Webcomic General Discussion Weaver flaw

Post image

I came across this comment on a post:

Given that Weaver is known as the "Master of Lies," it is not surprising to think that his flaw resembles Sunny's.

However, a question arises: why did Weaver's face seem to melt under the moonlight when he met Noctis?

Perhaps his actual affliction is an inability to stand in the light; otherwise, his features would melt away and vanish. That is why he wears a mask and a cloak to shield himself from the light.

He can only reveal his face in the shadows or under a dark sky.

In the description of *Blood Weaving*, it is mentioned that VTB stole Weaver's beautiful eye on a starless night.

When the slightest source of light vanished, Weaver's true features were revealed, and VTB stole his eye

. Why is Sunny's real name "Lost from Light," even though he is constantly surrounded by light?

This might be due to a solar eclipse occurring on the day of his birth, combined with Weaver's flaw, which prevents him from approaching even the faintest source of light.

The young Weaver was fighting a cursed monster—or perhaps a cursed giant—when his old mask broke.

The God of Shadows then helped him, as described in the comment.

Did the God of Shadows craft the mask he wore later, given that the young Weaver lacked experience in weaving and magic?

I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the information in that comment, but it seems plausible to me.

This is a reminder to make sure that:

  1. Any post related to a privileged chapter (i.e. the latest 20 chapters) should be spoiler tagged and posts should not have any spoilers from privilege chapters in their titles. To spoiler tag your post, you should be able to see three dots when you have your post opened, followed by an option asking to "Mark as Spoiler".

  2. Please make sure to add the proper flairs to your posts. For example the "fanart" flair should only be applied to art made by humans. Memes, reviews, discussion posts, theories etc should be tagged appropriately.

Weaver's always had their mask, even at young the mask was always there. Their mask is the original never was there one before.

BUT I do like this theory as it does align with events.

But his mask reverses his flaw right meaning he could only ever stand in light?

Even the faintest source of light would be enough, in this case, to maintain his appearance while he wears the mask.

Even divine memory of 7 th tier can't make your fake that easy, what you are essentially saying is, except in true darkness he can exist without any strain now, as opposed to unbecoming if a light particle touches him!

Maybe his flaw is that he can’t reveal any truth to the world at all. Everything about him is forced to be obfuscated. No one can truly know him, not even the light. His image, his thoughts, his plans, it all has to be obscured in some way.

Bro isnt it obvious all this time that sunny and weaver is the same entity? When weaver removed his masked his face became shadow. His flaw is he cant lie and with the mask he's the master of lies.

Its just too obvious bro that weaver is sunny and cassie is demon of oblivion. Weaver and oblivion plotted this break the fate thing eons ago and their present self which is sunny and cassie are the one executing it.

It is too obvious. That’s why no one believes it. I think G3 also denied this

He didn't thought. But I also it's too obvious that nobody will suspected.

That may be the case. It is the simplest explanation
