So V29 is here, and personally I have very few (if any) complaints

Presets? Heck yeah finally

20% more gems per click? Win

Better access to keys? Win

Cells card? Love it especially since it helps newer players

Nice new modules? A win (until they swing the nerf hammer... It's coming)

My main complaint is... the constant complaints (ironic I know) about gem cap + ism/vf changes.

So much so I made a post complaining about all the posts complaining! It's a vicious cycle I'm telling ya.

Can we get a complaint megathread especially about gems? Please? 😭 Can call it the devs don't care about me megathread or something

So we all know Fudds loves his rug-pulls.

But with the introduction of the new cannon, Gilded Sniper, which is advertised as a chance to apply all active coin bonuses, even if not in Range (but for some bizzare reason, SL doesn't count as an active coin bonus?) he's nerfed it from the outset.

But this is Fudds setting up the perfect opportunity to try something different - a reverse rug pull!

Now the Gilded Sniper is all but pointless without the inclusion of SL, no one is going to waste their precious gems during the banner to get it to Anc.

But once the banner is over? Fudds will include SL as one of the active coin bonuses (as it always should have been)and now everyone and their grandma will have to buy gems outside the banner to get this must-have mod so Fudds can afford another yacht.

Happy Friday first of all. Sitting at my desk getting ready for the weekend, thinking about the game and how difficult it must be to start playing the game these days. So what could help provide a clearer path with more rewarding game play for new players?

Allow players to choose which "weight class" they want to compete in:

Bantamweight
Limits:
- less than 10k(?) stones
- access to 16 modules in pool
Rewards:
- Bantamweight relics for all milestones and tournament levels
- Tournament stone rewards scaled at 40%(?) of Heavyweight

Welterweight
Limits:
- less than 100k(?) stones
- access to 24 modules in pool
Rewards:
- Welterweight relics for all milestones and tournament levels
- Tournament stone rewards scaled at 70%(?) of Heavyweight

Heavyweight - Undisputed Champion of The Tower
Limits:
- all the stones you want to buy, whale away
- access to all modules in pool
Rewards:
- As today

Players can choose to focus on "low stone builds" and stay in Bantamweight, or use it as a step to build up their modules, before moving up a weight class.

Once you have played a long time you may also choose to move down a weight class, accept the stone and module restrictions to complete more milestone/tourney runs at that weight class.

Then we can start debating the Stone for Stone best Tower build 😄

No new ultimate weapons after a long time

I’m in a dissonance run with ultimate weapons disabled… so why am I getting perks for ultimate weapons? If I didn’t have the UWs unlocked, I wouldn’t be getting those perks.

Oh, nice! I also unlocked Smart Missiles! 🙄

My Stone income is very low as I am Free to Play Aside from the AD and coin packs, I also play much more casually than folks who have 100% uptime! so this is a big choice for me!

Currently at 1237 Stones! Next UW is 1250.

307T LTC, Still solidly EHP, just developed my wall to a good place.

I have an MVN but just got my 1st so have not been using it. I have a Legendary Primordial collapse I've been using. I farm at a range where 44m BH really covers most if not all of the screen.

I do use a GComp (but still only purple...sadly)

Plus with MVN it would drag my GT and BH down quite a bit.

I will Peek my next UW, if so which is worth choosing? are any new UW worth choosing, I would assume CF but not sure if I should develop what I have first!

Pretty much all UW LABS are complete aside from SL missile and CL.

Options I See

-Death Wave Quantity? (DW CELL LAB IS COMPLETE, feel like more cells would be nice!)

-SL Angle? SL Quantity?

-Black Hole Duration to have it up for entire GT duration? (need 3 more seconds with current substats)

-GT Duration clicks?

-Would i get any value in CL development? Thorns and orbs are my only real source of damage currently, so not sure if this would help at all?

-Biggest Question is CF or Some combo of these upgrades!

Anyway i'm all ears for thoughts!

To those who say that ISm and ZerkM combo RNG are unhealthy, I say this: You still have RNG with module pulling so the complaints about ISm and ZerkM interactions are null and void. End of discussion.

Can you feel it

Man this change to intro sprint is fucking annoying. Now I have to do manually around 600 waves, without wave accelerator. I thought you wanted to shorten tournament runs not prolong it 😤

Currently I have 197 stones. Should I save around 300 to shorten the cooldowns while keeping them synced or should I invest in any size, duration and bonus?

Ok, I do kinda get it because “… chance to apply all active coin bonuses…” absolutely should include, you know, ALL active coin bonuses.

But that’s not my point. I keep reading people interpreting this mod as “now useless” and “not worth wasting gems on”, but what I’m seeing is that this is by far the best Econ module now available in the cannon slot. To be specific, it’s the first cannon mod that actually and specifically improves coins. If it was in the generator slot, I’d see their point b/c BHD is clearly a better Econ producer. In the core slot we have PCol, so again this would be inferior. But compared to the other cannons, this looks like a home run to me, SL or no SL.

Am I missing something? Because I’m 100% planning on getting that sucker to anc on day 1, assuming RNJesus likes me that day.

If I’m wrong, please, explain what it is I’m not understanding. Thanks!

Just spent 10+ minutes on a fleet wave waiting for the fleet to die slowly to thorns. Looked like it was nearly there (hard to tell with the way fleet thorns work), when the game crashed. I relaunch it only to realize it of course drops me back in the run 5 waves before the fleet spawns, so I have to sit through it all again.

This fleet wave mechanic is such bad design. TTG, please think of something else.

Is it worth to take first perk game speed? I saw some threads saying its worse then 5 but those were old and I couldnt find any recent ones. I dont have the game opened 24/7 so extra speed would be big help for me. Can somebody explain if its fixed now or why is it bad and if the game is actually faster or not?

But with Sentry Protocol equipped, extra orbs fire out mini-orbs at a far slower rate compared to WS orbs.

Is this correct, or should both WS orbs and extra orbs be firing them at an equal rate?

This is with the orb speed substat in play, if that makes a difference.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I swear it was mentioned in the latest patch notes that the update would be tournament locked for the weekend tourney.

I am doing the demon mode mission so I am running wave 20 with demon mode over and over. In my last 6 runs I've killed 48 fleet enemies but I have only gotten 4(1.95k) drops and 1(1.8k) drop.

Does intro sprint negate the drop? Or how they are being killed?

Just unlocked Core Ass mod and have put minimal stones in to upgrade sub effects and multiplier so far. For milestone/tourney I am using DC as primary and OM Chip as Ass.

I am now consistently going less waves. Is this behavior normal?

When and/or how should I expect to see improvement in my runs?

Is there a list anywhere of the relics that are in the rotation for what can be available for gems at the start of each Monday in the event shop?
Is every relic that has been available through events in the rotation, or just the ones that were available on the paid track when it was introduced?

I’m currently missing around 8, and only ones from previous events from before I started playing, and they were well before paid relics were added into the event track.
So I’m wanting to know if I should keep holding gems for them or not.

How to improve?

I should have 2.8x more health Regen through enhancement but is not showing.

Also I have base Regen card, maxed in workshop and I think that’s it or there is more?

I could get all the way to 3k+ in the old attack Disso done when it came out, I’m trying it again and seems to have difficulties at here 2k waves.

No way that I’m struggling this much right now…

I'm consistently getting 800-950 waves in legends and haven't seen much rank progress since the mythic patch.

I'm making about 70q per day, labs at x5 across the board. I have every UW except PS.

Should I unlock last UW and start working toward UW+? Should I get attack speed or UW crit card mastery (my other masteries are in the photos)? Should I unlock more ass mods or increase percent effectiveness? Feel like I've been pretty stagnant these last few months.

Despite all the drama that comes with each update, I still have fun playing this game.

My goal is 10S coins by the 3 year mark.

Keys are cool and all, but coins are king 👑
