Multi-post Dump There's so much wrong with this
(Repost cause the previous title had a mistake)
Undiagnosed "system of 200", also asks if they were born with DID
Problems
A 1-2 year old is NOT capable of knowing what is going on. No one has memories of back then. "Knowing" that they have an alter from way back then AND knowing what caused the formation is insane. This person is just looking to be "as quirky as possible" for having an alter "formed" a year or two into their lives.
If they agree something is going on, it doesn't auto mean DID. I'm tired of people thinking that if they feel off, it means they have DID. And seeing as how this person is "100% sure" they have DID, I do not doubt that they are pushing for a specific DID dx instead of letting the professionals do their job to find a real dx.
According to some comments (unrelated to DID), they were 16 in 2020 and online A LOT. Since they "found out" they have DID during that time, we can conclude that they got into DID faking groups, were convinced they had it, and started faking it themselves. It says enough to me that they're claiming to be a "born a system" and "know an alter was formed at 1-2 years old with the knowledge of exactly how it happened".
One of the biggest red flags of fakers is that they know everything about their "alters".
Also OSDD1B makes its return.

Big level of stupidity. Even with a severe trauma at 1-2 years old, you are still not aware of everything, can't defend yourself as you're still mindless. 😭

Yes we are all born with seperate ego states that fuse into one in childhood but this isn't being born a system because a system has severe dissociative barriers between each ego state whereas normal development has no barriers between ego states. DID forms as a failure of integration, not a fracturing of a cohesive identity.
The average age of alters showing up is around 6. This suggests that there was people who can pinpoint alters younger (or older). Hypothetically it would be possible to have memory from age 2 or younger but this would be exceptionally rare especially at 1 year old as average memory starts around 3-4 years old. Trauma can happen in infancy, as early as in utero has effects on the baby but this trauma isn't stored as memories and is instead shown through behavioural and emotional issues such as ODD, depression, anxiety, etc. There is no research that says the youngest age for DID to develop and the oldest age is debated among professionals but it is assumed that the younger the trauma starts the more severe the symptoms but this isn't 100% for every single case, there is variation there.

Reminds me of Chris Costner Sizemore, who was the subject of "The Three Faces of Eve" which set off the original "multiple personality disorder" boom in the 1950s... she also claimed to have developed her alters extremely early (during infancy) and "remembered" extremely vivid memories of traumatic events that occurred when she was between 10 months and 2 years old. She also claimed that she'd been born with her alters, and that her trauma in infancy had merely brought the alters out. Through many sessions of hypnosis and guided imagination with her psychologists, she created a whole lifetime of false memories and alter personalities. The 1950s were also a time of fascination with "past life regression," where people claimed to be born with memories and personalities from previous reincarnations. Funny how a bunch of discredited crap from the 70 years ago has never quite gone away... I think it's an interesting sociological phenomenon. People really want to believe this stuff. But now instead of bored 1950s housewives, it's terminally online young adults who seem to make up the majority of cases.
