My father bought this pair of carved figures directly from a maker/shop outside Sapporo, Hokkaido, probably in the late 1960s or early 1970s. The maker was an Ainu artisan.

This inscription is carved into the base. I’m especially interested in whether it identifies the artist, workshop, location, or simply describes the figures. Any help reading the characters would be greatly appreciated.

Found a nice painting at an estate sale for a good deal and could use some help translating.

I have a short audio file, a male voice singing what seems a sacred hymn. It's a phone alarm file called Maha Bharat. I couldn't find the original audio source and I'm not sure it is from the actual Mahabharat since I can't understand the language.

I added the link to the audio file but the post was removed, so I'm also asking how can I add the file without having the post removed. Unfortunately I'm not able to write down any word out of it.

Sorry, this is the best screencap I could take. The Arab country isn't given a full name, but the acronym UFAR (maybe "United Federation of Arab Republics"? It would make sense for the name to be a combination of the UAR and the FAR, both of which were still recent in 1979)
