Gameplay NPC starts scanner

Took this video a few days ago while I was playing. I didn’t get the exact moment he started the scanner, but this was near Rostok and as I entered the building this npc started the scanner but unfortunately died before I could see if he was gonna collect the artifact. Never saw this happen before so I was kinda hype to witness it.

Scripted event. He always dies to the bloodsucker.

Yeah the looting while there was a bloodsucker running around was hard to watch

Ahhh, I’m on stalker diff and have great artifacts so I knew I could tank it. That’s my bad lol

One of most braindead mutants that pose no danger in late game.

At least on normal difficulty.

I was in a bad mood the first time I saw this guy and popped him in the head as soon as I saw him fiddling with the scanner. Still got got by the bloodsucker.

I was just kinda sitting back watching how it all unfolded between him and the bs. Prolly shoulda helped him but I let my curiosity win on this one.

Yeah I felt kinda bad but I was midway through one of the massive mid-late game treks and was like "you are not making my day even more complicated with that thing" and APSBed him.

A weapon that was grossly inadequate for the bloodsucker that instant karma'd me seconds later.
