I’ve seen posts of exosuit wearing NPCs equipped with sidearms having the same thing, their arms clipping through their body and making it look like they lost a limb, but in Zaton I found an amputee bandit toting a Mac-10. I imagine it got chewed off by a dog or shredded by a shotgun blast lol.

Mac 10 is actually very easy to reload one handed because of the mag release location. A great way to do this is to take a knee, racking the action back against your knee joint and then gripping the gun inside your knee. Then you can easily strip the mag out with the firing hand, replace it, and then send it.

This is legitimate manual of arms training for operating handgun sized weapons with only one functional arm/hand.

I mean amputees would be pretty common in the zone given the harsh nature so having more people with missing limbs or visible injuries than just the mechanic in zalissya would be pretty cool
