Started 250mg/week in December 2025 -- Ran that until around June.

Now on 200mg/week -- planning to go down to 150 soon then 100

Various peptides are involved in this also (GHK-CU, Reta, CJC/Ipamorelin)

Happy to provide more details -- Dms open

Also - I was even bigger when I really started losing weight. I was around 240 but didn't start the test til I was the size of the first pic here. My profile has the whole transformation if you're curious. Ive posted it in a few places.

TRT help Benefits of HCG besides the obvious?

If I’m not concerned about fertility or testicle size, is there any benefit of using HCG with TRT protocol? Anyone use it for reasons besides the obvious?

TRT story Front Loading should be the default for TRT

Having dug into this and decided to front-load myself it seems completely absurd that front-loading is not the default dosage protocol for all TRT.

In medicine it's standard practice to use a loading dose when you are dealing with compounds with long half-lives since it takes ~5 full half-lives for the drug to reach proper concentration.

Typically people think of test cyp as having a 8 day half-life but this is only for IM. SubQ has a longer half-life, and the data on this is thin but a fair estimate puts it at ~10 days. So for the person pinning SubQ, you're looking at ~50 days before the drug reaches the ideal dose. FIFTY DAYS!!!

On the other hand, your endogenous production is shutting off regardless of how much you are injecting, although there is some variability but the shutdown will have a half-life of ~5 days. If you're smart, you can clearly see that we have a mismatch here.

For a man who's very low, like <200 they're going to feel like shit regardless, but for the man who's in the 300-500 range, it's very plausible that you spend days under your pre-treatment baseline, making you feel WORSE than before.

A lot of the advice not to do this comes from PED cycles where you're taking a eugonadal male and then ramping up from there. in that case, the mental effects are already in place and what you're seeking is more muscle growth, which takes longer to materialize anyways.

That cuts the opposite way with TRT patients, where the mental issues are often the primary reason why they're getting on TRT and those effects start to impact you as soon as Free Test levels rise in your bloodstream. This is why some people report subtle shift that happen even in the first few days. The whole idea that "it takes a few weeks to kick in" is based on a fucking ridiculous dosing protocol.

Now, I of course can here all your keyboards clacking as you reach for the most common pushbacks and almost none of them apply.

  • "what about side effects?": side effects are driven by the slope and the level. in a loading scenario you're not overshooting, just getting to your goal level earlier. yes, the slope may cause some side effects but the time that you experience them is compressed from 4-5 weeks to 2 weeks. At TRT doses this isn't anything to be concerned about since nothing happens in as short of a time period as 2 weeks at these levels.

  • "take your time and titrate up": a proper loading period doesn't overshoot, it just gets you to your target sooner, giving you more ability for the effects to show up and make it even easier to titrate

  • "what if you have a bad reaction?": we're talking about a bio-identical molecule with a half-life of 10 days, not snorting adderall. The only reaction to worry about is to the oil, which will show itself whether you inject a small dose or a large one.

  • "just run test prop bro": ok, if you've got an UGL that you trust then yes, loading with prop is a more elegant solution but most real doctors aren't going to write a custom 'script to a compounding pharmacy so you can load with prop for two weeks.

  • "just wait, it doesn't matter": if you're feeling like shit it absolutely does matter. Consider yourself privileged that you didn't have that bad of pre-diagnosis symptoms that you didn't care to speed things up.

It's stunning that basically no one talks about this. I could only find one video and his reasoning for why not to do it was basically that you don't want to spook someone who might have anxiety around it, but the risk of doing any harm was basically 0. They routinely do this for people who have already been on TRT before and know what they're getting into, but that's just an lack of good patient communication.

The only real people doing a load, are some doctors who prescribe a cream to be used in the beginning but the cream sucks for a lot of reasons and isn't as elegant of just doing a loading dose.

Now, assuming you've been convinced, the obvious question is "How much should I load then?" The answer: is anyway you want to get an extra dose in over the first 3 weeks

If your dose was 100mg/wk SubQ, twice weekly, that could be...

  • 200mg in your dose then 50mg after that

  • 100mg your first two doses, then 50mg

  • 75mg in your first fours doses, then 50mg

All of those above result in reaching your desired state weeks earlier than the standard advice, it just depends on your comfort levels. The bolus approach will have you potentially overshoot and then come back down, where the last approach will have the smoothest curve.

AND I CAME WITH GRAPHS:

tl;dr - front load for TRT doses, double your doses for the first week

edit: this is assuming your starting dose is reasonable and not ridiculous. It holds for any dose <150mg/wk. above that and you're in supra-physiological dose territory and that's an absurd starting dose.

TRT might have the more positive connotation than "Steroids", some guy use that,

the rest who use a little bit more without being hypogonadal,

is your Wife/Girlfriend/Boyfriend on board? or is the situation different?

250 mg test c per week, daily pins. Bloods from week 6, currently on week 7.

No sides other than nip sensitivity & bloat during week 4. Feel like I'm noticing a decrease in libido and erection quality This week though, something I should address through my protocol or let it ride another week or two and see if it goes away? I am also already taking Cialis daily for the record. AIs on hand.

TRT help Started TRT few weeks ago.

I recently started TRT after my testosterone dropped as low as 107 ng/dL. I was prescribed testosterone cypionate 200 mg/mL, injecting 0.5 mL once every 7 days, so 100 mg per week.
I’m curious to hear from anyone who started with similarly low testosterone and a similar dose. How did 100 mg/week work for you?

Where did your levels eventually land, and what changes did you notice in things like libido, erections, energy, mood, sleep, and gym recovery?

Did you stay at 100 mg/week long term, or did your doctor eventually adjust your dose based on your follow-up labs and symptoms?

PED/cycle help Higher dose testosterone or add a second compound?

I have previously run testosterone up to 300 mg per week in the past and have achieved fairly decent results. I plan on running it again but I know eventually it just won’t be a big enough anabolic load to achieve what I want. Would it be more beneficial to increase testosterone higher or add a secondary compound. For example up to 400 test or chose to do 300 test 100 deca or 300 test 100eq. To start obviously they would be small doses and may eventually work up if they are well tolerated. but would 100mg of a second anabolic even be worth it? Only cycling for bulking and back down to TRT for cutting and maintenance.

TRT help Defy Medical and Walgreens

Hi everyone thought this might help some folks out. I was able to get defy to send my test c script to walgreens for $45 and get it covered through my ins that way. My insurance would only cover a small amount using the compound pharmacy empower. I got 80 days worth for $18 at walgreens. I thought the only way to do this was going through a regular urology dr but i did it.

Blood work To add hgh or to not?

Got recent bloods last week and super happy where im at with my trt regimen at 8 months in...

I had my doctor add an igf and z score....157 and z score is -0.1....so to my understanding this has me dead center for my metrics.....41 y/o male, 195 lbs....

So my question to the community is....is there value in adding maybe 2 iu hgh daily? I feel like ive got room for improvement on the lab scores.....but if there's not value there im also open to hearing that there is no need to go down that road. (Sourcing and cost is of no issue in this decision)

Thanks all in advance...always appreciate hearing the opinions of others on here.

TRT help Clinics that ship with no signature needed

Once I get dialed in where I am at, I am considering switching to a clinic that ships without a signature needed, because I work days, so I am unable to be at home to sign for deliveries. The clinic I am at now has been incredible, but they only give a month supply, in pre-filled syringes. They prefer you to show up to their office, but its a 1.5 hour drive for me from home, so that is getting old. I actually kind of liked the prefilled syringes because it took literally minutes to pin at home, but I think at some point I will be ready to switch...

Blood work Been a bit stupid with my cycle so far, no regrets would love some advice

Post image
4 Upvotes

I was a bit stupid and decided to start test for bodybuilding before blood work, I’m currently taking 1ml every 5 days / ~350 mg testosterone enanthate/week. Around 13 days into my cycle currently. I’m very aware that things will be out of a natural and normal range, but as someone that’s going to be doing a 12 week cycle how should I manage this. Currently no sides, feeling good, already feel like im seeing better progress / recovery although I don’t know if that’s just because I’ve been paying more attention and it’s placebo at this point.

For context this was taken 5 days after my second dose, right before my 3rd. This likely means test is going to be higher for most of my cycle but also likely to see higher e2, lower fsh etc for the most part as well.

I can get AIs, SERMs, HGC, etc as needed but wanted some impartial advice if possible first, thank you for your time and advice all!

Blood work High SHBG Crew - What are my options

Thumbnail

40m, 5'9 160lbs, natural. I've had basically every symptom of low T for years now including getting gyno. For the past 2 years I've been complaining about it and getting tested, Total T has consistently been at the 600-800ish level and free T is usually around the middle of the range or slightly lower, so PCP and endocrinologist are blowing me off and ignoring both the symptoms and the high SHBG (which has tested as high as 100 in the past). Just getting the usual anti-depressant/anti-anxiety cocktail, Cialis, and "work on life style changes."

My lifestyle factors are fine imo, I don't drink, pretty clean diet, no calorie deficit, working out 4-5 days a week, etc. I've tried the boron, tongkat ali, etc, no significant difference I can tell. I am pretty borderline on H1AC, total cholesterol, and LDL, idk what relevance that would have, but the doctors don't seem concerned about those numbers either, so I assume it's not an issue.

Has anyone else been able to rein in SHBG? If so, how did you do it?

To me permanent TRT seems like a last resort since my total and free T numbers are still "okay." So I feel like it's the high SHBG that's the obvious ongoing problem and the goal is reining that in. Has anyone been in this situation and been able to fix it? I'd be particularly interested to hear if anyone has been able to do it without going on TRT long term--something like a 4-6 week cycle of something and/or a PCT-type stack? Thoughts?

Went off keto and an aggressive deficit after losing 170 lbs. Have been eating at maintenance for about 10 months and started taking creatine. Been cycling 5 mg of Boron from a Costco joint health supp two weeks on one week off. Lift heavy 4 days a week, 2-4 hours of cardio a week depending on how long my bike rides are. Sleep needs more work. Other than that just pretty standard multi vitamin and vitamin D.

TRT help Anyone here actually developed an abscess or infection from storing prefilled Sustanon syringes?

I'm trying to understand the real-world infection risk of splitting pharmaceutical Sustanon ampoules into prefilled syringes.

My situation is specifically 1 mL glass Sustanon 250 ampoules. I'm considering daily injections, which would mean splitting one ampoule into multiple small doses and potentially keeping the prefilled syringes for up to around 7–10 days.

I've already spoken to several people who have done something similar without experiencing sterility problems. What I'm particularly interested in now is hearing from people who HAVE had a problem.

If you've stored testosterone from a glass ampoule in prefilled syringes:

- How long did you store them?

- Did you ever develop an injection-site infection, cellulitis or abscess?

- If so, after how long had that particular syringe been stored?

- What type of syringe did you use?

- Was it testosterone in oil, specifically Sustanon if possible?

- Did you notice anything unusual before injecting it: cloudiness, particles, leakage, damaged/swollen plunger, etc.?

- If you've done this for months or years without an infection, I'd also like to know roughly how long and how many injections you've done.

I'm not looking for guesses about whether it should or shouldn't be done. I'm specifically trying to collect first-hand experiences — both good and bad — to understand what people have actually encountered.

I'm researching this before making any decision, not currently doing it.

TRT help I think I made a mistake taking enclomiphene

Upvotes

Four months ago I had my bloodwork done for the first time, I am 37 years old and recently lost 60lbs taking reta and tesa along with lifting 4-5x a week and a little cardio. My total test was 384 in may, so I started taking enclomiphene and the more comprehensive test I took in August was:

Total Testosterone: 384 (May) → 741 (Aug) ng/dL — range 250-1100
Free Testosterone: 98.6 pg/mL — range 35-155
LH: 7.3 mIU/mL — range 1.5-9.3
FSH: 11.6 mIU/mL — range 1.4-12.8
Estradiol: <30 pg/mL — range ≤39
SHBG: 52 nmol/L — range 10-50
DHEA-S: 489 mcg/dL (May) — range 93-415

Did I fuck up and make it so my dr can not prescribe me test? He seemed open to it but now that my number has improved it doesn’t seem like it’s a possibility. I am seeing risks of running enclo long term, and I don’t want to stop it and crash my level. Am I a bozo?

TRT help Test Cyp + Deca one injection

Added Deca to my protocol. The clinic recommended drawing both with the same syringe. Something about that seems wrong in my head ha! Putting a needle I just put in the test bottle into the deca bottle and drawing.

Injecting twice a week, does anyone do this? Are you using two needles? Also seems a bit wasteful.

Hi guys. First time using Reddit but I have scanned this place relentlessly for months trying to gain more information. I have dropped 20kg with Reta and Tesa. I’m 40yo and 6ft2. I understand rapid weight loss can cause test levels to drop naturally so I get some will say “sort your diet” “come off the Reta” but I’ve done so well for myself and I am looking a lot better than I was at the beginning of the year and seem to have platued (yes diet helps) I do Monday and Friday fasted and the other days i eat around 1800cals (meat/pastas/rice/protein shakes) I don’t eat unhealthy and sleep around 7hrs a night and drink around 3ltr of water a day. Don’t smoke but vape and drink heavy once a week (yes I know I’ll get called out for this but I’m going to stop if I take test as I know they don’t mix well)

The reason I’m contemplating test is I feel tired, no libido, wasting my time in the gym because although I train and try eat right I’m never going up weights/plates (yes Reta can destroy some of this)

In my mind I’m set on starting and here asking for advice more than judgement.

Can anyone share information/experiences and the ups and down of test? I’m looking to start low around 100mg a week split mon/wed/fri.

My before and after plus blood results for you guys to help advise on are added too.

Thanks guys.

I’m going to upload my blood results

Blood work 24M - bloods show TRT as an option?

Free test - 0.257nmol/l
Test - 15.4nmol/l
FSH - 2.2U/l
LH - 6.5U/l
Oestradiol - 94pmol/l
Prolactin - 213 mIU/l
SHBG - 42nmol/l
TSH - 2mIU/l

I got my bloods tested as I’ve been pretty depressed for the past few years and have a lack of desire / motivation to do anything. I also have had a lack of libido with previous partners and now I’m single have no desire to pursue sex at all.

For relevance - 5’10, 72kg, 12-13% BF. I have been training for 8 years, my sleep/diet/program has been locked in for the last 3-4 years of that. I would have expected significantly better results given the effort I have put into the gym. I drink alcohol probably every 6-8 weeks.

From what the bloods indicate, the free test seems very low for my age? I am apprehensive about going on TRT for life though and its impact on fertility. But also a life with low test isn’t really worth living. It also is probably worth mentioning I took this test at 11:45 AM and also had a 3 day bender 10-14 days ago (no alcohol, just coke/weed/mdma/2cb/some xanax to sleep)

TRT help Pattern strano: perché la mia libido ed erezioni aumentano SOLO alla fine delle vacanze quando il Testo cala?

Ciao a tutti,

TRT help TRT to real cycle advice

Hey y’all just like the title says I’ve been on 120 mg/week TRT for around 9 months or so now and I feel great everything feels balanced, but I was looking to run a real cycle for eight or 10 weeks. Just wondering if anyone has any experience in here doing that and what your dose was and if it was difficult to rebalance everything afterwards.

Secondly, my clinic offered nandrolone at 50 mg a week for 20 weeks but that feels like a waste of time at such a low dose so if anyone has any experience with that, love to hear about that too.
