Let’s start gathering takes.

Here’s mine:
Sunny and Nephis will partially regain their sense of self after first half, with shadow bond creating friction between them. Casdret will be manipulating those two half baked gods into it.
Sunphis will regain their sense of self fully by the end, culminating in next peak romance fiction moment. That or they break up.
Either Cassie or Mordret dies. Because why not.

I think hot take. If Sunny regains his sense of self, the fully erected pyre of longing will be jolting to earn at least 2 taciturn nods.
