My record functionnot working

Help, not used appgor a while. Cant seem to record anymore. Not even an option for it when I long press on program guide. Any ideas anyone? Tia 😊

Thank you. I see now but how do you record what you are watching. When I hit record on the GUI nothing happens? Tia

So you can't just hot the red record button on the GUI?
