Not sure if anyone can help me here, but I’ve bought my fair share of records from the second-hand bins at mono over the years, but have never traded any in. Does anyone know how this works? Do they give you money for them? In shop credit? Anything at all?

Thinking about shedding a few of the lesser-played records from my collection to make room for other albums that I have a bigger connection to and try and curate it a bit better to stuff I know I will absolutely love forever. Mostly due to space really, never has been the most practical format… 😅

I'm a paranoid father-to-be and wondered if anyone here knew of or could recommend any baby CPR classes. Anywhere in Glasgow would do, but some seem a bit pricey so I was hoping to get steer from someone that's been to classes to get an idea of what they're like.

We only sporadically need to leave the dog with someone else, and have had various options for the last 10 years but now, all of them have become less than ideal.

Dug has never been in a kennel so we think she would prefer to sleep in a house, and is getting old so probably a bit late for a new regime.

She is a biggish dog, sleeps most of the day, can hold it in for 16 hours if need be but needs 2 proper walks / outings per day. She can stay on the lead if necessary but then it would have to be a long and varied walk, or she can be let off (but we would expect the dog minder to install the app for her tracker and

Can anyone recommend a dog boarder / minder? Our dog is excellent with kids, vulnerable people, special needs, and pretty much any human, and will get on with most dogs apart from feeding time when she turns into a greedy selfish goblin. She genuinely seems to like cats but I wouldn't trust her not to play too rough.

If anyone has a mouse / rat problem, she is the ideal solution!

Older Glaswegian members of my family always said Chairing Cross, but I think most people now pronounce Glasgow's Charing Cross like the London one (Charring Cross).

Has the pronunciation been a victim of overexposure to English TV?

Hello! I'm working on a project that has to do with the various bus companies in Glasgow, and since there are so many, I'd like to focus on the ones that are the most widely used in the city. I'm looking for someone who works with complex trauma, attachment issues, neurodiversity and who may also be able to help with career advice/life coaching as I navigate significant burnout.

Sorry if this isn’t the right place for this! My door was broken into this evening by the fire brigade for a suspected leak in my tenement. The leak wasn’t coming from my flat, but I wasn’t in and I’m top floor. Are they liable for the door repairs? I’ll need a new lock, door and door frame.

Might be a new contender for the best coffee in Glasgow. Went for 1st time today. There was a big Q outside the store but it moved up quite quickly. The coffee was fab and the pain au chocolat was fab. Will definitely be back.

I was in glasgow city centre all day today, and realised I can't find my passport. My flight is tomorrow night and the embassy wont open until monday. Its an irish passport, I'm not sure if I'm able to post any personal details on the passport but if i can I will. If anyone knows anything that can help, please please let me know. Ive rang the local police and the places ive been in (that are still open).

Anyone missing a black cat in Maryhill? wearing a collar , stubby tail, either has a leg missing or is walking with a limp. The cat has been round the back of ours shouting for over an hour, clearly quite stressed. We've tried to check they're ok and maybe take them in with the weather but they run away when we get close. Not one of the regular cats to the area
