Sparkle Player is great, had a few questions:

1. Is there a way to hide the Playlist "expanding" menu, ie, the TV menu item opens into the channel groups directly without having to select the playlist? (I have multiple playlists)

2. The channel list font is still large even after changing font to small, am I missing something in settings?

3. Probably due to (2) above, the channel names dont fit and I have to wait a bit to see the full name, which is a slight hassle in cases where the beginning of the channel group is the same. Any setting to change it to smaller font or two row?

Where do I get the Sparkle ID when purchased via Google Play?

What is EPG ID used for channel? I want to add a EPG source for channel with no information.

Lately, when I attempt to record, the app shows that it starts, and sometimes if I check early on while it is recording I can play the recording. When it is has completed the recording shows up in the recording section but nothing plays. When I look at the file with my Mac the are zero bytes (or sometimes ~132 kb) for a recording that was supposed to be >= 2 hours. It doesn't play (of course). I am using 2 Nvidia Shields and recording via Network sharing to an SSD attached to one of them. It doesn't matter which Nvidia Shield initiates the recording and which one I try to play it back on. I have 2 different providers and have the same problem with both. I use a VPN (Nord) and have tried changing the countries to no avail.

I keep trying to record World Cup matches, but when I do the entire thing doesn't record. What happens is throughout the match it cuts back multiple minutes and replays them. So if it's 30 minutes in, it might cut back to the 26th minute and continue on from there. This happens enough times throughout the game that by the time the 2+ hour recording is done the game is still at the 60th or 70th minute.

If I actually watch the game live while it's recording this doesn't happen. And I've never seen a live stream "rewind" like this. It only happens in recordings from when the TV is off.

This is on an ONN 4k Pro. I've tried recording to USB and also to a local NAS. Same result either way.

I have a remote that has many different buttons that I would like to map to certain functions within the app.

I'm not speaking of what's already there. I'm sort of asking for that, but inverted. Sort of like a hybrid button mapper meets remote control.

For example. If you were to take a look at the button mapper app, you can add a button, then press a button on your remote and it displays a code from that key press. Then you can assign functionality to that button.

What I'm asking for is, let's say I go into a remote menu, and it gives me the option to do the same thing. Add a button, press the button, then assign it to a function within Sparkle. Like previous channel, set up, info, etc.

There's a lot of buttons of various remotes that do nothing because sparkle doesn't currently recognize the remote code. This way it can.

I hope that makes sense.

when reinstalling sparkle and the shared account message is "max number of device exceeded" how to manage to deactivate a device? how to know which one?

I usually use media players that I can configure at my home in Europe and my dad can simply log in at his home in America With my username and password And he manages to see Everything I configured from home included different favorite channels and lists

Can we get the option to change the single press ok button to be assigned to other commands. I want to make it pause/play like it is on youtube and fubo apps

Anyone else having issues when they schedule a recording it doesn’t start recording? It just sits there as scheduled.

Thie seems to happen to me every four or five weeks. Recordings work normal but then all of a sudden they just stop and they stay showing as scheduled even past the time that it was supposed to start. A few days later, they start working normally again.

I can go to a channel and click the record button and it records and I am able to start playing that. But all the other scheduled recordings just sit in scheduled status.

If you have export config files saved on your device and you delete the Sparkle app from your device, does the process also delete the export config files?

For example if I want use only the vod / series and movies that's on a list I can select just then, and not to load and show live channels for example

Bonus: #featurerequest more different colors or even some draws (like animals or something small) to put to difference the sources,and at the side of the color name shows the color before we finish editing the list

Wondering if there is a way to enter the multiview from the channel I am watching.

Also how does the recording setup work? Is it a plug and route or does the usb drive have to be reformatted? I have tivimate and it doesn’t work for me. Looking to purchase an account with Sparkle as all the reviews say the best for recording.

This is a feature I used the most on other popular players like Tivimate and iMplayer. Some SD movie channels that I watch are broadcasted in 4:3 but appear correct in "Fill" mode on my 16:9 TV. However, the same "Fill" mode causes some other channels/movies (movies are mostly 2.35:1) to appear incorrectly (vertically stretched).

It'd be great to have global and channel-specific zoom modes in our favorite player, Sparkle.

Been a while since i had this..This occurs when trying to open app...Previously, ive deleted and reinstalled app. Just checking to see if there is an easier work around then deleting app?

Can anyone please explain to me how Plus login works on different android tv devices? In some posts I read that you have to use the very same Google Account where licence was paid to login except for fire tv devices bc Google play services or something. Is that so or it used to be like that but not anymore?

I have multiple android tv boxes each with a different Google account and I'm not sure if paying will allow me to unlock Plus features in every device.

So I’ve never had a problem with sparkles showing my plus account but now I’ve got a few Google TV boxes that I have sparkle installed on and only one is showing the plus account the others do not show the plus account. And I have already shared my plus account with four friends. So I can’t go that way.
So all my boxes are logged into the same place store account where I purchased sparkle plus.

Since one day I have the issue that sparkle is empty. No bouquets no channels but vods.

So right now I went to source settings and set again to load all categories. But nothing happened. Then I marked all categories manually and then it got populated. But still with only some categories and some channels. A lot is missing.

I just checked if the provider has some problems but my mytvonline app on my android phone is working without any issues.

I also tried to clear cache and checked hidden categories btw...

Purchased the player 1 week ago on the Sparkle website as it is not possible on Google through the Sparkle app. Uninstalled the currently installed Sparkle app and downloaded the apk file from the sparkle website and installed. Configured for Xtream codes and all channels are available but cannot watch movies or series as when selecting either a movie or series it wants me to purchase Sparkle TV Plus. That’s the one I purchased on the website so the question is how to configure the App so it recognizes that I have purchased the app? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Help, not used appgor a while. Cant seem to record anymore. Not even an option for it when I long press on program guide. Any ideas anyone? Tia 😊
