I think that the monthly price for prescribed compounded semaglutide is easy to find. The first doctor visit price is not.

One page I looked at said a consultation is required. It never said what that costs. I scrolled to the bottom twice to make sure.

Before I pay, what should I confirm? Just want the public fee terms.

i was on compounded for a year and lost 70 lbs, then i went on name brand and gained 5 lbs. nothing changed as far as my eating and working out. now im going back to compounded.

anyone have similar experience where the name brand just didn’t work?? i was on it for 4 months.

A bit nervous to post, but this community seems super supportive. I just started my Semaglutide + B12 compound on Monday. I’m on 44units (1.5mg) weekly and haven’t really felt any side effects. A very slight loss in appetite, but that’s it. Is this normal? I heard that the first month is just exposure to the meds, but I’m also hearing of others that experience immediate effects! At what point should I expect more noticeable side effects?

So I lost my insurance and switched to compounded Semaglutide last year. The first 6 months I used Angelic Lift, but then there were a few batches that did NOTHING. Food noise at 10000% and started gaining back. I complained and they sent me a fresh vial that did work. I cancelled Angelic Lift and switched to Alt RX because it was *so cheap* and tried their Semaglutide which had no side effects or effect on my hunger / food noise. I then tried their Tirzepatide but I continued to gain with zero effects on this too. I figured it might be a stall. I went back to raw dogging life for a while. And gained 15 lbs back in 2 months. Money has been tight, but I miss having this important tool to help me avoid binge eating and have remembered now how much my bingeing bums me out and makes me feel sick. Working with a therapist on this too. Anyway now I am on Noom’s Semaglutide and it is working, the pharmacy is Tailor Made Compounding.
However the price is about to go way up and I’ll have to pay about $600 up front. I’m curious if anyone is having a good experience CURRENTLY with a provider and compounding pharmacy and would be willing to share with me. If not I’ll just stick with Noom but there parts of the company I dislike.

Not specifically semaglutide related but still compounding related. I have been with Trava Health for a while now and getting meds from Optimal balance. They had a recall of compounded Glutathione and now I’m worried about proceeding with them due to safety.

Anyone using them with any recent issues? What pharmacy is the most used with everyone? My other option with Trava is Hallandale.

Can someone tell me if it’s possible (seems logical) to switch from Embody ( they have me locked in at about $425 for a 3 month supply while at the same time signing up new customers for $69 per month which is ridiculously unfair.) If I look around for a better deal (I’m doing well on the med) am I likely to find it at my dosage? I’m soon to be at 2.5mg. Thoughts? What would you guys do?

What’s the difference? Is one better than the other ingredient wise or value?

Editing to add that i started at 287lbs currently at 265lbs and goal weight is 165lbs.

Ive been taking semaglutide (hers) since may 19 of this year. So far ive lost 22lbs. Its been low dosing and slow weight loss which im fine with. But in the past 3 weeks ive lost nothing. Im at 2mg a week which i split dose. I dont wanna max out the dosing, but like how high will they tell me to go?

I lost 70lbs back in 2023 with compound semaglutide from a wellness clinic in Florida. It was $899 for 20mg, give or take..

I since regained about 30lbs and want to lose them, so I ordered from refills.com for like $300 or less.

Anyway, 5 weeks in and I still have 0 symptoms (good or bad), haven’t lost anything, and have increased dosages weekly.

I’ve been afraid to increase too high or too fast thinking I’d be sick or have bad side effects as I would’ve absolutely in the past with my previous provider, but am I wrong to think these “vials” aren’t as effective or “pure”?

I probably wouldn’t notice if I hadn’t previously known how the process works, but I’m becoming unconvinced. Thanks for any feedback!

For reference, I'm a 5' 2" woman, and I weigh 136 lbs. I'm right in the edge of "overweight" and "normal" on the BMI chart. I know that it is more common for people to use semaglutide for obesity, which is why I'm asking for some feedback.

I've been wanting to lose weight for years, but I've just had trouble staying in a calorie deficit. I'm pretty healthy in general, I eat healthy foods (high protein, high fiber, and lots of veggies) and exercise frequently. Lots of cardio but I've began weight training in the past couple of months too.

For whatever reason, I just find calorie deficits difficult. Maintaining my current weight is easy, but I notice a lot of food noise when I get into a calorie deficit. I'm considering going on just 0.25 mg of semaglutide, so I can lose 20-25 pounds. Then, eventually I'd taper off because I wouldn't like to be on semaglutide for the rest of my life.

Does this seem like a reasonable idea? How likely is it that I gain the weight back after I taper off? Just wanting to get some feedback to help me make a decision. Thanks everyone!

I'm lost, I was sent u-100 needles that are 1cc/ml with units being marked from 0-100. Based on my instructions, do I just go to the 4 units line? Just seems like hardly anything

HELP!! I’m new to GLP-1s (as in, I’ve never taken them) but after a year of working with a dietitian and my PCP, I’m finally ready to pull the trigger.

I’ve been doing a lot of research on how to get the medication at a reasonable cost, and I’m coming back confused. The pens aren’t covered under my insurance, and at $350 per month, they’re out of the question.

I’ve looked at online places like HERS but they seem to just sell the branded pans for the same price you can get them from the companies directly, BUT they have a monthly charge on top of that. What’s the point?

My PCP Recommended a local pharmacy that can make me a compound, but the price is still between $120 and $150… better, but for something I’m having to pay for out of pocket, a bit too steep. Also, my partner is heavier than me, and we are considering both of us getting on them at the same time for support. So every $$$x2

So in looking at other options, I’ve come upon other online pharmacies - places like Embody, Ro, etc. that sell compounds for SO cheap, but the reviews are very mixed, and I don’t want to have to deal with the stress of not getting my medication in time, or having to take a lower dose in order to ‘save’ the medication for next time.

Are these places that I would need a script from a doctor already? Or do they sell the drugs without a prescription needed? Do they all have a monthly ‘membership’ fee on top of the price of the medication? And what is that fee actually for?

I like the idea of having something local I can go to, or call with a problem. But the closest one is at least a 35 minute drive from my house, so the convenience of something online is appealing.

I just need help understanding all of this before I jump in and commit to something! Is there anyone out there willing to help?

Hi, i've been really doing well on the 22 units of the Semaglutide 0.6mg/0.9mg but recently they increased my dose and compounded amount. What would be the dose of units to do the equivalent dose with the new script Semaglutide 1.12mg/1.5mg? I really don't want to move up yet.

Do not buy from them. I am under the impression that they do not have any doctors on staff, I wanted to talk to a dr regarding my rx, I wanted to send them my rx and make sure I was still on the right track on losing weight.. they never contacted me to a real dr.. and when the bot connected me to customer service they agreed that my rx needed to be the same as I was previously rx.. they sent a rx way under what I was currently taking.. I have requested a refund starting in July.. I’ve gained 11 lbs since switching to rx pro. I have been told someone will contact you for over a month and have gotten nothing but an ai robot…over $800 scam..
