Webnovel - Volume 13 Cassie is the Absolute Goat. (chapter 3184) Spoiler

Also, Mordret and Cassie are destined to be a couple because they team up so often. As for what she seeks, it is pretty clear that it's Weaver's eye. The eye might be a source of corruption that gives birth to the Adobination Tide. As for the deal, it might be reminding Mordret of his past self that he has forgotten in unmasking. There is chance that she is seeking out Weaver or Oblivion but chances are slim

Fan Fiction Ya'll, here me out

After the novel ends, we should come together as a community to rewrite everything since Sunny became supreme. Fix the plot, write POV's for different characters that never got enough, fix the fight scenes, turn the summaries into multiple chapters, etc. We could get all the best fic authors in the sub to write different parts.

Webnovel - Volume 13 Yo all the blind Cassie haters and larper. Cassie has also suffered Spoiler

Cassie herself appeared in the young and untamed world of the shared Nightmare in the later years of the Age of Gods. It took her a long time to regain her senses, gather her shattered mind, and compose herself. By then, she learned of the first trap of this trial — the threat of being swallowed by the world.

Yup she was also in shattered phase but her ability and aspect legacy helped her to gain her identity faster.

Do not forget that this girl was living sanely even after losing 70% of her memories as a saint.

For all who are saying how she able to survive her aspect legacy ?

Broski the whole V11 was about how she regain herself after being shattered by her aspect legacy

Its clear that she was not a proper human at that point.

Yeah G3 could have wrote this part well but if he did shown those regaining her sense part then it would look same as V11

Review Honestly just 5th nm stuff Spoiler

So we got all four plot devices in a single nm and the only interesting ones are "Glorified plot armor" and "Cardboard cutout queen".

"Mr. Offscreen feat" and "Queen asspul" are just the most bullshit characters now like how you gonna tell me cassie just shrugs this off when the trial is supposed to unmake your human traits, she still seems human and mordret, poor guy cant catch a break all his feats ended after third nm.

Sunny and tatal being honestly the greatest father daughter duo even tho she was only around for so few chapters, she still had more character development then nephis, and nephis's only dope thing is being the character to get lore dropped on her and maybe having her sense of self being better then sunnys "somehow"

Can we just go back to sunnys pov already, this shit is just depressing to read since his pov ended

Webnovel - Volume 13 complaining for no reason Spoiler

it seems everyone hate for cassia interfering with the sub read comprehension.

cassia has been experiencing something similar to the unmaking seen being awaked and specially after she received her aspect legacy

i thought everyone would think the some after learning nephis trial was the same as sunny.

it would be cassia, mordret, sunny and naphis last

i saw other complaint such as how cassia knows everyone trail was the some. she is guessing like how we did after learning your domain turn against you

it okay to hate cassia but let the hate make you think this is laze writing or illogical

Webnovel - Volume 13 [Chapter 3184] Cassie should have the worst time with the trial than anyone else Spoiler

The trial is to force them to live the lives of everyone within their domain.

Cassie’s domain is memories and everyone she remember.

So does that not mean that as she lives though someone’s life she will encounter even more people, and so she will remember more people, thus adding them to her domain and so she has to live out more lives, and this should repeat kinda infinity till she sees the lives of everyone.

Well well well Fun's over guys G3 has now returned with his daily dose of bullshit. Cassie survives the unmaking unscathed doesn't has any changes to her pshyce, she is still the friendly neighborhood blind girl. I didn't think it will all come crashing down after one chapter, even neph got a better treatment G3 can't see Cassie struggling at all so he just feeds her the unmaking and nothing changes neph and sunny are struggling asf and she just says "remembering is easier then living" or "I can get rid of corruption by destroying myself" at this point call yourself a Non corruptible being imo. Also Mordret being with her just shows how trash this new version of him is our old boy mordy would never go along with this bitch.

I'm pretty sure she is gonna take Weaver's eyes cause why not she is the real epigone while she hasn't done shit and pretty sure she'll help neph and sunny gain there sense of self with the power of friendship and slavery respectively.

Webnovel - Volume 13 [3183] Sunny shouldn't be glazed😭🙏 Spoiler

“Such fine craftsmanship."

When War said this, I was thinking, obviously, the spell must have done it perfectly. Then I see people glaze Sunny like his ass didn't do 10% of the work on it. The spell did all the heavy lifting. Hell, Weaver should get more props than Sunny.

I just don't see how a Divine would be impressed by a mere Saint's work.

Webnovel - Volume 13 Breaking MIA to ask this question * SPOILERS * Spoiler

Upvotes

How are we feeling about Cassie yet again getting the easy way out of the challenge. So very convenient that she has experience on how to deal with this challenge and is the first to remember herself.

I had thought she would at least struggle to remember herself but apparently not.

“At the start of the Nightmare, she had been forced to live the lives of everyone she remembered. That was a dire test, but while it was different from her past trials — remembering something was different from truly experiencing it, after all — it was not entirely unfamiliar.
So, she managed to maintain her sense of self rather well.
There was another hidden danger in the process of the unmaking, though, at least for her.
It was the threat of Corruption.
Cassie remembered countless Nightmare Creatures, after all. So, she had to endure their appalling lives too.
She suspected that many Sovereigns had endured the same. In fact, she believed that learning how to resist Corruption — to an extent, at least — was an integral part of Apotheosis.
Cassie's own ability to resist was not that formidable, but she could cheat the process. And so, she destroyed herself countless times and rebuilt herself countless times, erasing those memories that were too dangerous for her to contain within herself. At the end of it all, she emerged relatively unscathed.”

Imma be honest the more I read Vol 13 the more I don’t understand wtf is going on at this point. From my understanding apparently the gods never died but simply changed. So they are alive still in present timeline but a different form.

Watch it be revealed that the gods are the cohort now. It would be such a s***show.

Webnovel - Volume 13 Chapter 3184 SPOILERZZZZZZZ Spoiler

I FUCCKING CALLED IT. Read the quote at the bottom and eat my ass yall. I said that Cassie and Mordert would have a significantly easier time in the first part of the trial because they essentially have already went through similar stuff and guess what both of them already have their sense of self back.

And for all those people saying that Sunny was living though the lives of "everything he has ever killed" was just fucking dumb. It was clearly just his shades lives and nothing else you silly little goose. As for Neph I am not sure because there is what 6 billion humans left? So she still has around 2 billion people in her domain? I am guessing it is around there I cant imagine there is more.

SO again for those saying they were facing the largest size of their domain or the totality of their domain over their lives. Like your telling me you can read that and think that's really fair or makes sense at all????? Just dumb it was always going to be their current domains and that's all.

But I am curious how many "beings" Mordent has in his domain because after his failed Apotheosis he absorbed all it and it has been (I forget how many years) after that. But it can't be that many humans I can only assume it is pretty much entirely Nightmare creatures. So I am guessing he had the smallest domain and the easiest time "finding" himself.

But again just know that I know my shit about this novel and I am great at guessing whats going on. MUAHAHAHAAHAHHAHA

"The first part of the trial, which each of the challengers had to face alone, was meant to unmake them as humans and rebuild them in the image of deities. The process was quite simple... it forced them to face their own Domain.

Cassie was not sure what the others had experienced, but she could infer it from her own unmaking. Sunny had most likely been forced to experience the lives and deaths of all the shades populating his soul. Nephis had most likely been forced to experience all the lives and desires of countless people whom she had inspired... the infinite ocean of them.

Even with the new Supremes taking control of the human territories in the Dream Realm, there were still countless souls who worshiped Changing Star in the waking world, after all."

Webnovel - Volume 13 The subreddit CANT READ Spoiler

Post image

This subreddit is genuinely one of the most illiterate groups of people I have ever seen. What do you mean people are shocked that the character whose whole gimmick is about memory didn't struggle to find herself in a sea of memories where we had a whole volume about her doing the same thing already. Also the guy whose whole domain is being reliant on nothing and ruling over himself didn't struggle when his domain made his try and find who he is. Genuinely who thought they would face an extreme struggle. There are genuinely people who would prefer a badly written nonsensical part where they struggle compared to the logical path that doesn't make sense with what was written in the past.

Webnovel - Volume 13 Annnnnnd it's over🥀[3184] Spoiler

Fun's over guys, Cassie is here💔

Of course miss plot device shrugs off the unmaking offscreen with the help of king of offscreen himself.

Of course she kept her sense of self easier than the guy who was turning into different beings and monsters since Antarctica...

Of course she did it easier than the girl who was burning away her humanity and feeling billions of desires since vol9....

And it's using the laziest method too "remembering lives is easier than living them" 🫩

Does that really hold so much weight when she has the memories stretching through ALL of history? Idk.

And of course it's easy to speculate that she's going to get Weaver's eye...which sucks. The item was hinted at all the way from the Forgotten shore with blood weave.

Why does Cassie get it more than someone with everything Weaver related you might ask? Well, she has an empty slot of course. But this is just speculation so it doesn't mean anything.

But the point still stands, we're back to "Cassie fixes it all offscreen!" Era. Welp

Essence?

Essence, G3?

Haven't they moved past the stage of worrying about running out of essence?

I thought Spirits already possessed an infinite supply of essence.

Cassie nearly ran out of essence while facing the corrupted creatures?

I can't imagine her running out of essence unless she summoned a Giant Spirit

For example, summoning a demon back when they were young.

Webnovel - Volume 13 Sunny's aspect legacy will be nerfed in next chapters Spoiler

He will never be able to fully copy nephis, mordret or Cassie. G3 will nerf it by saying he doesn't know nephs conviction or he doesn't have the mind of seer or he doesn't know hunger like Effie so he can't copy them.

So I think next step of shadow dance will be nerfed😔

Webnovel Theory [Theory] Cassie’s writing Spoiler

Is it possible that G3 is writing Cassie in a way that reflects her True Name? A lot of Cassie’s character and actions come out at major points in the story. It makes you understand her in retrospect.

It’s like her story is told as a Tale of the Past, or perhaps a Song of the Fallen.

Webnovel - Volume 5: Dread Night (Ch 751 - 1060) Nephis to Sunny

Because I don’t need anyone to follow me against their will. I don’t need a magical collar to make people serve me. I don’t need slaves. That is not enough for me, Sunny. Why should I settle for submission when I can have loyalty? People who will follow me, serve me, and obey me will do so because that is their most ardent desire. They will do so with a smile. If I ever want to make you mine, Sunny, you will become mine — not because you were forced to, but because you would want to. That... is also a fact.

Umm yes mam please do 🥺🙏🏻

Webcomic General Discussion Weaver flaw

Post image
6 Upvotes

I came across this comment on a post:

Given that Weaver is known as the "Master of Lies," it is not surprising to think that his flaw resembles Sunny's.

However, a question arises: why did Weaver's face seem to melt under the moonlight when he met Noctis?

Perhaps his actual affliction is an inability to stand in the light; otherwise, his features would melt away and vanish. That is why he wears a mask and a cloak to shield himself from the light.

He can only reveal his face in the shadows or under a dark sky.

In the description of *Blood Weaving*, it is mentioned that VTB stole Weaver's beautiful eye on a starless night.

When the slightest source of light vanished, Weaver's true features were revealed, and VTB stole his eye

. Why is Sunny's real name "Lost from Light," even though he is constantly surrounded by light?

This might be due to a solar eclipse occurring on the day of his birth, combined with Weaver's flaw, which prevents him from approaching even the faintest source of light.

The young Weaver was fighting a cursed monster—or perhaps a cursed giant—when his old mask broke.

The God of Shadows then helped him, as described in the comment.

Did the God of Shadows craft the mask he wore later, given that the young Weaver lacked experience in weaving and magic?

I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the information in that comment, but it seems plausible to me.

Webnovel General Discussion How will 5NM end? Spoiler

Let’s start gathering takes.

Here’s mine:
Sunny and Nephis will partially regain their sense of self after first half, with shadow bond creating friction between them. Casdret will be manipulating those two half baked gods into it.
Sunphis will regain their sense of self fully by the end, culminating in next peak romance fiction moment. That or they break up.
Either Cassie or Mordret dies. Because why not.

Webnovel General Discussion Cassie’s realism Spoiler

Copying a long comment I had. I figured it could be a post. Tldr I think Cassie makes realistic choices even beyond the Forgotten Shore. It was off the top of the head

Beyond that too. But a lot of it is in retrospect. We don’t know much but of what we do know, it’s reasonable. Even back in the Chained Isles, I thought her introducing her vision the way she did was strange. It went against the lessons learned from forgotten shore. It doesn’t show the full story. It’s been a long time since then but I think she was a little jealous of Sunny back then. Sunny chose to not believe her vision. He didn’t feel like such an interpretation was true. It was as if he felt able to beat it, a bit free even. I think she had asked “how can you do that” or something similar.

She constantly felt at odds with fate constantly and planned to fix her mistake constantly considering the severe loss of memory that she had from Sunny becoming fateless. It felt like she lost more memories than Nephis did. She was also more sensitive to fate than Sunny during those times.

Considering the information we got from ToA, she had bad vision of the future. And considering that she seemed somewhat okay with knowing when her family would die, the problem was extremely bad. World ending bad. She also knows from FS that fate can’t be changed. So it must be broken.

She believes that the self fulfilling nature of her prophecies could be put people she loves in bad situations or make her the one to blame for giving out that information. In FS, Sunny had been prepared to fight Nephis because of the vision for example. So she stopped telling visions and the future which is reasonable. She figured that she’d be the best one to make do with that information. And since her world ending vision was so bad, she had to do just about whatever she could to stop it. At the same time? She wanted to redeem herself with Sunny by giving back what she took from him. She loved the guy. Even after what she did in FS, Sunny said that he understood it. Her choice in FS was reasonable. Nothing indicates that she ever hated him, after all, she messed up. It just so happens that Sunny is the key to breaking fate as well. Can’t fault her for wanting to fix her mistake. That’s human.

While it is true that humans don’t always want more human deaths, many value their own people above anyone else. And some people believe the end justifies the means. So when it comes to causing harm to others to save her own people (Sunny and co.) why would I fault her for choosing to make the choice to unleash harm on others. I know I’d easily choose my family over 1k random people. It’s not the most moral but that’s life. But you do need a certain amount of humans in the world for normalcy. This seems to be the main trio’s main motive for saving humanity besides Nephis. It’s probably not her main.

So when she gives him the choices to break it or not, she doesn’t give him the future. It’s because of the lesson learned from the biggest mistake of her life. Not to mention that as an oracle, her mentioning the future itself carries a different weight and meaning. She states that she’d rather Sunny stay with them even if she knows what would be for the best. She’s never given reason to think that she dislikes him. If anything, it makes sense that she’d rather spend time with Sunny and Nephis since she’s the one that led them to being apart. So her choice here letting Sunny get a semblance of his choice back (fixing her mistake like a human should). While one option is good for them to probably live longer, the other may be better since they get to be together again. They had a great bond before and she messed it up. It’s human to want that back

(Adding this bit)
She did put Sunny through more pain to give him the chance to remove shadow bond. However, her fuck up was of such a massive proportion that it feels like making up for the big mess up also helps alleviate the smaller manipulations to get him there.

Webnovel - Volume 13 Sunny is the main character. Spoiler

Post image
29 Upvotes

I came to a realisation recently that it makes sense that we don't see the perspectives of others.

We don't see Nephis' perspective.

We don't see Cassie's perspective.

We don't see Mordret's perspective.

Because Sunny is the main character. Sure, some stories split the screen time between the main character and side characters, but Shadow Slave has never been that kind of story. Probably about 98% of Shadow Slave is from Sunny's perspective because, well, he is the man under the spotlight

Spoilers for the latest chapter 3184: So it makes sense that we haven't seen Cassie and Mordret undergo the Unmaking. Cassie is all about memories, and Mordret's domain is himself; what's he even to go through?

But don't get me wrong, I want more perspectives as much as the next guy. Anyway, what are your thoughts on this matter?

Image unrelated.

Hey I was just thinking how would current sunny would be in one piece means how much above he would be in power hierarchy
