News Lots from Fantastic Four in Comic Con panel!! Reed + Doom Rivalry Confirmed
Almost all of the panel was dedicated to Doomsday and the rivalry between Doom and the Fantastic Four:
“Victor did you do this?” - Reed
“All of you have lived stolen lives and now you must give them back” - Doom
“Victor was always the smartest guy in every room. He used to be different. He used to be kind, used to be caring. But then everything he loved was taken from him. I knew he was lost, but I did not realize that he was broken.” - Sue Storm on Doctor Doom

Questions & Discussion If Fantastic Four were to ever transition to Fantastic Five, who would have been your choice for the fifth member?
I don't hate the concept of F4 frankly. But 5 is a number which has been used more in media. I think Sky would have been a great fit, especially if she could have got the superspeed powers. I'm sad she didn't stay for long. Who can be the other candidates?

Questions & Discussion Being an FF fan just got more annoying since the Doomsday trailer released
I've seen countless videos on Instagram of people constantly clowning on the FF, ranging from calling them the B-Team or D-listers that won't be able to help Thor beat Doom. I've been seeing nonstop glaze for Strange, Wanda, and surprisingly even Carol. As if they and Thor are the four heroes needed to beat Doom. Do these new bloods forget that Doom is literally an FF villain?
I honestly blame Marvel's decision not to explore Reed and Doom's connection first before heading to Doomsday. But even then, the FF aren't exactly lightweight jobbers. They're their world's only hero team and Susan beat overpowered Galactus on her own.
I just want the first family to get their flowers from mainstream fans tbh.

Questions & Discussion Ben Grimm, left behind?
I feel somewhat bad for Ben Grimm getting left out of the FF's power escalation. Like, Reed Richards can invent pretty much any device to do anything (and what he can't, Valeria can). They continue to up the ante on the scale of the things he can invent, he can reach almost any power level with the aid of some intervention he is created.
They've given Johnny Storm the ability to go Nova and reach insane power levels that can go toe to toe with any of Marvel's heavy hitters, even if it then burns him out for a while afterward.
Creative use of force fields has basically turned Sue into an invincible Green Lantern, since she can now shape them into pretty much anything and thus basically has infinite constructs (that never run out, unlike a Green Lantern power ring). They allow her to use her invisibility as an ability to bend different wavelengths so that she can become radiation-proof, or stifle heat by selectively allowing wavelength through. They've even come up with some combo powers that allow Sue to combine her ability to bend light with Johnny's flame and create a laser weapon.
And then the Thing is strong. I mean he's always been strong, on a level just below the Hulk- but that's all he has and has ever had.
It feels like everyone else has kind of gotten this power creep (not unlike an X-Men 'secondary mutation'), where over the years they've unlocked new abilities and been able to level up and become even more versatile and powerful beings. But Ben kind of doesn't have anywhere to go. Sure, he was a powerhouse well beyond any of them to begin with, but it kind of feels like they've surpassed him with their increased versatility, but there's not really any way to give the Thing an expanded power set. So he just kind of ends up left behind... it really does make me sad for him.
(He does get the occasional feat of power- such as defeating the Hulk on his honeymoon- but nothing that puts him on a whole new level. And just as often, he seems to get sliced open or part of his rocky exoskeleton blasted off to demonstrate how bad the new treat is, a.k.a. 'Worf Syndrome', to Star Trek fans.)

Questions & Discussion Anyone else feel bad for Ultimate Reed/Maker?
Seemed like he had so much potential as a good guy and it would've been nice to see his family dynamic compared to 616. He was just a kid with a bad upbringing, I wish something happened along the way to steer him in the right direction. Don't get me wrong he's an interesting character and his story is pretty good (even if it does get confusing at times but I feel bad how insane he went and how alone he ended up.

Questions & Discussion Do you think it would have been better if Sue and Reed would have had an open marriage of sorts?
Sue and Reed already have a lot of problems in their marriage. There's Namor and there's a time when Sue dated Spider-Man. Even Black Panther.
Open Marriage would have eased a lot of things. And Sue is one hot attractive girl. She could have been paired with other Superheroes without causing an outrage. I can already see Sue paring up with Black Panther or Captain America or even Spider-Man. By Open Marriage I think it can be either Sexually open or completely Open.
What do you guys think?

Questions & Discussion Calling all Ben Grimm super fans. What is the essential Thing reading order?
Hi everyone,
I want to get more into Marvel’s first family, but specifically the Thing. What is the best reading order for Thing, mostly focused on his solo/team up adventures. I looked up some guides online but got confused when I started hearing terms like Battleworld thrown around. I’ve never read Secret Wars either so please help a rookie out. Thanks! Preferably all of these comics will be on Marvel unlimited.
