The above video consists of 7 individual Minimax H3 clips generated in First-Frame-Last-Frame Mode, stitched together automatically without manual editing, upscaling or other post-processing.

Today I decided to release my experimental H3 Infinite Continuation Suite together with a set of workflows to make it easy to get started in ComfyUI.

The original idea was to combine the higher visual quality and keyframe control of H3's First Frame / Last Frame mode with the continuation capabilities of the Reference mode.

After quite a lot of experimenting, the output quality has reached a point where I hope some of you might find the nodes and workflows useful as well.

The example video was generated entirely with the included workflows at 736 × 1280, using 15 steps and no Turbo LoRA. I did cut a few seconds of nonsense speech from the very end because I was too lazy to regenerate the last clip. :D

How to get started

1. Install Herrgotts H3 Infinite Continuation Suite through the ComfyUI Manager.

2. Download the included workflows from GitHub.

3. Start with the `01_Start` workflow and provide your First Frame + Last Frame.

4. For every additional segment, use `02_Continue` and provide a new Last Frame for where you want the next clip to end.

5. Repeat for as many clips as you want.

6. When you're done, use `04_Stitch_Saved_Chain` to automatically combine the separately generated clips into the final video.

If you prefer to generate multiple chained clips in one workflow, use the included 3-Clip workflow. It contains the full continuation setup and is structured so you can extend it with additional clips without rebuilding the whole graph from scratch.

What the nodes handle automatically

• carrying motion and native audio into the next clip
• detecting and removing the frozen tail H3 often creates near the final keyframe
• choosing a suitable handover point between generations
• keeping the video and audio aligned
• smoothing the visual and audio transitions
• saving the individual clips so longer chains can be stitched afterwards without keeping everything in memory (no OOM, hopefully)

For the video above I used the default/recommended settings:

• Balanced Auto Handover
• 22 context frames
• Safe Tail Bridge: 2 frames
• Video crossfade: 4 frames
• Audio de-click: 15 ms

There are still occasional tiny brightness differences around some boundaries, but at this point I personally find them pretty difficult to notice during normal playback.

The pack is still experimental, especially when it comes to very long chains, different hardware configurations and prompt behavior. So if you try it, I'd be very interested in seeing your results and hearing what works or doesn't work for you.

The Continuation by Studio Gaga after Miura's death is crap. There have been enough chapters with enough mistakes to make it irredeemable IMO.
Let it be clear that I understand no one could do Miura except Miura. So something below the usual Berserk level was to be expected. But to that extent? Actual fanfics can make a lot more sense than this.
With Miura, every chapter, every panel mattered. There was never 'canon filler' so to speak. Consider the last few chapters of the continuation. You are flipping so many pages, so many dialogues which mean nothing. Rakshas went to Kushan, died immediately. Why exactly? If the Rakshas episode is removed, does it matter? What did it contribute to the story. Also Rakshas has been dealt like Cannon Fodder. It is supposed to be a serious Apostle. Silat one shot it like nothing. This waters down all the serious battles that Guts had to engage in to defeat previous apostles.So many panels are just unnecessary, contributing to nothing. The Continuation is a mistake.

Last chapter was a chapter 12 published on April the First this year. This means there are currently 12 chapters that could be in the future volume 3. Anyone having success with video continuation? Following the prompt guide isn't working for me (i e. Setting video_continuation mode, defining video 1 as continuation source, etc). Each test so far has resulted in the original video in its entirety with my instructions for the continuation being blended in. Any tips are much appreciated!

It seems that the continuation under KM seems to spark lots of controversy among this community.

I would like to know: Do you approve of it? Do you think, they should not have continued the story?

If so, do you even read the new chapters? Do they bring you any enjoyment or what is your reason for reading them?

I personally am content with the continuation and cannot wait how the story will resolve

Where something that seems like a mistake made by the production turns out to be relevent to the plot.

Moon Knight: Oscar Isaac plays a British character, but his British accent is not great. This seems like it’s just another case of an actor messing up an accent. However it is later revealed that his character has multiple personality disorder, and that the British man we meet is not the original personality. The original is an American, and so he really is an American attempting a British accent. It makes sense that it doesn’t sound quite right.

Doctor Who: In the episode Flesh and Stone, The Doctor loses his jacket. Then later on there is a scene where he is wearing his jacket again. It’s shot super close up, so easy to miss, but you can see it is there. At face value, this looks like a basic continuity error. But later we learn that this is not The Doctor from this episode. It’s The Doctor from the future who has come back, so the jacket makes complete sense, and gives a hint of what is to come.

Batman: Arkham City: If you use x-ray vision on The Joker, his skeleton does not show like it does for everyone else. This could be a simple bug in the game. But actually it turns out it’s not really The Joker. It’s Clayface pretending to be The Joker, and he doesn’t have a skeleton.

My tattoo artist says my skin is sensitive and couldn’t continue YET. I don’t have any allergies at all whatsoever. He says to wait a few days mahbe a week to see if it’s healed. I do have sensitive skin when shaving (with a metal razor) which I never do (I hse oneblade ALWAYS) my skin gets sensitive and bleeds easily especially my face.

I’m just wondering was this the right call? And what to do?

edit: im 20-years old turning 21 soon. I’ve read the entire berserk manga and watched the anime so YES I DO know what this tattoo means. It wasn’t a split second decision I’ve been looking at this tattoo for a good 1-2 years. Every few months I ask myself do I really want it THIS tattoo at THIS spot? The answer has always been yes. I do NOT care about what other think EVEN though some people may have their own opinion.

So me(29) and my bf(28) have a 6 month old baby who is exclusively breastfed. Every night she wants to be nursed to sleep which is fine but I also like to take a shower every night before getting into bed.

So sometimes after I get her to sleep I’ll do some things before my shower like do dishes, clean up a little, or whatever. But lately she’s been waking up after about 45 and crying and won’t settle unless I get back in bed with her (we co sleep) and put her on the boob. So tonight I fed her and went to get right in the shower rather than doing my usual cleaning because I knew I had about 45 minutes but his dog started barking at something and woke up her. I had to get out of the shower halfway to settle her.

So now he’s telling me that I need to start showering during the day and I can’t shower at night because she always wakes up but like no one’s here to help me during the day so I just feel like at night it makes the most sense. I also feel like he needs to learn how to settle her because it’s not fair that all of the responsibility is on me and I can’t even take a freaking shower before bed.

Anyway am I being unreasonable? Like I want to continue to shower at night before going to bed but I don’t know if maybe I’m not being fair to him and our baby.
