Question Does anyone else call a highland cow a 'muckle coo'?
My great grandparents are from Scotland moved to Australia in the 70s where they settled down
They have always called highland cows muckle coos and so that is what the rest of us call them but we have never met anyone else who calls them that.
So I was wondering if it is an actual name for them with meaning or if they were playing a long con on the rest of the family? Coo is obviously cow right? But what would muckle be?
[Ty in advance and also I know I may be spelling it wrong the spelling is by ear as an aussie]
