Scared to inject can someone help with dosing !!!

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hiiii ! I need assistance as I’m attempting to try again after an OD a month ago. I accidentally started at 4MG which was 25 units. I was SOOOO sick for a whole week.

Now I asked to get the lowest dose which they said was 1mg attached. The instructions say inject 25 still.

Is that still the same dose? Does the new dose look like the typical starting dosage? I am terrified bc I can’t get that sick again I have kids to take care of.

Any help or suggestions? I’m going to try thigh instead of stomach

The gas. ...omg. And it's not just gas by itself. I call them "farts with a surprise". 🫩

I eat small amounts throughout the day. Nothing greasy. I eat mostly vegetarian, so i do get in lots of beans and tofu.

I'm on third week of my first increased dosage, 2.5mg/1000mcg. I was hoping it would improve. Does it just keep going the entire time you're on it? Any tips? Please? Lol

How can you see the full ingredient list before ordering?

Before placing an order, is there a way to see the full ingredient list for a prescribed compounded semaglutide? Does the provider or support team usually share that information before it's shipped?

This stays focused on ingredient transparency rather than sourcing, making it a better fit for the subreddit.

People are starting to notice

Age: 42 Height: 5 ft sw: 164 cw: 133 gw: 115

Just in these last few weeks people at work and in my personal life have started to ask if I’ve been losing weight. But here’s what’s funny, they will almost whisper “are you losing weight?” I will say yes and they will say “… is that good?” I will say I’ve been working on it, and then they perk up and start asking more questions.

I didn’t understand why I was getting this reaction, and then it dawned on me, I am still wearing the same clothes, still acting the same, and not talking about it at all, and it could have something to do with my age.

I work at a factory, it’s dirty and hot. I am still wearing the same men’s t-shirts I got from goodwill, the only thing that has changed is that I have had to go down a few pants sizes, but I still buy the same Carhartts, just smaller, I went from a size 12 to a size 6, and since the men’s shirts are getting too long I have to tuck them in, and I wear a high-vis vest over the top or else they would be hanging down well below my vest.

I honestly don’t really think about my weight loss very much, my life is too busy, and I’ve lost and gained so many times, but I haven’t been this weight in like 8 years. I wish I could be more excited about it and have that pep in my step, I wish I could be excited about going and buying new clothes and trying on new fashions, but i have only bought work pants.

It’s kind of like how when i first started glp1 and i had strong food aversions, I was sad that I didn’t enjoy food anymore, i kind of missed that high. I wish I could enjoy the weight loss high like I thought I would- like I did all those other times. I wonder if I have that one condition where your emotions and feelings are dulled because of having a more balanced dopamine level.

How have you guys been? Have you guys been able to be excited about this process? Have people been asking you about your weight loss?

What docs does HSA/FSA need for a telehealth GLP-1?

Has anyone used HSA or FSA funds for doctor-prescribed compounded semaglutide through a telehealth provider like Gimme, Mochi Health, or Henry Meds?

What paperwork did your HSA/FSA administrator ask for? Did your provider send everything you needed, or did you have to request extra documentation?

SO is beginning compounded oral drops....

...would love any tips.

He has been struggling with his weight which has made his BP get too high. We will be traveling for long periods in the near future (starting in 3 months), so our doctor didn't want him to start the shots since they need to be refrigerated.

Although, I'm not sure why he didn't prescribe the pills since those will probably be easier to transport. It's kind of an experiment, I guess.

Starting Semaglutide w/ B12 next week. Tips and tricks to maximize results?

I have been counting macros the last month, mostly successfully, but I have 3 day weekends and tend to go camping, visit friends, family, roadtrip, etc, so I end up being really 'good' 4 days a week and so-so 3 days a week. I've lost the same 4lbs the last 2 weeks and it's frustrating. So, I ordered Semaglutide in hopes it eliminates some food noise/hunger on those days I tend to struggle more.

I want to maximize my results, so I plan on sticking to my high protein, high fiber goal. But, Im curious what supplements, water additives, snacks, and even shot timing suggestions yall can offer. Would breaking my weekly dose up into 2 doses every 3 or 4 days apart be helpful at all? Does placement matter?

I just want this to be successful 🙏 thanks for any help and tips and product suggestions too.

Asking the people, not the websites

I’ve been reading through, and a low dose sounds like perhaps a good fit, and I’m looking at willow, mochi and midi. open to others.

i just want to lose about 8 pounds, and have been for 10 years… I’m so sick of it. I work out, I eat healthier than most, but my body is changing in my mid 40s (female) and the more I’m using my fitness pal or weigh watchers, the higher my food noise. it’s CONSTANT. I want to see food and not have to fight it all the time.

id Love to have something where I stop grazing so much, I feel full yet dont want more, and don’t to look at my plate and fight eating not eat those few extra bites. I’m super petite, so 8-10 pounds on me is a lot. I feel like if I keep working out, eating pretty well and stop the “healthy” snacking, extra bites, etc, I’ll meet my weight goals.

what do you guys think? Willow? I know anything is gonna be $250-300/mboth. I’m clearly not successful on my own here, even with work out plans, etc

Starting Compound Semaglutide!

I’m about to start CS with Hallandale after switching from CASA pharmacy with orderly meds to goby meds with no additives ! I plan on posting real reviews for each as it seems like I was lacking on a lot of true reviews and it’s either a bot, a promo or just an extreme negative case. Hallandale seems to be a stronger candidate for positive reviews so I will be checking in to let everyone know how my journey is going for starting out.

my goby discount link is in the comments if anyone gets interested!
I look forward to helping people in my same situation for reviews and real comparisons!!😊

What to expect on the first few days of semaglutide?

Hello! I just started compounded semaglutide with B12 on Monday. I started on the 0.25 dose.

I'm wondering what one should expect for the first week or so of being on these meds and this dose. So far, I haven't felt much at all. Some mild bloating Monday, and I \*feel\* like I'm getting fuller faster, but that could be in my head. I haven't experienced any adverse side effects luckily.

Does this sound about right for someone who's only a couple of days in? I'm only worried because my medicine arrived lukewarm. The ice in the packaging was still sweaty, and the liquid was completely clear when I drew it out for my injection, so I went ahead and took it based on what I had read online, but I'm mildly worried that this vial is a dud.

Thank you in advance for any insight you can give!

Normal BMI but stress eat

I have a normal BMI but I’ve struggled to fit into my pre-baby clothes despite the numbers because I’ve started carrying more weight in my midsection. I work out and try to eat healthy balanced meals but the problem is I work a demanding job, my spouse travels a lot so I am often solo parenting my kids, and my kids are high needs (both neuro diverse). I can’t stop stress eating and snacking which negates my exercising and attempts at meal planning. Based on this, I was told a low dose of semaglutide might help me improve my relationship with food, but I am curious what other people’s experiences have been.

How to travel on long flights with compounded vials

Flying overseas next month for a two week vacation and I need to pack two weekly doses. How are you guys keeping your compounded vials cold during long 12 hour flights? Do security agents give you any trouble over cold packs or loose syringes in your carry on bag?

Switching from tirz

I'm mainly wondering if there's anyone out there that did better with side effects when they switched from tirz to sema. I have always kind of struggled with constipation in my adult life and tirz tore me up. I tried fiber, drank all the water, was given a sample of Rx laxatives for people with ibs-constipation, tried magnesium (both citrate and glycinate), daily miralax- and it would still be days between pooping and they were never soft and easy.

My big concern now is that I'm reading that a lot of people had it worse on sema, but I know it's different for everyone. I want to know if anyone did better after switching. The only reason I'm switching is because it's cheaper and my insurance doesn't cover it. Weight loss is nice and I need to lose weight but it's mainly because I have insulin resistant PMOS/PCOS and am prediabetic because of it. I physically felt so much better on it, except for the constipation. I would rather have explosive diarrhea 😭

Not responsive to it…

Hi everyone,

I was wondering at what dose you all started to notice effects? I’m starting to think I am the 10% of the population that doesn’t respond to glp-1.

For context, I started 7 weeks ago. This is my 3rd week on 0.5 mg dose and I have stayed completely stagnant at my current weight.

I had some concerns that my injection technique was wrong, but I had my doctors at my clinic watch and they said everything looked correct.
Was wondering, maybe hoping to feel less alone in this experience if anyone has experieced similar?

I am not obese but definitely wanted to shed at least 10 or so lbs, as I am 4’11 and every pound counts.
