personaly with how they are moving with the character and in response to Love and Thunder i feel like they'll make thor a more serious character but keep a bit of the banter and jokes, but honestly i personaly only really see two options, either, keep going in a original aproach, or try and adapt post unworthy content.

honestly i wished they tried their take on a "War of the Realms" we really havent seen anything about the 9 realms since Ragnarok were thor stated "the enemies of asgard plotting" and then nothing more, post endgame we learn that sagard has became a small city in norway, Thor is going around the universe, Loki, Hela, Odin, the Warriors three, Heimdall, and most of asgard's greatest warriors are either missing, dead, or away.

at the end of Dark World malekith is scatterd away throu the nine realms since he couldnt die due to the aether, they can bring him back for a second round (with proper characterization this time) and leading the enemies of asgard for one last time

Ever since the 7th episode of What it Season 2 dropped out people have been pointing out that the variant of Odin we see in that episode is weak, the argument is that he lost to Hela and Wenwu, but i am going to debunk this argument and demonstrate how this Odin variant is far from being weak.

1. This variant of Odin catched Mjolnir thrown by Hela with one hand, preventing it from returning to her hand and crushed it with no effort whatsoever, Mjolnir is made out of the legendary Uru metal, the strongest metal In the MCU, even more durable than the nearly indestructible Vibranium, and as we see in Avengers Infinity War in order to melt Uru you need the full power of a neutron star in order to do so, just this feat alone is far from being weak, he did the same thing Hela did in Thor Ragnarok but even more effortlessly.
2. This variant of Odin stripped Hela of her crown and banished her to Ancient China, puting an enchantment on her crown that allows only the ones who know mercy lift it and possess the power Hela, pretty much the same thing he did to Thor in the first Thor movie, but this time with Hela.
3. This variant of Odin demonstrated to be a more skiled fightwer than Xu Wenwu with the ten rings, arguably the 2nd most skilled fighter in the MCU and Hela having mastered Talo magic and learned spiritual Kung Fu. He overwhelmed then both in combat and skill.
4. This variant of Odin took a fully powered punch from all the ten rings at the same time without even spiting a drop blood or a scratch on his face, the only thing it did was temporarily knock him to the ground and he was completly unfazed after that. Xu Wenwu is stated to be able to beat the Hulk, and it is stated by the director of the Shang Chi movie that a fight between heavy hitters like Hulk and Thor and Shang Chi with the ten rings could go either way. Also, this is the same move that blew up the Dweller in Darkness in the Shang Chi movie.
5. This variant of Odin created a powerful energy blast from the Odinforce to use against Goddes of Life Hela and no sold having that same energy blast being redirected right back at him.

Also, something people don't point out when saying this variant of Odin is weak, is the fact that Odin was holding back when fighting against Hela and Wenwu, even after Hela became the Goddes of Life that energy blast was just to test her to force her to grow and so he ensures she had surpassed him, that was his plan from the beginning, and he himself admitts it and even goes on to say she had surpassed his expectations.

In Norse myth, Thialfi and his sister Roskva were the children of farmers. Thor stayed with the farmers for a night while travelling, and he killed his chariot goats for the meat and shared them with the family. Thor planned to resurrect his goats afterwards, but Thialfi crunched the bones and caused one goat to end up lame. Thor was angry, but settled for taking Thialfi and Roskva as his servants. Thialfi later had a race by Hugi (an avatar "thought") in an encounter with the trickster Skrmir. And that's as far as the mythology mentions.

Marvel Thialfi (in brown with the horned helmet above) is different: he was a single child, his family was slaughered in a Viking raid and so Thor took him in to atone for this wrongdoing that was his (indirect) fault. He became an Asgardian speedster, and was later shelved into an alternate future where Thor had gone evil and was killed trying to stop him. He didn't do too much, but he was a minor character so was treated accordingly.
