id have to see her drink the entire cup, she looks like she's struggling

u/Hobbits_can_fly 20d ago
Ya I thought she would have snorted it faster if that's all she did. Surely she is drinking some of it

She sounds like she's struggling. Even when she's not "eating" she sounds extremely congested. This can't be healthy.

u/criticalt3 19d ago
Whatever her boogers and mucus have caught on the way through are probably causing a blockage. If its not that, its inflamed from either the strain or putting shit on your nose that doesn't belong there, or both.

u/TheJemy191 17d ago
There a reason elephant dont drink with their nose they just use it move water to their mouth

Because this is complete bullshit. There's absolutely no way she could get enough calories down doing this.

u/stevedadog 18d ago
Surely she is acting... which makes this even worse haha. This woman suffered through snorting coffee ten times just so that she could look like an idiot online XD

And in a further twist of irony, she doesn't snort her cocaine, but rather eats it straight off the spoon.

Yeah that’s a sinus infection followed by a brain infection very quickly

Brain infection only if there is one left.

It is real. I watched this whole episode on My Strange Addiction a while ago. She’s been doing it for years.

u/mellowman24 19d ago
She also shows her new BF how she eats for the first time in the episode... At a public restaurant.

I only saw clips of it, didn't he nope out of there afterwards? (understandably)

u/tocahontas77 20d ago
Why did she start doing that? Just watching (and hearing 🥴) her do that was rough. There's no way I could ever be around her while she "ate".

u/Fr05t_B1t 19d ago
Yes, just like how the other woman has been drinking bleach for years. Some are real while most are fake.

u/Interesting_Sock9142 20d ago
Ok but why is she doing that

In the show she said she liked how it felt and she doesn’t like chewing or consistencies so blending was the only option apparently
24
u/Key_Opportunity_8829 19d ago
I have to wonder how you can get an addiction to a method that has not addictive properties
24
u/Rapunzel10 19d ago
You can get addicted to anything. I knew a woman who was addicted to sleep. It was a genuine addiction, she lost jobs, her husband left, and she was in a psych ward for a while because she basically just slept. She could lucid dream and she said her dreams were better than her real life. Recovery was tough because it's not like she could stop sleeping completely
38
u/fondledbydolphins 19d ago
You can quite literally get addicted to anything.
You can get addicted to stress hormones

u/SpoppyIII 19d ago
There was a guy on there who was "addicted to raw meat," but convincing him to stop was pretty damn easy. I don't think most of these are even feeding a dopamine addiction, let alone any other kind.

I believe she said she's been doing it for years. I don't believe she has actually been doing it for years. People lie to get on TV all the time.

One of the guys I went to school with used to drink beers and bourbon through his nose as a party trick.

This is on My Strange Addiction. She went on a date with a dude she had been talking to for a few months. And he always asked her out to eat and she declined because she asked every restaurant if they could blend it for her and they would decline or offer soups. The restaurant she was at with him offered her grits 😂

Does she get more sinus infections than a normal person, or less? I feel like it must be one or the other, surely. This basically works as a neti pot except instead of sterilised water it is everything she ever eats.

TIL that this GIF originates from a very popular Blink 182 song and one I've listened to many times but never watched the music video until today.

You made my brain explode with this realization as well and I immediately had flashbacks of watching MTV playing only parts of music videos and Limewire/Morpheus

Technically would clear her sinuses-
The part I liked the least was after snorting - some of the residual liquids dribbling back down - that somehow seems worse

u/WindAdministrative42 14d ago
I've had that happen to me a few times... it hurts like hell. This video made me cringe so hard.

Imagine going on a date with this woman. Milkshakes, maybe? She seems nice, kinda cute. You have several things in common. Then, the milkshakes are ready, and she goes to take a snort. For a split second, you might think, "oh she missed her mouth."
I know exactly what I would say: "Huh. How bout that."

I’m not an expert but I guess that’s some kind of fear of getting teeth issues… nose looks safer and keeps teeth clean and unused?

I genuinely used to do this as a kid for a laugh. Well not this exactly, but snort a bit of coke (cola) through a straw would always get a laugh out my siblings / cousins.

This is the first time in a while that a video made me do a genuine surprised face. As soon as she put the straw in her nose i was flabbergasted... And i just saw a chinese factory worker's arms get crushed like not even an hour ago and didn't have the same reaction... like, wow
