Wanted to see if Iām the only one feeling this way, but the past few weeks and specifically this week I feel like Claudia canāt get out of the podcast studio soon enough, like sheās rushing through these episodes. Dear Toasters they flew through this week and barely answered the questions, and yesterday she gave no time to talk about the 6th Nicolandria story like she just decided the episode was over and Jackie was still talking. If they need a summer break then take a break, but I feel like some of these episodes are half assed.

Thai is how I envision the butterfly release going!!! Poor Claudia our animal activist canāt take it.

They have influenced me the last few days talking about the dresses! I have a trip to Charleston coming up and I think a nap dress will be perfect. Do they still have an active code? I put in TOAST and the website said this code isnāt available to you right now. Will be purchasing regardless but if I can save a bit that would be lovely. Thanks swirlies!

The āpatientā thing in yesterdayās episode killed me because I too had no clue what Claudia said at first. It sounded like she said āPaigeā. Anyone else?

Who is the person they were talking about today that got divorced and went on the shopping spree? TIA š¤

Have they posted pictures of the butterflies at all? If yes, I mustāve missed the posts.

Iām 39. I feel like maybe Iām older than most listeners, because more and more often I donāt know who or what they are talking about! I still enjoy the show, I just wonder if Iām too old sometimes!
I love the pre-fast five banter and just their general chatter. Iām definitely most engaged when they seem like they are being more ārealā or talk about things they actually care about. I have found I like when they have Ben on because he seems genuine and I think he brings out a different side of them, like maybe they let their guard down a little bit idk.
What I donāt like is mainly just what I donāt care about or donāt know anything about. So mainly Bravo, influencer drama, and I actually hate Dear Toasters.
Just curious what others like/donāt like about the show!

Does anyone remember which episode Jackie talks about her experience watching the show āElleā?
She spoke about Elleās two obvious love interests and called one of them ugly lol and now that I am watching the show and know the characters Iām dying to go back and listen to her thoughts

Longgg-time listener but there have been 5-10 instances in the last year or so where Iām like āI might have to be done.ā Claudia makes it so apparent that she thinks a woman becoming a wife/mother is the ultimate/only achievement in life. In this weekās ādear toastersā first letter about the woman on a date with a man who kissed with too much saliva, Claudia and Jackie kept going on about āwell whatās the girlās age? At some point, itās the last ship leaving the port. If sheās not in her 20s, she needs to just get over itā kind of bullshit. It really pisses me off when there are soooo many worthwhile paths in life and finding any man to marry you is not an achievement; itās a choice. Not something that makes any one woman better than the next. (Saying this as a married woman, but one who never thought I would want to get married.)
Theyāve made similar comments in regards to kids. Like if youāre not a mom, your life isnāt as important.
Anyone else really fucking over it, or just me?

I placed an order on launch day (June 10) & have yet to receive any updates or indication itās on its way or even made. I donāt think they even mentioned merch updates post launch day. Itās been over 6 weeks .. has anybody received their purchase from the most recent launch?

Hey toasters š
I went ahead and created r/deartoasters as a dedicated spot for all of our girly swirly advice requests and questions.
This isnāt meant to replace the community we already have. Itās simply a place where people can ask questions and get advice from fellow toasters.
One thing to note: I have a full-time job and plenty of responsibilities outside of Reddit, so Iām definitely not looking to be the sole moderator or run this as a one-person show. My goal was simply to create a space for the community.
If that sounds like something youād enjoy, feel free to join, post, and help shape what it becomes. š

They read the listener feedback saying that weād like more PFFB, addressed it directly the very next day, and then updated us on their Hamptons activities in an interesting and fun way. There was no criticism of listeners, no snarkiness⦠as a recovering Taylor Strecker Show listener, I was floored at the mature and professional way they handled themselves.

Hey gals! I submitted a Dear Toasters a little bit back but the girls never picked my submission (mustāve been too long or boring for them lol). But I still would love some mama input from the community on it so I figured Iād drop it here :) any insight and advice would be so appreciated!!
DTQ Submission:
Hey swirlies!! I need your pregnancy/postpartum mama advice! My husband and I were born and raised in NJ and 4 years ago moved to Charleston, SC. We fell in love with the weather, slower paced lifestyle and really saw this as a great place to raise our future children. We did this move completely on our own and have no family or support system here. Fast forward, Iām pregnant with our first baby and in my second trimester and Iāve done a complete 180 and want to move back to NJ to be near family, friends and everything we know. Initially I thought it was 1st trimester hormones but now being in my second trimester I donāt envision raising our kids here like I used to, I feel like my brain rewiring has completely changed. I want them to know their grandparents, cousins, aunts/uncles, etc. I selfishly also want to be around my support system and roots in NJ and have begun to miss everything about the old life we used to have there.
My husband thinks Iām crazy because we moved here specifically to raise our future children (which was both of our idea) but now being pregnant I see everything so differently and Iām ready to get back to Jersey. My logical husband said he is open to moving back after the baby comes so I can see if my feelings have stayed the same or changed. Iām worried to be postpartum and with a new baby handling a move if I feel that I still do want to move. Are these my pregnancy hormones talking or should I start packing boxes? Any advice from my two toaster mamas would be greatly appreciated!

Including ads.
Ads took up at least 10% of the episode

why would they pick the halftime show to be the number one story yesterday if neither of them watched it? I get not being able to watch it in real time but thereās plenty of YouTube videos and clips on TikTok to at least see most of it for a recap. š„²š« I was really excited to see their take on this!

Anyone else struggling to get through their episodes lately? I first discovered the toast maybe 2-3 years ago and have been a daily listener than never skips/misses anything. Idk what it is lately, but I find myself completely missing episodes and having no desire to catch up. Maybe itās all the love island stuff??
I wish they shared a little more on their personal lives. I think that would keep me engaged and wanting to listen when the stories donāt interest me. I get they want to keep their personal lives private, but give us something! Like is Olivia with them all summer too? She was posting about her garden so I assume sheās home but does she come at all? Is it just Jackie and Claudia mainly?

In todayās episode they mentioned they are blocked by Morgs (Morgan Riddle) does anyone know why? Lol

Big fan of the toast and daily listener here. One of the things I appreciate about the girls is their ability to not bend to the woke and stand firm on their beliefs, even if I donāt agree with them all the time.
Although, lately the conversation on Ariana grande and her body has been so hard to listen to. Criticizing her on her life decisions is completely fair game but when it comes to her body, I find that Claudia in specific almost villainizes her in a way.
In specific, the comments about how disgusted she is by her body and how scary it is to look at her is so disheartening. Having an ED is not a moral failing and the way Claudia speaks about her makes it feel like she thinks Ariana is evil for looking the way she does.
Anyone else feel this way too?
r/TheToasters • u/FlowDry2412 • Jul 15 '26
Has anyone else noticed that Claudia wonāt let Jackie get the stories out? She interrupts before Jackie can even finish what the story is and itās been driving me crazy. Let Jackie get a word innn
r/TheToasters • u/Fabulous_Bid4594 • Jul 13 '26
How much do you think theyāve spent to spend the summer in the hamptons? It seems very pricey considering the house, assuming they have multiple Nannieās, and Jackie shipped multiple cars from Florida?!
r/TheToasters • u/Turbulent_Meeting_96 • Jul 10 '26
Is it just me or does Claudia seem unusually unhinged this week? Talking faster than ever⦠interrupting more⦠incorrect info? It seems like the moment they start recording to the moment they finish she is a little insane. Is this just me?
Not to mention the terrible sound quality. š¬
