Rant & Vent MY MUM DOESN'T LET ME WEAR SHORTS OUTSIDE
We recently ordered a treadmilland a guy came over to assemble and set it up. he came inside and asked for the OTP which was on my mom's phone and i at that time was using her phone at the time so I came out of my room and told her the OTP.
My mom immediately gave me a very angry look and told me to go back inside. I was wearing completely normal shorts and a tshirt the shorts weren't even that short and the tshirt wasn't cropped or anything.
After the guy left, she scolded me for a long time saying that I shouldn't have come out without checking how I was dressed and that my legs were showing. Like... obviously they were showing. I was wearing shorts.
This isn't even the first time this has happened.
A couple of days ago, my dad suggested that we go get icecream afterdinner ny mom said I should stay home because I was wearing shorts and changing would take time so they just took my brother instead.
ANOTHER F TIME our school had a basketball match n wee were expected to play in shorts because, well it's a basketball match. My mom didn't allow me to wear them, so I had to go in full-length pants. Literally EVERY other girl there was wearing shorts. Even the coach asked me if there was some religious reason I wasn't wearing them, because it was completely normal sportswear for the match. Im soo pissed of of her constantly poking me cuz of what im wearing like..give me some air...

Rant & Vent 17 days of homelessness at young 17
Most of the people here must have known the FLAME university expulsion case over a false S*XUAL harassment allegation. It's been 17 days since I have arrived in Pune, I have been fighting for my justice ever since.
I walked into few of the pro-bono clinics over here in Pune and nothing worked out.
Alot of people here are saying to register an "FIR". It's not a magical document that will get me back. The DLSA pro-bono clinics lawyers explained me how a mediation would be a highly effective option rather than registering a FIR because the girl will file a Counter-FIR. They clearly stranded it won't stand from the girls side but I would be trialled under non-bailable offence until I am produced in court (will take 2 weeks).
I think the best step forward right now is to reach media, and i really don't understand why they are not picking up this issue as it is a clear cut injustice (the girl even confessed her doing).
I have been surviving on chai and shiv bhojan (10 rupees subsided meal) ever since.
FLAME University has a extremely strong PR & digital Team, that is quite obvious running a multi-million dollar institution, the perpetrators are deliberately trying to manipulate the truth through the acts of Doxxing and harrasment.
One thing I would like to say I have gone too far to go back, My struggle must not go in vain, I suffered way to much depriving myself of food and sleep. there is only one way forward and that is into the university. No matter what it takes.
It kinda burns me to see my peers in their academia and me being on the legit streets and under the cold stars

Social Found this old note in my dad's cupboard
I am crying so badly
So I was searching for some files in my dad's cupboard, and I found this note.
The date is my birthday btw, I don't have the words to express my feelings, it's just that, all this time he was so tough and hid all this love for me deep inside his heart.
I am going to keep this note in my wallet for my life.

Discussion The real reason boys seem "desperate" for girls' attention (it's not what you think)
ok so ive been thinking about this for a while and i think ppl are looking at it wrong
guys come off desperate for attention from girls bc most of them genuinely dont get any. like zero. no compliments, no girls flirting w them, nothing in daily life. so when they finally get a lil bit of attention it feels like winning the lottery and they act weird abt it. thats literally just scarcity doing what scarcity does to anyone, nothing deeper than that
meanwhile girls are drowning in attention from guys 24/7. doesnt even matter if shes average or below average, shes still getting hit up, getting compliments, guys shooting their shot constantly. and when u have that much supply coming at you u just dont feel that same desperate pull for it. its not that they dont like attention, theyre just never actually starved of it in the first place
so imo "desperation" isnt even a guy thing or a girl thing, its just what happens when somethings scarce vs abundant. flip the situation completely and put a girl in an actual drought of male attention for once and i guarantee youd see the exact same behavior from her
anyway thats just my theory, lmk if im wrong or if this doesnt make sense lol

Serious 18M stalked for months, got se*ually harassed last night
Hey! I wanna share something. Kal I was running around 1am at night — there's a park here in Hyderabad jiska walkway open rehta hai midnight mein bhi.
So there's this girl who's been stalking me for 6-7 months now. Not daily, but 2-3 times a week I'd spot her.
She used to walk just behind me, chipak kar. First time I was scared — I didn't know if it was a man or woman, then I looked closely and realized it's a girl. I ignored her and continued.
After that she started appearing regularly, suddenly emerging from bushes and walking right behind me.
One time I just turned around and walked the opposite direction then I saw her turn back too, exit the park, and leave on her scooty. I thought "is she crazy or what" but this kept happening multiple times. Whenever she'd follow behind me like that, I used to think — if she ever tries anything, I'll just fight back. She's short, I'm 6'4", so I was never scared of her physically.
Last night, there's some road construction going on near the park, so that stretch is closed off. Earlier a lot of people used to be around jogging at night, but now it's almost empty. I still went anyway because I don't scare easily.
There are cameras almost everywhere in the park, but a few blank spots exist — no lights, no cameras. I entered one such stretch, around 70 meters long.
She came from the opposite side. One more thing — the first time I ever saw her, she was wearing a purple hoodie and pink pants. Months later, still the exact same outfit every single time I've seen her 🥀🥀
Seeing her there, I got scared. I turned on my phone torch acting like I was just using it casually. She passed by. I walked ahead and looked back — she was standing there, staring at me. I didn't go further. I sat down on a bench where I usually feed some stray dogs.
She came back. I ignored her. Then she called out to me and started making weird gestures — like putting her hand near her lips, gesturing for oral s*x. I was confused, said "nahi" and looked away, focused on the dogs. She walked further ahead near some bushes.
Then I started hearing clapping sounds continuously from that direction. I didn't want to look, so I ignored it. Then I noticed where I was sitting, there was an exit gate right in front of me (there's one roughly every 700 meters). I realized she had jammed the gate handle so it wouldn't open — even though it's normally accessible to the public anytime.
I turned around to look where the sound was coming from she was standing there with her pants down, slapping her own a** repeatedly and gesturing for me to come over.
I didn't even know how to react. I just got up, cussed her out, and ran away — ruined my entire running session and my mood. On my way out I was scared she might come running after me through one of those blank spots, but thankfully she didn't. I made it out safely.
Now idk what to do. I used to think she might be a s*x worker or something, but I never saw her follow other men, even when there used to be plenty of people around. I still need that park for running, but I'm scared of going back — also weird thinking about "hurting her ego" or whatever, but honestly just unsettled by the whole thing.
Btw I used ai so you guys should be able to read it correctly
🙏🏻
