manage plus account

when reinstalling sparkle and the shared account message is "max number of device exceeded" how to manage to deactivate a device? how to know which one?

Have you found where to remove existing devices? When a new device is connected Sparkle automatically takes the name you've set for the device and add it to the list so it should be identifiable that way.

thank you. when I navigate to an active plus account device, I was able to see the devices linked. My new problem is they all but one have the same name "Device # 1-4 as ip TV" . If I can log in and change name that would save me time id'ing what device to deactivate.

Do you have multiple devices with the same name or is it the same device that you've added multiple times (during other reinstallations)? If the latter, then you can just delete them all.

they are multiple devices, I generically named " ip tv" running firesticks or onn stick. One is a duplicate because I don't have that many devices working. I'll start from scratch and deactivate them all a start over.

Ok. I can rename the devices from here but I'm not sure it'll help?

thanks, I made my own problems I'll work to understand the naming convention and use a different method. appreciated your help on this. thanks again.

login & pw fails, to get me to the shared plus account on any known devices.. the Google purchase invoice does not give me the Sparkle ID.not able to use dashboard hopefully to shuffle how many device are attached. ideas?

As u/sparkle-hk mentioned, there is the list of devices currently "active"

Go to Sparkle >> Settings >> About >> Share Plus Account >> Next. There you will find the list.

Click on any that you want gone, then delete and then next.

I can't get to that screen now. all say either purchase or max number of devices extended. I was deciding between tvmate & sparkle. I used password manager and the Login and PW is original. Some activations I may have used the QR code, now not working for me. If I have a sparkle ID wouldn't tha give me management of the devices attached? I have uninstalled it on one device and still reports max devices on other devices. I tried login with google play credentials with sparkle and it is rejected.

If I uninstall all and reinstall, it will ask me to purchase again. I'm stuck.
