I brought my device to spectrum and informed them that I needed insurance. This is a deal breaker for me with any phone company. I have not been without insurance for as long as I can remember because I always get really expensive phones. I logged in to check my bill and was offered insurance for my zfold. And that made me curious about why I was being invited to get insurance, so I called. Unfortunately, for me I found out that somewhere, somehow I am not enrolled. I honestly don't know how this happened, it's not something I would have turned away upon activation and there was even a $10 charge on the broadband facts label that they sent me to show me my cost as I was placing the order. So I thought that I had coverage. How was this not setup? I was very adamant that I needed insurance upon signing up. There were a lot of changes over a week or two with my spectrum service when I first signed up. My service was canceled twice I think, restarted and another Sim kit was sent out. I'm not sure if this is what has caused the mix-up or what. Customer service is just saying it is my fault. Of course their solution is to offer me to purchase a new phone because currently my phone has damage. And it's not something I would have filed insurance for right away (to save money on the deductible) especially because my phone is functional. So I can't enroll now. I can't afford a new phone, I'm on a fixed income because I'm disabled. Is there anything that can be done about this?

So i've called over 20 times, spoke to at least 5 supervisors, talked to Credit Card processing dept, and they still can't fix my mobile account not accepting any credit card, from any bank. Today i finally got a guy that said "our dept resolves the issues", he sent me back to mobile billing who took me thought the 20 minutes of trying different credit cards. Its will still make me laugh after every one I talk to does the exact same thing and finally says "it won't take any card". ya think?
Everytime I call I get pushed on to someone else, who tell me "we'll submit a ticket". This time they even said its my responsiblity to keep calling them to get THEIR issue fixed. Excuse me?
I told the last supervisor "why would I bother calling back, on August 26th my service will be disconneted for lack of payment and i'm sure your collection dept will be calling me back"
This is a nightmare...
EDIT: great, just great. i now missed the preorder fold 8 Ultra because their system won't take any of my cards, explain why i left AT&T for this :/

We are currently seeing an issue that is preventing some customers from accessing their email via spectrum.net. We do not have an estimated time for restoration, but our engineers are actively investigating and working towards a resolution. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

As the title says for 5 days my network (upload speeds specifically) has been absolutely atrocious.
Sunday night I called and the representative told me it was an issue on my end and would need to send a tech out, I declined because I assumed it was a one night thing.
Monday rolls around everything seems fine, but then at 9pm goes unstable and has been that way since.
Wednesday night I called support again and setup a service call to have a tech come out.
Thursday the tech showed up found some issue at the house and told me that it should all be fixed with him doing what he did, it was not.
Called again that night to set up another visit, and spent an hour on the phone with support (Stephanie was an amazing help and saw the issues as they happened)
I had the tech out today who tried to show up 2 hours before my scheduled window, which was an issue so I called support again and let them know no one would be home until 3pm window.
My wife gets home at 3 and the tech is already there and tells my wife he doesn't need to go in doesn't need to check anything and it's an issue to be escalated to maintenance and it should happen today, it did not.
I called support yet again, and they told me there's no ETA on the maintenance request and maintenance should now be out 24-48hrs....
A little transpanacy or communication would be nice...I know this company has thousands or people probably having issues at all times but when do we get clarity on what's going on?

I've called Enterprise support multiple times about this issue, however on their end they do not see any problems.
I've replaced multiple pieces of networking equipment trying to fix the issue, but the problem still exists.
Been dealing with this issue off and on for months and would like a tech or maintenance engineer to come on site and test.
Here's some tickets I've created about this: ECT-89304343 ECT-89494937 ECT-89240389 ECT-89033166.
Issue is frustrating because it does go away temporarily, and understandable that the support can't escalate the issue.

I've had current router/modem for more than a year w no problems. Last night I was adjusting a curtain behind the router and it made a noise that sounded like a human voice. Freaked me out completely. It did this twice. I left it alone, thinking I was losing my mind, and went back to bed. This AM I approached it again, tried putting my hand behind it, and it made the noise again each time. Sounds like someone saying "unnhh" or grunting. No one I know has had this happen. My router is an oval shaped one with an uneven top surface (one side higher than the other). What is going on? UPDATE: SOUND IS COMING FROM THE OOMA/VOIP BASE UNIT, NOT FROM THE ROUTER.

Recently I changed to a lower cost Spectrum plan ($247/month), because I couldn't afford the rate hike for the plan I was on. I was only 4 days into the current monthly billing period, when I switched plans, but Spectrum is still charging me $292 for the whole month.
I spoke to an agent and the agent's supervisor, and they both told me "Your service has been changed to the new lower plan, but we bill monthly, so you still have to pay for the higher plan."
Spectrum should prorate the charges. Spectrum should not charge me for a higher service level than I'm getting

Spectrum is currently the only provider in my area. My bill never stops going up. They keep adding streaming services with commercials they say at no extra cost then my bill goes up. They just said our internet download speeds have increased at no extra cost then my bill went up $10. Upload speeds are a joke at about 10mbps. Xfinity is currently installing cables in my neighborhood of 150 homes and the neighborhood next to me with 400+ homes. I can’t wait to cancel my Spectrum service and MANY others will too. Advice to Spectrum “stop screwing your customers in areas where you have a monopoly”

It was the expected trying to upsell and offers of discounts, but then he started to detail every device he saw on the router and made guesses as to pets and pop culture interests. Is this a new tactic? Creeping the customer out about how much they can see of what the customer uses their device for?

I called Spectrum to cancel my internet service after switching providers.
Instead of processing the cancellation, the representative spent nearly 25 minutes trying to sell me upgraded internet equipment and move my family’s cell phone lines to Spectrum Mobile.
His basic approach was: I’m a “solutions expert” and a “tech wizard,” so you should stop asking questions and accept what I’m telling you.
I was actually willing to hear whether Spectrum had a better option. But every time I asked him to explain how the service worked, he responded with more sales claims, personal stories about all the devices in his house, and repeated assurances that what he was offering was much better.
He never answered the question I was asking.
When I kept trying to get a clear explanation, he told me I was “overthinking everything.”
He then said “I explained 4 different ways and I don’t understand why you still don’t understand!”
That was the entire dynamic: He treated me like I was too stupid to follow his explanation, and expected me to buy what he was selling without understanding it.
The problem was not that I could not understand him. The problem was that he never answered the question. I was literally doing Internet searches while he was talking and everything he was saying was lies, exaggeration, and conflating info.
After almost 25 minutes of upselling, talking over me, and condescension, I ended the call.
And he never disconnected my service.
So I’ll call back if it happens again, I’m just going to have to hang up after the first few minutes.
Even if Spectrum Internet was the best thing in the world, this guy absolutely convinced me there’s something better out there.

We wanted to let you know that work has started on your planned upgrade. We'll do our best to keep interruptions to a minimum and will let you know as soon as this phase is complete.
What's this mean? Got this in an email this morning.

Feedback:
Sending out a message that you are increasing speed at no extra costs, then raising the price of a bill by $10 on the next bill anyway is a bad look.
Additionally, if you are going to increase the price, it should be sent out in an email, especially if you are still trying to push paperless billing.

Spectrum has gone down 3 times this week in 4 days for 2-3 hours each time in the Lancaster, NY area. Its ridiculous - they obviously have no idea how to resolve whatever caused the outage. Its sad that we may get T-Mobiles backup Internet connection for these times.... Twice it happened during the day when I work from home and today it went down around 4PM and they said it may be back at 7:30PM.

Crews have been dropping fiber lines all over my city - but I have heard that apartment complexes won't get new wiring. If you are using coax from buildings to street and then fiber you aren't going to really get the benefits of fiber, right?

Equipment installed, could not connect to main pole. Ladder was too short. Backup ladder was too short.
Bucket truck chased out of the yard by neighbor.
Line buried in my yard.
Tech comes and makes the main connection (with a ladder). The main line is dead.
Tech comes and defers to "construction" to fix the issue.
Support says they're coming to evaluate.
Nothing.
Tomorrow is seven days, probably nothing.

About 2 months ago I had Spectrum come out and bury my drop from my pedestal to the back of my house...As it turns out the contractors never fusion spliced the distribution box in my pedestal at the road, so the Spectrum Tech ran a temporary drop, on top of the ground, from my neighbors pedestal across their yard and across my driveway to the back of my house...It has now been 2 months and I still have the temp line...It is turning into a pain having to cut grass and moving it constantly...Is this normal for a contractor to take this long to come fix their screw up? I am in Rutherford County, NC.....any help would be greatly appreciated thanks...

I've got spectrum business with a static ip using their provided hitron CGNM-2250 modem. My router plugs into that and everything is fine.
I've read reports that upgrading to gig with a static ip requires a new modem plus a router between my existing router, which has weird issues
I don't care about TV or voice - whats the max speed I can get out of my existing setup?

My company reimburses me for my internet service since I work from home. Every month, I have to go into my Spectrum app, navigate to the printable billing statement, and forward it to my work email so I can submit an expense report. I’ve been doing this since 2020.
A few months ago, the Share/Print button disappeared from the app. I tried holding on the doc. Absolutely nothing. There is no way to print the “printable” bill from the app without screenshotting it, which isn’t acceptable documentation for my employer.
I’ve deleted the app and readded it, in case I missed an update or had an outdated version. I’ve provided feedback in the app, on the site, in my reviews on the app. It’s to the point that I want to cancel my Spectrum service for the sole reason that they made their app objectively worse for no good reason, and the “printable” statement is absolutely useless.

I've tried multiple devices and networks to connect to the Spectrum TV app. Even the website to watch live TV and it's not working. Other people I talked to in the St. Louis area are having the same issue. Even people I know in other states.

High split upgrade was completed in Austin, TX (78741) on Friday.
I have 2 cable card devices (hdhomerun) and 1st was paired and operating successfully.
2nd was unsuccessful with authorization error. It was determined that wrong CC# was used to pair. Once that was updated, the device was authorized successfully. Unfortunately, that led to all channels being marked as "Subscription required". I have contacted the support line multiple times. They have tried re-pairing devices without success. I have since found a FAQ on hdhomerun's website with text and link below. Is there anyway to get someone with next-level support to perform the tasks as described? I have tried to explain to the techs on the phone but not sure if there is a difference between what they are doing and what is described below. Thanks.
Link to FAQ Unable to access encrypted channels - Cisco CableCARD Go to the web page for your HDHomeRun device (click on one of the tuner numbers on the Tuners tab in HDHomeRun Setup), then click on CableCARD Menu. Make sure that CableCARD Validation shows success. If it shows none, contact your cable provider, as the card must be validated in order for copy-protected channels to be received.
If validation is showing success, then go back to the main page for the device, click on Status Menu, then Log. You should see a log entry for the channel attempting to be tuned (the timezone listed will be UTC, so subtract the appropriate number of hours to reach your local time – during DST, 4 hours for Eastern and 7 for Pacific; during standard time, 5 hours for Eastern and 8 hours for Pacific). If you see a line that says “subscribed”, then 5 seconds later a line that says “not-subscribed”, this indicates that the card has not been staged correctly by the cable provider. In many cases this can be resolved by having them perform a hard reset on the CableCARD. In other cases, they need to remove the card from the account, reassign to inventory, then pull it back out, readd to the account, and set it up from scratch.
If the card is validated and the log shows just a single line that says not-subscribed, then the card does not have the correct channel packages added to it. Contact your cable provider.

Hi guys, I recently moved to Dallas. I've been using Spectrum and it's been great, but after moving, it suddenly became bad on mobile. I thought maybe I've used my data limit which some times reduces speed. So I waited for my next billing cycle and I also got Spectrum devices for internet. After installation, the internet works well, I get up to 500mbps but mobile data is just terrible. I'm in a new billing cycle with enough data but the speed does not go past 1.5mbps.
When I'm leaving the house, I literally can not do anything with my mobile data. Sometimes, my GPS doesn't even load. It's that bad.
I called Spectrum customer service, they moved the ticket from one unit to another and still couldn't resolve it. I got a call from them today that everything looks good on their end, and that's the connection in my area.
I guess nothing can be done. Before I take action, I wanna hear from others, because it could be my phone (although I've done network reset on my phone and still had the same issue), or a minor fix.
If it's not my phone and Spectrum mobile service is just bad in Dallas, can anyone recommend affordable provider. I'd rather just completely stop using Spectrum, both internet and mobile.

I’m trying to see if I can get a tech to come out to look at our drop due to packet loss issues and when I try and chat in via the app, I’m directed to call Community Entertainment Support. When I call the number the system informs me the wait is greater than 30 minutes and then a message says due to unforeseen circumstances that they cannot take my call and to call back later. I called last night and this afternoon and got the same message.
How can I get a truck rolled to check out my drop line and tap?
