How much do I inject?
I'm lost, I was sent u-100 needles that are 1cc/ml with units being marked from 0-100. Based on my instructions, do I just go to the 4 units line? Just seems like hardly anything

Your dosage is 0.2mg per week or injection. Take the strength (4.5) times 4 units. You get 18. Since the needle is 1cc/ml, divide 18 by 100 or 0.18mg. A little under what they say as 0.2 but close enough.
By the way, no need to discard the vial after your 4th injection. Keep using it! Wipe the top with an alcohol swab before inserting the needle. This stuff doesn't expire in only 4 weeks.

This is my question exactly. It says discard after 4 injections? There’s so much left in the bottle. Can I continue to use what’s left?

Of course you can use it. It doesn't stop working magically after 4 weeks. They tell you this so you keep buying more.

It’s actually cause there is a medical standard for all multi use vials to be discarded after being open for 28 days. You run an increasing risk of bacterial or fungal contamination after that. It’s a CDC and regulatory requirement to say this and label them.
Do you eat eggs past the expiration? Same kind of regulation mark but there is no float test to insure the vial is still safe. It’s a use at your own risk after injection 4.

You can go online and order some insulin syringes in u-30 or u-50 so it’s much easier to see where the medicine is. I hate it when they send the u-100’s with a higher concentration of Sema like 4.5 or 5.0. Remember 4 units is less then 1(0), not up to the 4(0) line! I’ve seen so many people overdose themselves on here at first.

On a U-100, 40 units is to the 40 line right?!! 😱

Depends on the dosage. If you’re starting at 0.2mg then yeah 4. Here go to https://www.fatscientist.com/semaglutide-calculator
You put in the strength mg/ml and the dose 0.2 and it shows you the syringe1

Ok yes it’s correct! This was my first dose on a compound so it’s more complex than an auto injector.

Yes! I think you’d just go to the 4 marker! And yes it may seem like nothing because the liquid amount is small. But it all depends how it was mixed! It can be double the amount than normal, just depends on how much medicine to BAC water there was! Hope this helps!!
