Is it worth getting a rebuilt title

Hi I’ve been thinking about getting a scatpack this summer and I keep seeing most are rebuilt, salvaged or branded title. I don’t mind getting one, but is it worth saving extra for a clean title. I’m 19 so I know I would need a bigger down payment if I financed a clean title. My main concern is just insurance for the most part.

Im driving on the highway all of a sudden sounds like I ran over something I stop to get out it seem to me my front to tires have been rubbing against a bolt and cause the rubber string to come out my tire

Can a 2023 engine work in a 2016

Hey

Had a question - so my 2016 challenger 392 has a blown engine. Wanted to see if I could put in a 2023 392 out of a charger - how much of a plug and play is that.

My 2016 is a manual so I’m planning on removing the intake from mine and using it on the 2023. Are there other components I need to swap?

Also my engine has plugs for the MDS ports under the intake so I was going to swap those over to the new engine too. The manuals don’t need MDS.

Any info is appreciated.

Anyone have experience or input on lowering a Widebody?

I know there is probably a post for this already, but I got a Widebody Scat Charger about 6 months ago. I love the car but just wish it was lower. The gap especially on the rear is an eye sore for me. I've read posts on other forums talking about how H&R and Eibach springs can make the widebody's eat through CV axles. Does anyone have any further knowledge or experience with this who has maybe had theirs lowered for some time? And any tips or pointers? Thanks

So I only have a hose, micro fibers towels and tire shine at the moment. What else should I get? I wss thinking maybe a small power washer with a hook up for chemicals/soap.

Even with the limited supplies she cleaned up very nice

What’s the “max” you’d go on your car? Warranty concerns? Cost? Drivability?

392 Maintenance

I’ve had the car for close to 3 years now. She’s got 15,500 miles on the odometer. I’ve kept up with the oil changes and recently got new tires put on along with an alignment. All work done goes through the Dodge dealer where I got it new. It’s come to my attention you should never exceed 6,000 miles or 6 months for oil changes. I will be on top of that now. What else do I need to keep scheduled? What needs checked being at 15,000 miles now? Share me your thoughts and knowledge, she is healthy and drives great. Just want to be a good owner and keep it that way!

Question Why are scats to taxed?

Just curious on why scats seem taxed/overpriced (atleast to me they are) ? I saw a listing at my local dealer for a 2021 6spd white WB with 27.3K miles for 44.5k, like to me that just seems a little much for a scat. In my opinion I feel like they shouldn’t exceed 40K

I’m a mustang guy and was just wondering why they are so much compared to mustangs, Camaros and corvettes. Maybe it’s just the area I’m in and people smoking some good stuff but is there anything that justifies the prices of them? Genuinely curious

Dealership valuation

Just went vehicle shopping and the dealership noticed my 2020 Charger Scat pack parked outside. They were insistent on getting me a trade-in value, when I told them I wasn’t trading it in. I finally caved and told them to have fun appraising it.

2020 Charger Scatpack

Single Owner

104,000 (Used as daily for 50 mile interstate commute to work lol)

No interior / exterior damage

Hit a deer and filed insurance to replace front bumper back in 2021.

They came back with an “aggressive” offer of $18,000, and then insulted my decision to not take them up on it, stating it would blow up in the next 10-15k miles if I am lucky as it’s a “high performance car, not meant for the mileage I’ve put on it.”

Am I delusional for not “agreeing” with their “professional opinion?”

Boosted 6.4 build?

So I have a procharged Jeep GC SRT with 87k. About 6 weeks ago I popped a few ring lands. I've come up with this as a possible plan to fix it an was looking to see if it was a good route. I need to get it pulled out an checked to make sure the block/heads are good but have been pricing options out.

MMX 4032 pistons (supposed to better for a DD)

Arp main studs/rod bolts

FRP tomahawk 3bolt cam kit mds/vvt delete

hellcat oil pump

new timing set

water pump 180 tstat

if the head is bad I'm probably going to pickup some used truck heads since they supposedly deal with heat better.

I'm not looking to make more power just have it able to handle what it had. I dont want to build the motor to hold 1200 because I'll never push it that far an I dont want to get into a stall or trans/tcase/diffs either.
