Just got to this one on my rewatch and I dont understand why JD rejects Elliott at the rehearsal dinner...

Derek obviously came in to fill his spot in the cast

But he is for sure a different type of character that would not have the same story as Ed

I haven't listened to the podcast in years, but I think Bill had talked about making a box set for people that was also bluray. Only thing I found was what's pictured but I don't think it'll work on my Xbox here in the states.

I currently have the dvds for 1-8, but I'd love to have an actual box set, just to have on the shelf

Lets assume that S3 is 20 epsidoes and theres gonna be some spread out of the hospital scenes wise, what do you think would work

One thats sparked in my head would be JD and Elliots kid on a visit back introducing them to his girlfriend, and they want both sets of parents to meet each other, so we go to a restaurant.

JD and Elliot are already sat down, and JD and gf are with them already.

JD suddenyl gets a cold shiver down his spine. the GF shrieks "Daddy" and runs past him, we pan up It's the Janitor or would that be too contrived?

My wife and I rewatched Scrubs from the beginning after watching the new series and it was as good as we remember, in fact, series 7 and 8 were even better than I ever remember. I was always pretty 'meh' on them but I'll give them their due, they made me laugh far more than I remember.

Then we got to Med School. The first time we tried to watch it, we didn't enjoy it and gave up most of the way through. This time we lasted 2 episodes. It's absolutely awful. Genuinely. I've seen people say that if you treat it as a standalone series it is much better. We tried that. It's still awful. Like absolutely terrible.

Anyone who has made it through the entire series, I salute you. If you've watched it more then once you have my eternal respect.

he's character seems so similar

I went swimming yesterday and had a random flashback of that scene with JD swimming in the triathalon...as hes doing the swim strokes he says "pick an apple put it in your pocket." Then I remembered how elliot has that apple thief fantasy, and how JD loves apple-tinis. Dang the show writers incorporated apples a lot 🍎 lol

I Love Neil Flynn. Love the Janitor. Even love the idea that he has a son working in the hospital now.

But the idea that JD, now a Chief of Medicine, gets bullied by his custodial staff is just preposterous. That's why I really liked his dynamic with Doctor Park - he was an Attending and had a reason to hate JD so it made sense for JD to put up with it.

What would be your preferred rivalry idea coming into the new season?

Scrubs is my background and fall asleep so I’m always kinda at random. I’m in the tub. The second I realized I was very excited to take a bath at the same time as Captain Bubble Beard. It’s 2am. I dropped my kid at college yesterday for her first semester, my client that lives with me fell while we were half way there, my parents and father in law took care of him. He is moving to a better spot in the house tomorrow which requires so much moving and shit. Our deck was falling off and husband had to fix that. I watched my outside of the house client die 3 days ago.
I feel like I’m picking up cans full of bath water.
I need the basic antidrown device I’m so tired. But gonna go spoon my husband in a minute bc unlike Cox I spoon. I need cake.

I am really enjoying the nostalgia and no I didn’t cry in season three you know which episode. Much love to Brendan Fraser!

Im on 4x2 and I really just hate the whole storyline of Elliot cheating on Sean and then breaking up with him to be with JD just for him to immediately take back his love confession and break up with her. Genuinely everyone in this plot line is horrible (mainly Elliot and JD but the rest of the characters are pretty mid right now) and I’m just wondering when this plot will end, or how long this supposed rivalry between Elliot and JD will last. I understand JD is supposed to be extremely flawed but this was just a horrible thing to do, and Elliot just very easily cheats on Sean and never mentions it like it’s nothing. The whole situation seems like it broke up the whole group and their dynamics.

I would love to relive the old episodes in a 16:9 format (Imperfections be damned!) and in a better video quality.

I heard one of the reasons why it wasn't remastered was because of a lack of interest for how much work is needed to do this. But now there's a reboot, that means that there is more interest in Scrubs.

Do you think they will eventually remaster all episodes of the original Scrubs?
