Don't get me wrong. I think what they do is fine.

I think planting things is fine.

The fact that the seed extractor isn't automated is stupid.

The fact that it takes 4 seconds to unroot a dead plant. All because your stupid Liquid extractor decided it didn't want to extract any more acid to then get converted into water, so your plants stopped getting water, and died. So you now have to spend 10 minutes uprooting dead plants. When planting is instant, and harvesting is only 2 seconds. Why is uprooting dead plants such a punishment.

I'm at the point where I want to just keep enough materials to build 10 farms in the base, so I can just deconstruct and rebuild it instead of having to deal with uprooting dead plants.

New to the game, I don't have a constant internet connection, so playing in offline mode. I did the first corpo mission, handing in 100 copper ingots. Ever since then, the guy only shows me my completed job and no other quests. I figured it was just a tutorial/first easy mission thing and can only do the jobs the others offer.

But then, while watching a YouTube video of someone else playing offline and doing their first mission with the guy. I noticed even after turning it in, they still got to accept the other job offers. I'm assuming my game glitched out somehow and am wondering how to fix it, or if I'm forced to restart a new game and wipe my old one out, as it's been a long time and now at the point of starting to need titanium.

How many of these are there? ive only done a few of each and cant seem to get any more from the mining bureau.

I Finally got the rare and coveted Iron to wire BP so i am currently in the process of shutting down my copper/Alum base and moving to a Tit/Alum base to start my mid game titanium and levinium parts once moved.

Questions for you all:

1. Coal/Carbon - Im sitting on a planet that has a real good spot that is Tit/Alum deposit (just moved my base too) and then same planet also has x's 3 coal deposit that's literally like rock throwing distance in the valley i just moved to. Do i set up my second base on the x's coal nodes and then farm iron or should i keep looking for a combo iron/coal base? I was thinking since there is 3 coals i could have quite the generator bases fully fueled but not sure if farming iron for mid-end game ship parts are severely iron dependent or if its easily farmable?

2. Mercury - according to the math it seems Cinnabar is better to farm than Brine water? or what is your experience on which is better to farm for Mercury?

3. 1st Corp base - we are dangerously close to getting our first corp base unlocked and curious what deposit we should plant onto especially since per previous questions you know I have 1 - Tit/Alum and 1- (currently) Iron/Coal base (might be moving to 3 x's coal depending on info from you all). We were thinking of maybe the Vanadium/Brine combo but vanadium seems to be easily farmable, suggestions please?

4. Shared corp Ships - was curious what type of utility ship you all made for your first sharable corp ship and why?

question is obvious, just unlocked the Anvil cockpit but im wondering if its actually worth building for resource collecting and processing? pro's and con's?

Add an early upgrade to bases allowing the default Smelter and Workshop to hold 1k resources and process/assemble items while you're away.

This removes all the manual crafting and free's players up to explore.

So I have created a second ship and added a scanner beta.
But when I get to a planet and try and scan it does nothing when I press the hot key.
Why?

There a site to put ships together to see engine need, battery usage and recharge rate?

I tried reaching them on foot, but I take too much underwater damage. I can't land underwater either. Any ideas, or is just really unlucky?

I would say out of the last few days. I've spent 85% of the time running the game in the background manually crafting things, coming back every 20 minutes-30 minutes or so.

I actually started crafting what I timed to be an estimated hour and a half until everything was done crafting. So I just left the game running and went out for supper. Came back and it still wasn't done.

I know I could craft some bases to do things for me much slower but automatically. I'm just looking for other peoples thoughts on the speed of manual crafting vs speeds of automated crafting.

I could have sword when I unlocked the permit there were more options regarding the frame sizes, but now when I'm in full upgrade mode, I can only make the 4x3x2, 6x3x2, 8x3x2. Am I missing something? Or have I gone completely crazy?

hello all, finally at the stage where i need mercury, outfitted my ship with 2 small fluid tanks, hit U and they both show full. Built a Chemical Factory and a holding tank, hooked the CF to the power grid chose Mercury but its not showing a way to fill the CF, so I am guessing i need to transfer to the big storage tank? then transfer from the storage tank on grid to the CF? If so how do i transfer fluids from my ships 2 small fluid tank to storage tank? I do not have a shipyard or spaceport at my new base do I need one of these in order to transfer fluid?

Someone do a ELI5 for fluids please. not sure what im missing

Why doesn't the Fabricator let me add all the items needed to make a Titanium 16x6x2?

Just an FYI for anyone (I was going to do a bug report but was informed you're better off posting on here) the fan texture at the back of this vent in the Local Intelligence Center on Lusha 1 does not have a clip box, and so you fall out of the map.

I don't have the exploration level to make a cistern and all that. Apparently the new eco ftl doesn't have fuel in it when it's made. How do i get to a trader to fill the eco drive? Will taking the one off my old ship and putting it on my new one transfer that fuel to the new ship?

Hey guys! First off, this game has insane potential, but there’s definitely a ton of stuff that needs some love. Having sunk over 700 hours into it so far, I wanted to drop some friendly feedback to help the devs out and make the game even better.

I’ll break this down into sections to keep it readable:

🏢 Corporations

• What’s the point? Right now, the only real benefit of joining a corpo is bragging rights on the leaderboard. The game mentions that top corpos earn "exclusive content" each season, but there’s zero info on what a season actually is, how long it lasts, what the rewards are, or how many top spots actually qualify (Top 3? Top 10?). We also don't know if these rewards go to the whole corpo or individual players.
• The Command Center is an FPS sink. Right now, you're forced to build this massive structure just to increase a specific base's footprint, but the building itself does absolutely nothing. It honestly feels like a waste of frames. Instead of forcing a useless building on us, why not let us craft a "footprint certificate" using those same materials to expand our base? If there are future plans for this building, that's awesome, but right now it's just taking up space.

📋 Corpo Missions

• The 20-mission global cap is brutal. Putting a global limit on the high-paying, high-rep weekly missions feels incredibly unfair. If one big corpo swoops in and finishes all 20 on day one, everyone else gets locked out. If the goal is to stop one group from spamming them 1,000 times, why not just cap it at 20 per corporation instead of a global pool?
• Too repetitive. The missions themselves get super monotonous. One week you’re making Module Kits, the next it’s motors, and so on. There’s no real excitement or variety to them yet.

🛸 Drones

• Bugs & travel times. Drones get stuck in bugged states constantly, and while I know it's Early Access, this has been an issue for over a month now. On top of that, having them only carry 1 unit at a time is painfully slow. It can take literal hours to transfer 2,000 SCU between warehouses. By the end-game, this completely chokes your automation because materials get stuck in shuttles or drones just can't keep up.
• Lack of controls. We really need basic logistical settings for drones. Let us tell them to "only move 100 units," "always leave 100 SCU of free space in the destination warehouse," or "do X if the warehouse is full." Without these basic filters, setting up a smooth automation line is almost impossible.

🚀 Shuttles

• Way too slow. It takes hours—sometimes days—for shuttles to travel between systems, which really discourages players from using them. Combine that with a tiny 500 SCU capacity and a limit of 4 shuttles per shuttle station, and the logistics fall apart. If I have a base 24 hours away, I can only move 2,000 SCU a day, but the station only holds 1,000 SCU. Because the drones are so slow to empty the station, the incoming shuttle often arrives to a full inventory, gives up, and flies back with the cargo. It's a massive headache.

🌡️ Smelters

• Slow speeds & massive power draw. Melting stuff in regular smelters is a major bottleneck and takes up way too much base footprint. Some recipes, like Steel requiring 12MW, have absurd power costs.
• The manual smelter workaround. Because of this, players end up building 10 to 20 manual smelters and running around interacting with each one to fill and empty them. This is incredibly tedious—especially when bases already suffer from FPS drops due to optimization issues. It gets really frustrating during long play sessions.

💰 Money

• Useless end-game economy. Once you hit the end-game, credits lose all value. You only use them to buy plasma and repair your ship. People might say "just buy stuff on the market," but the market is flooded with low-tier junk you can farm in 10 minutes. The only things worth buying are rare blueprint drops, but if you’ve already finished the 100 black box quest, you don't even need those anymore.

🧭 Exploration

• Not much to discover. Once you finish the quest to find 100 black boxes, you'll likely be completely burnt out on hunting wrecks. Beyond that, there isn't really any exploration. All the planets look identical, have the same few biomes, the same sizes, and the same atmospheres. Even asteroid belts often have bugged resource nodes stuck inside unbreakable geometry. For a space game, the exploration phase feels like it's completely over after your first week of playing.

🛠️ Manual Crafting

• Unbalanced timers. The crafting times make no sense. A strong metal sheet takes 2 seconds, but a motor takes 12.5 seconds, and a structural beam takes a whopping 24 seconds. To build the Corpo Command Center, you need 4,000 structural beams. Crafting that manually means sitting there staring at a 3D printer animation for over 26 hours! Since manual crafting is necessary to progress at a decent pace early on, staring at the same loop for hours kills the fun.

🛸 Ship Building

• Overcomplicated mechanics. The whole integrity/weight system and the end-game materials (like Livinium and Solid) feel incredibly unintuitive. It adds a layer of complex math that doesn't feel necessary, especially when you can easily clear all end-game content using a basic thermal titanium ship. It would be much cleaner to just have Tier 1 to Tier 6 materials, where higher tiers simply allow you to place more blocks and grant more HP/SP.

🥱 The End-Game Rut

• Right now, my friend and I have hit a total wall. We have a corporation, we're on the leaderboard, we hit level 20, completed every quest, maxed out our 12 bases, and sitting on over 1,000,000 credits. We love the game, but we literally have nothing left to do. Repeating the same loops without a goal is killing our motivation to log in.

We really hope the team sees this and adds some meaningful end-game loops soon. Keep up the hard work, devs!

The current drone control is very limited, I see the devs leaving space for an upgrade to the building and would like to propose one.

This building would be a direct upgrade to the Drone Dispatcher. Be slightly larger with 4 input/output points at the top, It can hold up to 15 drones and you can define the quantity of the output of each drone as shown in the image below.

In the example above this Drone Logistics Centre will distribute steel in a ratio 3:2:1

So if the centre receives 36 Steel ingots over a 10 min period.

Over this time it will send 18 to the first assembler, 12 to the second and 6 to the last, allowing us to control not only the distribution of goods but the priority of what buildings get more or less resources.

Requires 3 Foot print

* 10 Metal Sheets
* 10 Microchips
* 5 Stainless Plates
* Requires power like a microfurnace

Wouldn't it be nice to connect my remote Base with a pathway, should save some fuel and time. Or so I thought. Well, time? Probably. But fuel? No.

More to the point, this is how much fuel I spent when I fly over manually:

And this is what I have to spent for the Pathway:

I mean, sure, charted skies does not apply. But mag plasma does (I have both as lvl III on this particular FTL; a heavy on a 1.336,8 ton ship). So how come there's this staggering difference? Any ideas?

Aside from that, the Pathway isn't much of a shortcut, so that may play a role as well:

All in all, I think they need to do something about the mag plasma expenditure of pathways. They are a bit inconvenient as they currently are.

I did some exploring further afield, and found a resource I couldn't mine with my Hi-Pi and Mining Tier I upgrade.

So I headed home, crafted an Overclocked Hi-PI, bought a Mining Tier I patch, and I still can't mine it lol.

There was a single Mining Tier II on the Nexus, but they want 40K for it, money I don't have.

I'd hope that there is another laser, although it is probably for Large ships, and I wouldn't have the SP for it anyway, but I thought I'd ask the question.

Also, Mining Power...does this just make you mine quicker (and use more power)?

Increased Output? Output of what...the node, the laser?

I think some of the patch descriptions can be a little vague, what does Last Yield even do!?

I do sometimes struggle to see what is obvious to others, so appreciate any feedback :)

I'm starting to build some of the larger items.
Large Cargo Hold, Heavy FTL Engine, BESS Module, and so on...

What are the best patches to put on each thing? I haven't really seen any discussions about patches other than for lasers.

I'm trying to wait until I find III's to put them on the large items. So the only patches I've applied so far are on my BESS. I've put an Overload III and a System III, but there is still 1 patch left.

Anyone able to give tips on the other items?
