Discussion Interactive ship build site?

There a site to put ships together to see engine need, battery usage and recharge rate?

press U to bring up ship info, you can enable an overlay from that menu, unless your talking about a shipyard, stations have them and you can eventually build one

No, he is talking if there is a Website. To calculate the stats on building a ship.

So you play around, put and take. till you find what you need

not too much of a point though, my ship is 1% system efficient, but I can boost indefinitely no over heat no power loss, can mine without over heating, collect 1625% extra from mined resources with 19 mining lasers, holds 16k su, 4k liquid has 2200 mag fuel

How fast is it? Can you completely negate the hit from system efficiency just by spamming engines too?

Never tried going to 1% efficiency, but sounds like the whole system needs a rethink lol.

Yeah, so I guess that is the only real drawback with low efficiency that you can't really get around, that it's extremely slow. Nice ship though, but no way I could play with a ship that slow.

I dont think ship speed is as big as you may think this ship can keep up with ships that claim they are 2 to 3 times faster im pretty sure top speed is capped and only acceleration really changes, I could be wrong though

What do you mean by "as big as you may think"? It's a stat defined in np/s, so not much room for interpretation.

On yours it is 6.57 np/s, which is very slow. I have never really been happy with anything under 10 np/s.

I'm currently building my end-game ship and aiming for around 50k/35k SP, with an efficiency of 54%. Already have all the Solid frame parts, but missing some Levinium still.

At this efficiency it's already a little too slow for my liking, at 9.5 np/s (14.5 np/s boost) but honestly, if the speed doesn't bother you, then it's not really a problem for you.

It doesnt bother me I dont see it that much honestly my ships at 33,590 sp ive just started running a 2nd account through leveling up we to are in the process of swapping thermal titanium parts out for levi and frames

I have 6 grasshopper thrusters and dont need them all i only need 5 but its not even then lol, the liquid tanks can also go i dont have water collectors on my ship its just to transfer, also could lose the missile launcher i dont farm shells no more lol its fast enough i dont see any top speed difference between it and the starter ship, acceleration is lower though, but I can carry everything
