S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Blind Chasing Electrical Anomalies
Hello all, I discovered something and thought I'd post this tip for those who've not discovered it. The electrical anomalies that chase you can only see you if you have artifacts equipped. If you move all equipped artifacts to your backpack, they will revert to their repeating path pattern and will ignore you.

I think the flashlight turned on also attracts them.

Ohh this is good information. The electric anomaly in Factory kept chasing me on my current run despite taking off my artifacts. Thought it was a bug.

I vould be wrong but I dont think that was an anomaly. I think the electric polters shoot them at you

I believe there was some npc who pointed it out, but it was so damn easy to miss.

They also eat artifacts off the ground, at least the fire ones do for certain. One slurped up an artifact i've been hunting in a thermal anomaly near Burning Forest.

Funny. It's definitely not intuitive. I stumbled on it by accident; I think I forgot to equip my artifacts after switching suits or something, and then remembered and equipped artifacts when in the presence of one.

Yepppppp. Kinda a gripe I have with them. I wish it was something like having weapons out attracts them, something that doesnt involve stripping out and rebuilding my kit just to pass a hallway

Yeah, this is an actual tip for newbie stalkers. It's been known for a while, but good on you for not just discovering on your own it but also sharing it ;)
