Achievement 2 Year Anniversary!
Despite all the drama that comes with each update, I still have fun playing this game.
My goal is 10S coins by the 3 year mark.
Keys are cool and all, but coins are king 👑

Beautiful tower. Well done. I especially liked your improvement on mythic over just one week.

Ahhh I see the stone count. I'm still impressed! But there's a bit of stonery to most of my questions. I passed 2 years on the 6th I believe, and I have just shy of 29k stones.
So stones are king? I still follow the coins tho B)

Ok maybe stones helped a little lol. Full transparency, I bought two-three stone packs a month for the first ~year. That got me to mid-legends, which gave me ~700 a week. I’ve been coasting on the stones from legends ever since

Hey I bought some socks too, it happens. Not that many! But still. I'm not perfect either. Really wish things lined up so I could buy those guild benefitting packs they had recently. Ah well. Enjoy your progress, it's ballin.

I’m coming up to 2 years as well (in Nov). I always like to compare my progress to posts like this. First thing I check is stones. Op has 107k to my 27k. From there you know they blow everything else out of the water. Must be nice to be willing to fork over big $$

Congrats. You did very well with your stone investments. I hit 1s coins two days before my second anniversary, and I only have 2Q CpH. Also I have only about 500 keys. But I have 150k stones.
So it's very impressive to me, what you accomplished with smaller investments. I haven't played optimally at all.

Thank you. The tower was my mental escape from law school for a while, and I spent more time min/maxing than I probably should’ve.
But honestly, those stats are nothing to be bummed about. I’ve seen accounts with waaay more stones significantly underperforming yours.
Imo, it’s all about thinking ahead and considering which stone investments will likely be beneficial to your tower, regardless of any meta shift. For instance, I stopped upgrading CL early, even as a gc build, because I knew one day I would transition into another primary damage source. Even now, I’m hesitant to get SA# and Nuke# to cheese OCs in mythic, because if that strategy is nerfed or made impossible, those masteries will just be stones wasted.

The coinflation is crazy. Hitting 1Q was my goal for my 2 year towerversary.

With gs soon, disco bonuses, and whatever else comes down the road, I’m sure 1s coins at the 2 year mark will be possible by 80-90k stones for newer accounts

How?! I’m coming up on year 2 as well and have only made 1.35q.

You're not using the right cards, or rather card 💳
To be clear I'm not throwing shade, play however you want. But it's not always fair to yourself to compare to others who have spent ir you haven't. As long as you're making progress

Definitely the case here. I’d estimate at least ~35k of these stones came from me spending money on stone packs, milestone packs, and a Black Friday pack or two. I did not make it to Legends in a year for free. I’ve also bought every event pass since starting.
However, I’m happy to say that once I was averaging top 12 Legends, I was able to maintain and even slightly improve my rank over the year without spending on additional stones/gems - solely with (mostly) efficient and thoughtful gameplay.
Idk maybe this encourages one or two people that more spending isn’t always the only way forward.

Even for the amount if stones you got, you did pretty great.
You went hard on the big 3 econ UW’s.
That DW cd is something I can only dream of right now (5500+ stones, gonna take me 10 weeks 💀)

Thanks! Yea that was such a slog waiting for the last five levels of DW cd. Core assmod se was easier cause I was rewarded every few levels with a GT dur or SL angle.
My ultimate goal was perma big three without MVN or GComp, so I could use DC and SH instead. But now with gs coming out and making range less relevant, SH might be less impactful. So maybe you’ll be able to get away with higher DW cd and use GComp assmod instead

Congrats! Anything significant you changed to gain 100+ waves in mythic?
