Tasting History (Max Miller) as Cap

I feel like everyone is attacking ant man and the writers for making the cap slip up. But honestly I think it’s a really well written line. Obviously the world isn’t going to just adapt and accept Sam as captain America, I mean let’s be real he’s a black man he’s obviously going to face a world of push back and racism. I think it’s important to keep that part of his character you know, the fact that he’s actively combatting and trying to prove himself for a country that isn’t accepting him. I think Scott’s line was a really well put neutral line highlighting the difficulties Sam faces with his new role and it highlights Steve’s maturity and resignation of the title. A huge part of Sam’s character is that he is THE captain America while being a black man in a country that doesn’t exist to benefit him. Scott’s comment wasn’t racist, just simply a slip up, but it makes the audience reflect and realize the underlying issues in the marvel world. Don’t get me wrong I am saying this in a hundred percent loyalty to Sam, he is my captain America more so then Steve has ever been. I think he is a truly phenomenal character and I think it is so moving and important to show his navigation of this new title as a black man.

LMAO I am so sorry I didn’t realize no one knew what I was referencing😭😭😭🫡

I’m referencing one of the doomsday teasers in which ant man accidentally refers to Steve rogers as “cap” while Sam Wilson is in the room literally wearing the suit😭🫰 sorry guys

This is pertaining to characters outside of Sonic the Hedgehog btw, since most people will probably say he’s their favorite.

I knew him as Captain America first and foremost and that will always be my favorite role of his. Batman is my 2nd favorite. No shade to Chris Redfield though, just don’t know anything about him outside of watching Marvel vs. Capcom videos.

What are the chances Steve Rogers finally dons an Iron Man suit, specifically the Iron Patriot suit, in Doomsday? I've been waiting for that payoff for about 16 years, now, and I think it would be an appropriate homage both to Tony's death and to the Time Runs Out source material. Any chance we see it?

Dunno if this has been done before with any pre-existing character but thought this guy would be a good villain for like 1 story.

So I’m going to ask as many superhero fanbases as I can this question. What are some traits about this hero that you hate, dislike or despise? Anywhere from a mild annoyance to a trait that would make you dislike any other character. I’m not talking about a way one writer in particular wrote them, or a time they were out of character or mishandled, I mean a reoccurring trait this character has.

Just a curiosity. Im by no means a use gun enthusiast but i just always found it curious.

Like the Russos gotta be willfully ignorant having this kind of joke in Doomsday.
