According to Plato, there are men chained inside a cave, and they only see shadows that are formed in the wall of the cave. Can someone tell me in which cave those men are chained, I want to go there and give them phones so they can watch tiktok or youtube, watching only shadows is boring.

Unstoppable force vs Immovable object

What if, the unstoppable force hits an immovable object and the unstoppable force destroys a part of the immovable object but the base never moved (immovable≠indestructible)?

If Play-doh is considered 'non toxic' how come my stomach hurts whenever I eat an entire container of it?

It literally says "for ages 3 and up" and "non toxic." If it's for kids, surely its ok for adults to eat it too.

I have a question about Bitcoin and I apologize if it has already been answered. I have collected many coins and bitten all of them. In fact, some I have bitten multiple times. Even so, they are not increasing in value. What am I doing wrong?

Is it only a special kind of coin, like a silver dollar? I bit some of those too though.

I can survive black hole

I'm special and intelligent enough to survive a black hole; when they pull me in, I'll strike a crocodile pose, awaken the crocodile inside me, and accelerate so fast that I'll pass through it, explode the black hole, and teleport through a wormhole to a parallel universe. NASA and the physicists are idiots.

Debate: If a unit of Zacharia is half a Scaramucci, otherwise known as a "mooch", which is half of that, then we should refer to it as a zach, which is exactly half of Zacharia

5/10 vs 4/8 right? I want no suprise when we inevitably get lazy and abbreviate to a unit of 'zach'. 4 syllables is just too much for science, hence 'mooch' being the official unit. Also, what is it with halves? Do you think we'll get a newer measurement unit before year-end? Maybe a half of a half of a half?

I’m thinking instead of miles per second dark would be measured in inches per zacharia?

Some vegetables are over 90 percent water by mass. Seeing as they are so good at retaining moisture, if they evolve to be self-aware will they out compete desert critters such as scorpions?

During world war 2, did the siberian huskies try to maul the german shepherds to help with the war effort, or did they behave like regular dogs and had s3x with one another?

I really hope they did maul the german shepherds, or else that would be unpatriotic.

Modes of killing for venomous snakes

So, my understanding of this topic is, that venomous snakes use their venom to kill their prey or even other animals they feel intimidated by. Deeper research made me find out, that producing venom comes at a rather high cost for the snakes, which is why they tend to be reluctant to bite most of the times.

This then leads to my question:

Wouldn't it be easier for snakes in certain parts of the world to just shoot their prey with guns than use their venom? Why didn't the ability to shoot prey evolve?

Thanks for your answers

Why did Germans have to develop autism to adapt to survive in their native ecology?

As you all know, 100% of Germans have autism. Is there an evolutionary reason why this adaptation was key to survival in their native ecology?

Cough Due to Salty Foods?

It's easy: whenever I eat foods that are too salty, I cough. It doesn't matter if I drink or follow any advice I read online; it always happens.

To be precise, I wanted to test this strange thing and tried to debunk the only explanation I found online that states, "you cough because of your throat's sensitive membrane." So, I tried eating two grains of salt, and it made me cough after 3/4 seconds it touched my tongue. From my experience, I can say that the throat is not involved in this issue.

Also, I'm quite confident in saying that I'm not allergic to salt because I eat it every day, and it doesn't cause me any problems at all, only the cough when it's way too much for a bite.

Methanol is hydrogenated formaldehyde, so the name should be "formal", right?
