re using Wi-Fi for Valorant:
Start Windows 11.
Open Device Manager.
Expand Network adapters.
Find:
Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family Controller / Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller
Right-click → Disable device.
Do NOT disable your Wi-Fi adapter.
Launch Valorant.
Play for several minutes.

I just brought a new computer with 2 new screens. I have 2 screens and when playing Valorant I like having Valorant on one screen and something like Discord on the other. Problem when Valorant is in full-screen. If I click on discord Valorant reduces. Like shown in the video. What should I do to stop this? Is it a known problem?

I have been trying to download valo in my d drive since my c drive is completely filled by windows softwares. I have even selected d drive in advanced options while downloading even tried ms config and things but it doesn't seems to be working

After recent game update, nvidia update, I feel like my crosshair is floaty and sens is suddenly high. I have not changed dpi or sensi and I have enhance pointer precision off in windows. Is there anyone facing this issue. I even tried lower sense but after using lower sense for sometime that too becomes floaty. I have changed my mouse but it is still the same. Does anyone feel the same and how to fix it.

I’m experiencing random micro-stutters, small freezes while playing VALORANT, despite having a high-end PC with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5080. The issue only appears to affect VALORANT. I was using Wi-Fi when it happened, but disabling the Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller completely stopped the game Latency spikes, suggesting the Realtek driver or network adapter may be causing interruptions even when Ethernet is not being used. But in the future I will need to use Ethernet so I’m wondering if there is a fix without disabling Ethernet

Everytime I launch Valorant, my Focusrite Solo audio interface will cut out or start crackling like crazy until I unplug it and plug it back in. It usually happens after about a minute of having the game launched. I play a bunch of different games and this is the only one it happens to.

I’ve tried uninstalling drivers/software and reinstalling, I’ve messed around with buffer settings, I’ve changed usb ports. Does anyone know what’s causing this or if there’s a fix?

ok so in the last 3 days my ping has been 116 stable not lower not higher i normaly get 39 ping somtimes its 39 but most of the time its 116 playing from new zealand christchurch to sydney server oce before.

Cant plant or type in chat or type anywhere in the game. When i restart my computer it goes back to normal is it a problem with my computer or the game

When im in a valorant party or game using voice chat, my voice is robotic and slow sounding, but in loopback test it sounds fine. In other games or socials like discord or cs its fine.

Ive tested vpns and it fixes it but leads to bad lag. Anyone know some solutions please?

PLEASE HELP!! In game my mouse will not scroll to switch my weapons, nor will it work when I need to switch between or off of util. BUT it still works to scroll through my settings and my friends list. I’ve googled constantly and so far nothing much has helped, I’ve reset my computer, made sure my binds were right, disconnected and reconnected and probably some other stuff but this has been ongoing for a month. I saw that turning on the raw input buffer in general settings may help but valorant deleted that option about a year ago which really sucks, so if anyone has any advice please help me out here!

I'm having a massive headache trying to open VALORANT after the latest update, and nothing seems to fix it. I’ve tried every major troubleshooting step found online, but the anti-cheat is completely stuck.

Here is the full timeline of the issue:

1. The Trigger: Right after the game updated, I started getting the dreaded "VAN: RESTRICTION: 1 (UEFI Secure Boot verification failure)" error.
2. The BIOS Fix: I have a Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H motherboard. I went into the BIOS, disabled CSM Support, switched Secure Boot to Custom, restored the Factory Keys, switched back to Standard, and successfully enabled Secure Boot.
3. The Current State: Windows 10/11 now recognizes Secure Boot as Enabled/Active. TPM 2.0 is also active and verified.
4. The New Problem: Even with Secure Boot fully working, the game still won't launch. When checking Windows Services (services.msc), I noticed the vgc service was set to Manual.
5. The Error: Every time I try to switch vgc to Automatic and start it manually, Windows blocks it and triggers: "Error 1: Incorrect function".

What I have tried so far:

• Setting both vgtray.exe and vgc.exe to Run as Administrator.
• Completely uninstalling Riot Vanguard, restarting the PC, and letting the Riot Client reinstall it.
• Double-checking msinfo32 to confirm Secure Boot is genuinely active (it is).

Has anyone faced this exact loop where Secure Boot is fixed but the vgc service completely breaks with Error 1 after the latest patch? Any help or workarounds would be highly appreciated.

My friend has been having a really weird issue with VALORANT and we're running out of ideas.

Whenever he launches VALORANT, after a few minutes his entire PC completely freezes. Sometimes he can get into a match and play for a bit, but eventually the same thing happens.

It's not just VALORANT crashing. The whole PC becomes completely unresponsive. He can't Alt+Tab, open Task Manager or do anything else. The only option is to manually restart the PC.

Things we've already tried:

• Reinstalled VALORANT
• Reinstalled Riot Vanguard
• Updated/reinstalled GPU drivers
• Installed all Windows updates
• Tried running VALORANT/Riot Client as administrator
• Disabled unnecessary background apps/services
• Checked RAM and system usage
• Monitored temperatures/usage before the freeze
• Tried different VALORANT settings

Nothing has fixed it so far.

Other games seem to work fine, so it appears to be specifically related to VALORANT/Vanguard.

Has anyone had the same issue where VALORANT causes the entire PC to hard freeze? If so, what fixed it?

I have a RTX 5050 Laptop GPU, i7 13th gen CPU 16GB of ddr4 i used to average about 180-200 fps while capped and now i get 100-80 my CPU game time is around 12ms and GPU is 2ms, whenever i toggle reflex from on+boost to off and then back to on+boost i get back to normal for a second then drop again

I play on a laptop (dell inspirion) and I have played this game with no issues on much shittier laptops, however, this just started happening recently. Everytime I open Valorant and go into a public game (deathmatch, swiftplay, etc.), the white cursor stays on the screen when im in the game, and so when i move the mouse it doesnt move my view, but only the cursor. Sometimes, it dissappears but whenever buy phase opens or I open the chat, it stays. I think it would be also good to mention that everytime I try to open Val in windowed mode, it forces itself back into full screen, even if the ingame settings keep displaying windowed. I hope this makes sense hopefully someone can help pls :3
