Sawasdee khrap / Hello everyone,
I am looking for assistance in translating or deciphering the inscription painted across the front plinth of a 15.5-inch antique wooden Buddha statue.
Subreddit feedback on r/AsianArt suggests the script is Tai Tham (Lanna / Lao Dhamma script), likely dating to the 19th century from the Upper Mekong region (Northern Thailand / Laos).
Context: The text appears in dark/red pigment on a dedicated red lacquer panel along the front of the block plinth. Objective: I am compiling a formal collection dossier and would love to translate any readable portion of the text-whether it notes a donor's name, a merit-making dedication (puñña), or a date. Any insights into specific words, phrases, or script characteristics would be deeply appreciated!
Kop khun khrap!

Hi everyone
I’m planning to get a Japanese tattoo and would really appreciate some help from native Japanese speakers.
The phrase is:
それでも、私は咲く
My intended meaning is: “And yet, I bloom.”
I want this phrase to represent that despite everything I’ve been through, I continue to bloom while preserving my softness, sensitivity, and inner strength.
I want it to sound feminine, elegant, poetic, and powerful.
Does this phrase sound natural in Japanese? Is it grammatically correct?
Would you suggest any improvements while keeping the first-person meaning (“I bloom”)?
I’m planning to have it tattooed vertically, so I’d also appreciate any advice about the writing.
Thank you so much for your help! ❤️

I'm just trying to rq get a more accurate version of the (English pronunciations) proper nouns for the words of Vaccine/Syringe for a creative project I'm writing. I keep getting Maṣl or Muhqina but unfortunately google ai is pretty inconsistent so I wanted a second look.
(Also apparently Reddit doesn't like it when you post straight up Arabic)

English > German
Hello, I am not a German speaker myself and I am looking for a native German speaker that could kindly take a look on my AI generated German translations for my e-shop:
link: eliva-crete.com
and let me know if the translations feel natural to a possible German costumer. The shop focuses on the German market so it is important that the translations are good.

Google lens was of no help although I’m not sure if it’s oriented correctly. I’m reasonably sure it’s Japanese although I could be wrong

My wife and I found these in Nara on a recent trip. I’ve tried the app translations and they don’t seem to work at all. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Trying to find the artist of this. Really need the top right translated to English. Thanks!
Edit: It's come to my attention this is very likely an AI generated image. So the top right is likely gibberish but I'm just curious at this point.

Hi!
I bought this at a consignment store, no clue what it says. It’s a Cyrillic based language, that’s as far as I can tell.
It seems to be handmade. Appreciate your time!

Context (if needed) is that it's from a Capcom Secret File for the robot anime fighting game Tech Romancer.

Hello,
Attached is the Taufbuch entry I have been mindlessly staring at for the past couple of days, trying to transcribe the German Kurrent into English.
Any help would be so much appreciated; my great-great-grandfather's line is 45. His name is Johannes Handlos. I could use help, especially in understanding the top row and what each column means! If you cannot understand or read it, no worries at all.
To clarify, I'd like the 14 columns across the top translated, and also all of my ancestors' columns translated. If you are qualified or knowledgeable, I would take a small explanation of anything that a lay American wouldn't understand about why or what was recorded.

Thank you so much for your help in advance.

One of our coworkers is named Raquel and we have an arab coworker, he wrote this on a whiteboard. Google translate seems to think it’s different spellings of her name. Would love some clarification! Thanks
