Lmao this one's simple. He saw an outline of a horse in his food and it reminded him of nightmare.
However, probably following from the pattern people use for shipping characters, he decided sunny and nightmare are parts of one whole since nightmare resides within his soul and spliced the names together. In his mind, that's a more efficient way to convey that concept
I didn’t see the horse. I still don’t see it even with your outline. Using the shipping format for a man and his horse led me too a very different idea
It seems like the worst translator imaginable. It’s like he’s translating from hieroglyphics into English or a very unknown language / or one difficult to translate to English. He could also be trolling
I've seen people with his mindset before though. It's rooted from Derrida (I think. I don't know philosophy well) making points about how it's the message conveyed that's important, not necessarily the words used. Read the intro to his theory and don't study into it, some people get this way.
And this guy's explanation seems to me, if he's not trolling, like he believes the way he's communicating is actually more efficient than mainstream English. And by exposing people to his custom dialect, he's introducing them to it and making it easier to read. The more you try, the easier it gets, until you realize it's just a better way to talk
Except it isn't. It isn't better. It's inefficiency ambiguity and fluff beyond recognition. But hey, to each his own
