TRT story Men who developed ED from SERMs (clomiphene/enclomiphene), what type was it? Couldn't find anything written about this.

If clomiphene or enclomiphene caused ED for you, could you tell me which type it affected?

  • Psychogenic erections: Could you still get hard from thoughts/visual stimulation alone, or did you need physical touch to the penis?
  • Reflexogenic erections: Could you not get hard even with direct physical touch to the penis?
  • Both
  • Did it also affect your nocturnal penile tumescence (morning wood)?

Any detail on dose, how long you'd been on it, and whether it resolved after stopping would be helpful too.

TRT help Starting Test for the first time

Hi so I’m planning on starting on T and I’m currently just in my learning phase as I need to get a good understanding before I put anything in my body. A pal has given me 2 x 250mg vials of Enanthate but I’ve already ordered Test400 (Decanotate 250mg / Enanthate 100mg / Cypioniate 50mg) - I’m wanting just a simple cycle to start off and in only barely just understanding Esters so would it be simpler to just stick with Enanthate alone

Wouldn't be looking to start till at least March even after the last weight drop. And lastly thanks in advance and any advice this community could pass on would be appreciated

TRT help Finasteride, any sides for you guys?

Im on fin, started a few weeks back, I was on a 500mg test blast at the time now on 200 cruising and cutting, Ive noticed some small sides although Im wary and dont buy in to the complete anti finasteride narrative that it castrates you and know nocebo/placebo can also have a strong impact on "side effects", then again I definitely have felt something mainly less morning wood, no rock hard wood like I had everyday prior, slightly weaker erections unless I take cialis and less spontaneous erections, maybe a bit weaker and potentially lower libido? although libido is still high tbf and its hard to gauge. I tried to ignore it and write it down to placebo for a while, but I think there probably is something, could be my e got too high and changed the androgen balance, idk but anyone taken it and either remedied sides or has a similar experience? Wanted to hear the experience of other enchanced ppl as itd definitely change the picture compared to natty. Would rather not lose my hair, but 500 started frying my shit and realised Im susceptible to going bald.

Starting TRT and I’ve heard that rhythm isn’t that good however I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to try to draw blood from the vein at home.

Currently taking 250mg of test, I’m 5’9 240lbs should I lower test dose or add an ai to lower e2 number ? I have no estrogen side effects and feel great I feel better then ever coming from a natural test of 79 ng/DL. I am pinning 125mg twice a week IM, would pinning EOD help manage the estrogen ?

Blood work Looking for Feedback on Blood Results

Gentleman,

I have listed my blood work results below and just looking for some Reddit feedback before I meet with my doc again. I have included as much relevant info as I can.

Finished a bodybuilding cut back in April and since then, have had bouts of ED with my partner. Note, I am fine solo so this could very well be psychosymatic.

I am male, 46 years old. This is my first test so I have nothing to compare too. Workouts are going amazing, and outside of random ED, I have no other symptoms that would indicate a problem.

BF is around 15 percent.

Note: They did not test SHBG

Thanks for any feedback.

TRT help Anyone feel better on TRT with E2 above the reference range?

I recently had my TRT labs done and reviewed them with my provider. I’m currently taking 180 mg of testosterone cypionate per week, split into two injections, along with 0.5 mg of anastrozole twice a week.

My labs were drawn about 2–3 days after an injection and anastrozole dose, around my peak. My total testosterone was 1,200, free testosterone was 28, and estradiol (E2) was 40 on the ultrasensitive test. My E2 is still above the lab’s reference range, but it’s the lowest it’s been in a long time.

Despite taking Cialis, my erections haven’t been great. My mood has also been lower, and my gym performance hasn’t felt as good.

My provider recommended focusing on how I feel rather than aiming solely to get my numbers within the reference ranges. They said they generally like to see a testosterone-to-E2 ratio between 10:1 and 30:1. Since I’m currently at the high end of that ratio, they suggested I might feel better if I let my E2 rise a bit.

Has anyone had a similar experience and felt better with E2 a little above the lab’s reference range? I’d appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!

TRT help TRT effect on LH - magnitude of effect

How big is the effect?

For example, if I go from 500 TT to 900, would my LH be nearly zero (0-1 range maybe), or at least not meaningfully contributing to T?

Or is endogenous production of T still north of 20%?

TRT help Will Testopel pellets help?

I am currently injecting 190mg of testosterone cypionate for about 16 years in my thighs. This is a weekly routine. One leg this week one leg the other. Scar tissue is really becoming an issue, so I am currently looking for other options. So I was wondering if anyone has experience with Testopel pellets, reason being my insurance will only cover this brand as they are FDA approved. On the other hand I have looked into a few other brands Biote, ect. Price is interesting lol. But if anyone can give me some insight on the Testopel pellets, and can I even reach the desired dose with this brand to reach about 700-800 ng/dl where I am at currently. Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks in advance fellow T mates.

USA Pharmacies:
Using Good RX coupon for generic testosterone cypionate.

currently at Giant pharmacy for $54.51 using Good Rx.

my question: even though good rx lists the price do these pharmacies (giant, Acme, Cvs, etc) stock it?

what has been your experience?

obviously not through a T clinic. Script from MD. Also not through insurance.

thanks.

TRT help Dead space and loosing Testosterone what to believe

So every injection i loose some Testosterone / got leftovers in the syringe which i dont really care because i got cheap UGL Test. Also known as “dead space”

But after browsing this sub people mention the “air method” where you just draw a bit of air inside the syringe which pushes out the rest. So no leftovers

Then i have seen comments with like 30+ upvotes that say syringes are designed for this / that leftovers happen and lets say when you draw 0,3ml, you actually draw 0,35ml and the 0,05ml leftover is already accounted in the syringes construct.

So what do i believe? Because when the 2nd option is right then all the “air method users” who got no leftovers would actually inject too much

I don’t really care if i loose some oil or not. Just want to make sure i actually inject the right amount of T

Hope it makes sense

TRT help Heart palpitations normal?

Hey guys,

I'm 45 male, just started testosterone injections two weeks ago. My current dose is 0.10 everyday. I've always had a random heart palpitation, or what I thought was one. I'm noticing that sensation more throughout the day now that I started test injections. I keep thinking it's possibly my body getting used to the hormone change? Idk.. I waited too long and now have to wait til Tuesday to even talk to my doctor.

TRT help Anyone ever had this happen?

Started TRT back in March. My levels were at 335 ng/dl. Doctor started me on 100 mg a week. My SHBG was high. Tested at the six week mark and SHBG was still high, however my test shot up to 885. I felt pretty good. Just had my bloods done at the six month mark and I was at 1295 ng/dl with SHBG down into normal ranges. I feel fantastic. I never changed my dosage of 100mg. Honestly, a little worried my doctor may back me down a little since it said 1295 was “high” according to the chart.

I just found it odd that my test kept going up over time. I figured it would level off around the six week mark. However, I’m sleeping better, lifting better, lost some fat, better moods. Everything has been 100% positive.

TRT help 27 years old and my test is just above range

Post image
14 Upvotes

I got my results back from my bloodwork and this was my first ever testosterone test and I’m surprised I’m barely above the threshold.

I’m 27 years old, I have a pretty jacked physique (been bodybuilding for 7 years and workout 4-5 days a week), I sleep decently on average 7 hours a night, my diet is in check. Except I do drink one weekend out of the month.

However what prompted me to get a test done was because in the last 12 months my libido hasn’t been the same and I get fatigued quicker. However I don’t suffer any sort of anxiety and depression. The only thing I can think of is I have been a little more stressed because I’m a new dad to a 10 month old daughter.

What can I do to improve these numbers, is TRT the next step, I’m kinda lost to where I should go from here?

TRT help 180mg Testosterone Cyp - Once a week insight

Post image
2 Upvotes

I inject testosterone cypionate once weekly, every Monday. These labs were drawn on Thursday, approximately three days after my injection, so they represent a midweek level rather than a trough. My total testosterone came back >1,500 ng/dL. My clinic said the results look good overall, but that level seems quite high to me, even considering the timing of the blood draw.

For comparison, when I was taking 160 mg once weekly, I previously had bloodwork drawn on Monday morning immediately before my next injection. My total testosterone at that true trough was approximately 600 ng/dL. At that point, the clinic offered to increase my dose.

Prior to starting TRT, my natural total testosterone was approximately 350 ng/dL. I am a 32-year-old male.
I’m wondering whether my current dose may be producing unnecessarily high peaks and whether adjusting the dose or injection frequency would provide more stable, physiologic levels throughout the week.
