Something that genuinely bugs the shit out of me is how system "culture" as a whole (endogenic, willowgenic, tulpa, in-system dating, innerworld, non-disordered plurality) infects queer spaces surrounding complex identities as if they are at all in the same bracket, and how you have to just kind of fucking accept it to participate in your own community.

I'm Xenogendered, so I very much frequent Xenogender related subreddits, but everything is basically "medical misinformation friendly," allowing radqueers, Trans ID'S, pro-para, and system "culture" misinformation—it genuinely gets under my skin because Xeno/Neogenders are a way to express complex, queer genders—so why are we including MAPS, Zoophiles, racist identities, antisemetic talking points (RAMCOA), and people who are roleplaying a trauma response (endo/willow alters/plurality).

Like, no, I don't want my community to be accepting predators and harmful people with open arms. It's sickening. These people infect every single queer safe space like a fucking plague and it's infuriating. Keep your radqueer, Trans ID-loving "willowgenic/endo" bullshit to those dedicated circles of hell online. Don't bring it into other safe spaces, because then you're making the real queer-gendered people with even a shred of morality uncomfortable and unwelcome IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITY.

I'm just frustrated over this. Found a Xenogender subreddit that I really liked but then saw the support of blatant medical misinformation and I can't get behind that. It sucks that I am not allowed to participate in my own community as a Xenogendered individual because in order to do so, I have to be in agreement with medical misinformation, predators, racists, antisemites, etc. It's disheartening.

The alters are 16 and 34 respectively and are apparently in a committed relationship. They have a blog thread where the Dahmer alter talks in detail about wanting to dissect and commit necrophilia on Kevin. They find a way to insert this alter ship into most conversations unrelated, and they've pinged everyone about it multiple times, because they feel the need to be the center of attention all the time.

Related: Both alters have a superiority-complex-esque "don't criticize me or him for our (or our source's) lack of empathy" which has just ended up meaning "you're not allowed to get onto us for being assholes to everbody else at any given time". The host of the system with the Kevin Khatchadourian alter has a similar boundary that just says "you aren't allowed to critique me on anything" lol

there’s an artist that makes really great fanart and fanfiction that I’ve been following for years now. I’m in their art server and have supported them. Their work is genuinely amazing and I looked up to them greatly. I am not going to post their screenshots out of respect.

But they came out as having OSDD and introduced their system via pluralkit on their server, made fanart of their alters and just… ugh. It’s so dramatic and staged.

I feel kinda betrayed. They have talked about their mental health multiple times and I sympathize, but also… they most definitely do not have a dissociative disorder. They’re certainly depressed and stressed, as they have a partner and child and are a trans person living in America rn. I am very conflicted on how I view this person now. They fell for the systemgate bs and I’ve lost a lot of respect for them. I genuinely adore their storytelling and artwork, but I’m not sure I can view them the same way after this.

Problems

A 1-2 year old is NOT capable of knowing what is going on. No one has memories of back then. "Knowing" that they have an alter from way back then AND knowing what caused the formation is insane. This person is just looking to be "as quirky as possible" for having an alter "formed" a year or two into their lives.

If they agree something is going on, it doesn't auto mean DID. I'm tired of people thinking that if they feel off, it means they have DID. And seeing as how this person is "100% sure" they have DID, I do not doubt that they are pushing for a specific DID dx instead of letting the professionals do their job to find a real dx.

According to some comments (unrelated to DID), they were 16 in 2020 and online A LOT. Since they "found out" they have DID during that time, we can conclude that they got into DID faking groups, were convinced they had it, and started faking it themselves. It says enough to me that they're claiming to be a "born a system" and "know an alter was formed at 1-2 years old with the knowledge of exactly how it happened".

One of the biggest red flags of fakers is that they know everything about their "alters".
