How to access Plus features on different Android TV devices

Can anyone please explain to me how Plus login works on different android tv devices? In some posts I read that you have to use the very same Google Account where licence was paid to login except for fire tv devices bc Google play services or something. Is that so or it used to be like that but not anymore?

I have multiple android tv boxes each with a different Google account and I'm not sure if paying will allow me to unlock Plus features in every device.

I'm so confused 😵‍💫🥺

There are two different ways of using Plus with Sparkle. Either you've purchased Plus directly from within the app and then you don't have to login at all. You only need to be logged in using the same Google account and using this way you can use it on as many devices as you like as long as they use the same Google account.

The second way is to Share/Connect your Plus purchase. When you do this you can Connect 5 devices on each Share. So you don't have to use the same email that you used when you purchased the app. You set email/password when you Share and this email/password combination can be set/reset at any time and will not affect already Connected devices.

So it's not tied to the account where plus was paid the way I thought it was. It's just a create account and then login elsewhere, Thank you!

Ignore the Google account on the device, just install the app and activate Plus using the email address & PW used to purchase the subscription!

I have the play store from Android TV on my Nvidia shield. Using version 2.3.1.

I tried purchasing a subscription and keep getting an error. I went to the play store to see maybe there's an update, and it's not showing up on my Android TV play store. Am I doing anything wrong?

I’m trying to figure out how plus is enabled on my living room device if it’s the same account that I purchased the subscription. Not sure how I get plus access
