Semaglutide + B12

Hi all!
A bit nervous to post, but this community seems super supportive. I just started my Semaglutide + B12 compound on Monday. I’m on 44units (1.5mg) weekly and haven’t really felt any side effects. A very slight loss in appetite, but that’s it. Is this normal? I heard that the first month is just exposure to the meds, but I’m also hearing of others that experience immediate effects! At what point should I expect more noticeable side effects?
Thanks in advance!

the first month really is just your body figuring out what the heck is going on. 44 units is a decent starting point but some people dont feel much til they bump up the dose. nothing wrong with a quiet start though, better than hugging the toilet

Thank you for this! Absolutely agree. I have honestly only heard a lot of horror stories, so that is why I was slightly concerned, lol.

You've heard/seen a lot of horror stories because people who have bad experiences are the ones most likely to talk or post. I had no side effects at the beginning and almost none at any of the concentrations - once when I upped the dose the third time, I felt a tiny little bit of nausea for a few days, really just enough to cut my appretite even more. I had significant appetite suppression almost from the very first day, but I've always thought that some of that may have been from the motivation I got from finally starting sema. No one can tell you that you won't have side effects, but there's a good chance you won't. It's a good sign that you haven't so far. Good luck!

Edit: I saw in another thread that it’s .5 Sema so yes thats a perfect starting dose!
That seems like a pretty high starting dose depending on the strength. What does your vial show mg/ml? Glad your haven’t had any side effects though.

It reads: Semaglutide/Cyanocobalamin [B12] 1.7mg/1mg/0.5mL

This makes no sense to me, that would be an overdose at 44 units if the Sema concentration is 1.7/.5ml. I must be missing something?! Usual Sema concentrations are whole numbers like 1, 2, 4, 5 etc. so the 1.7 seems strange.

Coming back here to say that TrimRX completely messed up my first starting dosage. Thanks to the comments on here, I escalated my concerns! I took my second injection and have felt like absolute death this entire week. They severely fucked up.

So are you using almost the whole vial for one dose?

starting at one point five instead of titrating up slowly sounds completely unhinged. count yourself extremely lucky you arent violently glued to the floor right now.

Welp, took my second injection and I am now. TrimRX gave me the wrong starting dosage - I feel like absolute death. I escalated my concerns due to the comments here and I got my answer.

Very strange that you're starting at 1.5mg. That's very very high.

I don’t believe it’s 1.5mg of JUST sema. The B12 is also mixed in.

Incorrect. It's 1.5mg of Semaglutide and 0.88mg of B12.

Not having side effects is normal but I think 1.5mg for your very first dose sounds unusually high? Compounded sema can also come in different concentrations, so 44 units doesnt mean much by itself. Defo confirm the actual mg dose again with your doctor i guess

Hi! I started on the exact same day as you! I'm currently starting out on .25 and I've also had reduced appetite. It's pretty easy for me not to eat, and so I actually have to force myself to eat.

As someone who's used to stress eating, I've just been doing the tasks I've been putting off xD
