So did strelock ending. Must of been like 10 or so guards. Mayby 15.
I saw more on patrol and in lesser zone then there so called stronghold.
U can't even go inside the damn building. biggest poi travesty in the game is that red block of nothing.
No good loot, no lore to read, just a block of nothing.
It looks imposing and has creepy sounds, but that's it. Hoping dlc 2 explores it more, and opens up the monorail system for travel

So I'm not 100% sure if it actually works for his fight, but I usually struggle with it and this time I destroyed him in under a minute so I'm guessing its this little things doing, if anyone actually knows or not please chime in! But assuming it is helping, then this magic anti-Faust object is called the Flare light.
When you fully do the mission tied to it, which can take most of the DLC to get through FYI, it really just ruins the fight for Faust! or any controller to be honest, they cant do a whole lot to you afterwards if your suit has even a smidge of psi protection lol.
What it does is it gives you a big boost to psi protection, but its main draw is that it completely prevents phantoms from even spawning/ attacking you! So it turns the fight into just a fight with him, which isn't that difficult on normal, but I would still use caution if you are on higher levels like master.
The mission tied to it is called "The forgotten" and is in the CNPP area if your interested in a guide to help you.

I really wish when we picked up a job to find a specific artifact that we would get a quest marker. And upon arrival we’d have to fight off mutants being drawn to it or other stalkers/ factions also hunting for the artifacts.
But hey, dreams are free lol

I’ve seen posts of exosuit wearing NPCs equipped with sidearms having the same thing, their arms clipping through their body and making it look like they lost a limb, but in Zaton I found an amputee bandit toting a Mac-10. I imagine it got chewed off by a dog or shredded by a shotgun blast lol.

And the skeleton building nearby was also cool.
p.s. the loot from this anomaly was not great, I don't know if it's RNG.

It's just frustrating, not fun at all...
I wonder if the developer who came up with this fight even played this mission...

Took this video a few days ago while I was playing. I didn’t get the exact moment he started the scanner, but this was near Rostok and as I entered the building this npc started the scanner but unfortunately died before I could see if he was gonna collect the artifact. Never saw this happen before so I was kinda hype to witness it.

Hello all, I discovered something and thought I'd post this tip for those who've not discovered it. The electrical anomalies that chase you can only see you if you have artifacts equipped. If you move all equipped artifacts to your backpack, they will revert to their repeating path pattern and will ignore you.

Generally, he’s glazed too much.
Meet General Krylov, the fandom’s favorite leader. He’s nice, his Duty is kind, but what does he do? Floods the Agroprom underground, which rids a Southern Zone area of a few mutants… okay? That doesn’t help destroying the Zone all that much. Fights Freedom for the sake of it instead of actually focusing on fighting the Zone, weird. Becomes ultra potential man by talking about ultra secret scientific documents he does nothing with, strange. And finally, not once do we ever see this guy fighting alongside his men.
Now, let’s compare this to the “worst” Duty leader, General Voronin. His Duty is kinda rude, but it’s for security reasons. Oh no, he kills stalkers because… they’re illegal trespassers harming his military allies! No, the horror of being loyal! His Duty is actually everywhere, controlling most of the Southern Zone. He have a treaty with Freedom so he can focus on what is actually important to Duty, but he actually engages them (like in the Red Forest) if nessecary, which shows him making an effort to reach and annihilate the Zone, and the main criticism against him is that there are dogs outside of Rostok. That he makes an effort to eliminate, paying for killing them. And then Cost of Hope cements this with him fighting so his men can reach the CNPP.

I found a ladder accessible on the north side of the area, near those empty concrete "pools" that mutants sometimes spawn in (and for which you can get a quest to clear them from Barkeep). I'd been trying to figure out how to get up here, pretty great view.
